- In this video, I join world-renowned beatbox experts Stitch and Justin (Beatbox International) in a reaction to Heartzel performing his GBB23 World League Solo Wildcard! In this video, we analyse his amazing performance, explain and demonstrate his vocal techniques and we'll tell you what we think made it so great.
This is honestly one of the most impressive things I have ever seen.

May she could be considered for making some decisions or judging to reach more precisely considering nowadays Beatboxers are very musical,
Likely GBB needs at least one of the judges is a pro vocal coach or a pro producer who also knows the beatbox anatomically.
You watch as she takes it to the next level by incorporating sound techniques from other genre, like metal growls & frys and maybe some opera level vocal techniques manipulating her inward bass notes or what ever else she knows.
maybe she will find a subject for a PHD combining all forms of singing techniques into a single Beat Boxing champion
@@USEDtoRule As for producers outside the beatbox scene, we did have Sickick as a judge once (in 2019)
I may be wrong but I don't think he's a beatboxer or specifically involved in the beatbox scene

@@Precisa72 Pretty much what I've been trying to do actually. Learning everything from throat singing to beatboxing. Not with any view to compete or be a champion. Just because the amount of different noises and sounds you can make is so fascinating. Also there is so much overlap between beat box techniques, subharmonic singing and overtone singing. I'm trying to incorporate a kick with a metal growl. Also it's kind of cool that if you pitch up a subharmonic, you can make a really awesome robot voice. Like if you've seen intergalatic by the beastie boys, you can simulate that first robot voice with that technique.

Hold up, I’m pretty sure at 13:32 she just learned how to click roll. A lot of pro beatboxers can’t even make that sound. The potential is getting scary, but in an amazing way lmao can’t wait to see more!!!

Don't go too far lmao every pro beatboxer can do click roll, even intermediate beatboxer know it because it's easy to learn

06:28 - I love Stitch's expression of shock here from how fast Lolli was picking up sounds. Something I realized when watching the beatbox community is how amazed they are of other's contributions. It's a really supportive community.
It takes some people months or even years to grasp some sounds, thats why we as beatboxer got surprised. Its not clean but once she practices, she will be great. Especially with her knowledge who knows? We might be witnessing a beginning of something amazing
@@whyvern6817 Thought more of beatboxers reacting to beatboxer, like _Chezame and SXIN._ They are always so amazed of what they are hearing, but it's possible because the beatbox scene has evolved so much during the last few years? Fun to talk to a beatboxer. Been amazed by you guys for 15 years.

That was incredible and he is SUCH a good teacher. Wow his ability to break down what is happening ... the specific mechanics of the sound is just absurd. It's even more mindblowing knowing how it's done! Also you are too adorable lol ... they're such proud dads!
Ive been beatboxing for 40yrs and the last 10-15 yrs, these young dudes have elevated the art exponentially, and you are just tapping into it. I love what beatbox has become, and I love your analysis and infectious enthusiasm. For many many years, I didnt even know other people beatboxed apart from me and Michael Winslow!
I actually saw michael winslow reacting to this new generation of beatboxing but I bet he'll be pleasantly surprise the turn the scene is taking considering he reacted to it 2019/2020. Just goes to show how drastic and crazy the change is these last few years, probably partially thanks to crews in Japan and Korean for pushing it mainstream over there and probably also thanks to Chezame and Sxinn for holding the BBU Event

It's incredible to hear the breakdown of the different aspects of the sounds, but really makes you appreciate the years of work that must go into mastering it. I can't even do a quarter of these things individually, let alone together!

Edit: It's blowing my mind how fast she picks up sounds, this is extremely interesting to see cause someone with experience as a vocal coach catching this sounds means they are extremely talented aswell, so it makes up for a cool interaction between beatboxes and people interested in plain vocals, at the end both us beatboxers and vocals enthusiasts can learn from this and i love it!

Any ideas on specific performances to look at? I think a lot of his most interesting techniques are his recent TikToks, but it might be good to suggest something longer as well.

Heartzel, to me, was always simplicity cut into tiny pieces and collaged together in a complex way. Like drawing The Creation of Adam with Crayons but still making it look incredible. Also this is really an awesome way to react and analyze with other creators

This woman has insane potential. She's the unicorn here, not us. Look how fast she learns things and even figures out without explanation while having no idea what's going on. Bruh... I'd like to see you progressing, which would be extremely fast.

I've been following beatboxing since 2013. I know every names of pro beatboxers, tecnique names, sounds names. I have to say that she does learn really fast lol, I am just as shocked as Stitch and Bbx international guy whenever she is close to making the beatbox sounds which usually take months for some ppl to be able to do.

Also, Stitch is a gem. One of my favorites out there today, and just seems like a really good dude.

It would be interesting to see you react to MB14! any loopstation songs that he has...
He sings, rap and do opera and he is the one that use the less the effects. He also can do a sitar sound and has some arabic influences... You can react to "Pyramids" for exemple
He also harmonise ( like a choir ) and have an interesting way to do sounds to make them sound so real
