- This is the last day in the caterham what a brilliant time i've had, i thought i would give some final thoughts on why i believe you should buy a caterham over a nissan gtr.

the moment your sawing at the m3 wheel, and saying quite genuinely its not turning was a LOL moment for me. Great video and your right about drivers cars some people will never understand. I sold my M5 F10 recently because it was like driving a play station game, it was fast as they come but you had no sensation of speed . Great vids
Ross c Yh I felt that when I drove the m5 at lower speeds too caterham total opposite feels like your doing 200mph all the time

@LivingLifeFast totally agree with your description of the Cat, i used to own a TigerZ100 a caterham clone with twin bike engines four wheel drive that was all that the Cat you drove was with performance to leave most supercars in your wake. The drive experience was so viceral so raw and with so much feedback after an hour of driving youd feel like you had been on the road days such a workout for your body and your mind focused driving to the extreme.. kudos on your chanel man keep up the great work

Never driven a Caterham but I've done the single seater 1600cc at Silverstone on a small track, I was only averaging 40mph but it does seem like you are driving really fast, best fun day ever about 20 cars on track, and drained when I got out the car, so I kind of no what you mean. PS if you take the Mrs out in the Caterham again she should where a helmet.

LOL. Well done - you should try a 1.7 supersprint with the ford crossflow and twin 40's (Webber carbs) - you can buy them for about 12k, bit less in the winter.. they have twice as much character as the 160, and have it as a fun car and keep your bmw for everyday schlepping.

As a former Lotus 7 daily driver for a year, reading other commenters talking about going so fast, I’d say, only on a track. Aiming to drive fast on public roads is misguided. Old people with slower brains are legitimately there too…and motorcycles and bicycles and children and animals. The 160 and 170 apparently produce less pollution than some hybrids. That’s the type of stat that should trump zero to sixty times these days. We all think we drive better than we actually can. Don’t we?
I hope caterham build it next years with 1.0 ecoboost for the same price...

What did you think of the gear change? Other reviewers mark it down for the woolly change but i'm guessing as you don't mention it you think its ok.
Lolz if I turned the wheel on my S Max like that it would be moving all over from left to right. TIL the SMax has a better front end than the M3
