What a morning! A huge thanks to everyone who came along to our launch either as a volunteer or a runner/walker.
Our course has been described as flat and fast and it certainly was this morning. We'd like to congratulate both Tamara Carvolth, first female on 17:36, and Alistair Wells, first male on 18:09. They now hold our course records but for how long...
We had some milestones which are worth mentioning and we thank people for choosing Old Esk Railway Station parkrun to help celebrate these. First up we have a number of people who chose us to start their parkrun career, with run number 1. These were Emily Laycock, Justice Cameron, Ash Dempsy, Samantha Townend and Kristy Gloag. Congrats on getting started. We also had Sean Drake celebrating his 50th run, Bianca Delaforce on her 100th, Sue Anthony-Smith and Felipe Martin on their 150th and Anna Johnston on her 250th!!. Last but never least both Kevin and Renay achieved their 100th different parkrun event by choosing us to run with this morning! Congratulations all round.
