It technically isn't, but he DOES show it during the 4-way duel between him, Yugi, Joey, and Marik for determining turn order. It's implied he took it from Lumis & Umbra per Battle City's ante rule.

I love the idea that he took it and put it in his deck even though he couldn’t use it, but then he could remove it to go first in the 4-way duel. Galaxy brain move 😂

@@Dave.Mustaine.Is.Genius to determine the order of the finals, they had a 4-way battle royale. Top 2 and bottom 2 would duel in the finals. Each of the 4 remaining duelists had to removed 1 card from their deck, and the highest attack monster removed would go first. Essentially, by getting rid of a strong monster you got to go first. Kaiba put Des Guardius in his deck knowing it was the highest ATK monster anyone had, so he carried this useless card just so he could remove it to go first, because it didn’t help him.

$500 after taxes from Konami but aftermarket prices are $2,000. I don’t know if you can still purchase these from Konami at the moment. This product is just incredible and as much as I would like for this to be more obtainable, I would like for this to be a Yugioh treasure and for Konami to not reprint the cards and sell a limited amount of these briefcases.

Such an amazing product. I prefer the OCG display since it's not only cheaper, but VOL 1 BEWD looks incredible and doesn't have the TCG cardstock look. Congrats to anyone who picked up a case!
Kaiba's briefcase is what I wanted as a kid to hold all my Yugioh cards. The moment he busted it out to try to purchase Grandpa Muto's Blue Eyes was iconic.
Kaiba's briefcase probably has secret compartments inside that contain alternate arts of his other staple cards like Lord of D. and Swordstalker etc.

A millennium puzzle with Yugis deck would be cool but I think it wouldn’t make much sense for his deck to be within that. I think it’s more likely that they store that deck in a golden sarcophagus.
No reason it couldn't hold both. In the anime that gold sarcophagus was what held the millennium puzzle. They could give us the sarcophagus with the deck itself being buried under all the pieces.

I have no regret ordering this. I'm super excited. I think the Japanese card style is better than the TCG but the quality they've produced for us is on par with the Japanese.Hats off to Konami. Hope mine arrives soon.
I remember when this came out in Japan, I was so excited to see it because I love prismatic secret rare Blue Eyes with the original art (like the DDS one) but it was still way, WAAAAY out of my price range haha 😅

Kaiba's Briefcase looks INSANE. I know it was expensive but you can really tell that the build quality is intense. I bet that thing is nice and heavy and how can you not feel like a badass walking around with your best deck of Yugioh cards in a giant metal briefcase like that???

Definitely an amazing product ever made, the fact they used the Japanese artwork of Monster Reborn and Ring of Destruction is sick! Not the only time, I’ve see this, I remember in one of the game boy advance games of yu-gi-oh!, they used the Japanese artwork for Gemini Elf, I’d buy that briefcase for $100 if I did not care for the cards, I need storage for my other cards, absolutely amazing!
Kaiba's briefcase don't get me wrong is an awesome display and collector's piece, but for a very normal person like me, in which it would cost a big fat chunk of what I get a month, in all honesty can not in good conscience buy one . Even though I really, really , really , REALLY!! Want one.

Briefcase still missing a bunch of cards in Kaiba's deck and the majority cards they used were from Duelist Kingdom. Lastly Life Shaver was Yugi's card.
Did konami email you with a tracking number when they sent the briefcase? I am asking because I got mine and the boxes where damaged shipping label didnt have my name on it like was put on the shipping info but the credit cards holders name and they started opening it when it came not realizing its for me, and I wanted to keep the product sealed for like 10 years. i just think they did a preatty bad job considering shipping was $95 for it...

About time they printed some of Kaiba’s unique cards like Guidance armour and trick mirror.
Life shaver was Yugi’s, but Kaiba used it so I get why they printed it for him.
I just loved the nostalgic feeling of seeing these cards again

The Kaiba briefcase is perhaps a bit overpriced for what you get but despite that I still pre-ordered it in order to own a fantastic collector piece.
Price aside my only true complaint would be the contents of the deck.
If you count the QCR Blue-Eyes White Dragon you only get two Blue-Eyes White Dragons in the deck. If you don't count it because it's a different art and rarity you get... one.
Yes, you have the three in the slab but a Kaiba deck that adheres to the anime does not feel complete without three Blue-Eyes White Dragons.
We get cards like Grappler and Steel Ogre Grotto while missing out on other cool cards such as the Fang of Criteas or even Chaos Emperor Dragon.
However on a positive note I am quite surprised, in a good way, that we got the OCG art for Monster Reborn and Ring of Destruction.
It's still a cool product and I can't wait to get mine.
Kaiba's briefcase is iconic in the anime. He walks up into Yugi's grandpa's shop like a boss and immediately tries to make a deal for the Blue-Eyes. I always thought that was badass. When I was younger I used to carry around my cards in a little silver Texas Hold'em Poker briefcase I got from the dollar store and pretended to be Kaiba. 🤣
As someone who grew up with Yu Gi Oh since the beginning but stop watching and playing sometime in 08 then knowing nothing about nothing of Yu Gi Oh until I looked back into it in 2020,one thing I never understood is how blue eyes became more iconic then Dark Magician? When I found out blue eyes was the holy grail of Yu Gi Oh I was like wtf? Wasn’t Dark Magician the literal MC main card is 😂. Till this day I’m still kinda confused maybe because I was never a fan of Kiba and kinda hated him so I’m bias.
Nicest collector item they've done so far. I didn't pre-order because I thought it was going to be crappy TCG quality, but it looks like they printed the cards with OCG card stock. Damn. Hope it's not marked up on the secondary market. I'll pay $500 for sure, but I have my limits.
I treasured my Blue-eyes White Dragon that I had from Starter Deck Kaiba since 2002 the same way Solomun Muto woulda treasured it, if it weren't for Kaiba!! but anyway, I never knew Konami would foil common cards like Dark Energy, goodness gracious, I am loving it good video!

The briefcase is the iconic accessory for Kaiba. I always thought that i was very cool but now that I think of it, it seems that having a briefcase to hold 3 prize cards is overkill hahahaha! Please let me win the GEM MINT BLUE EYES!!! :,)
Life Shaver, Magical Trick Mirror, and Attack Guidance Armor are indeed new cards to the TCG. However, one card that is also new to the TCG is Grappler, one of the recolored counterparts from early yugioh (the other card being Drooling Lizard) that never made it out of Japan.
Trash, its basically the 15ax Korean version but with english text. Same modern ass quality print of the card. Also the deck the main difference is the English text but the quality is the same ass modern cheap quality. The ocg version the card quality is better.
The Kaiba case was a good idea for fans of the show, but was poorly timed in it's announcement in my mind. They should've announced it closer to Christmas when more people actually get spare spending money. I know that's why I didn't buy it, because I didn't have the money when they announced it. There also should've been a bit more too it to make it actually worth what I recall being a very high price tag.

I’m beyond stoked and excited and even more now after seeing the cards and quality of them. Currently waiting for ups to deliver my briefcase and hoping they hurry up 😂. Between both tcg and ocg I can’t really pick because both look amazing but I will side with tcg for this one.

I dont think the Blue Eyes cards or any of the cards should have been in TCG or OCG Format. The cards should have been Konami's grand reveal for Anime artwork cards where its just the picture and archetype with the stats at the bottom.
Same briefcase to me when I saw the Japanese and English version. The cards look absolutely beautiful and amazing in each!! I do believe the same amount of cards are in both. I wish the cards in English and Japanese had a little stamp like Kiaba exclusive edition like they do with the first edition. But honestly amazing video

This is amazing product for all the Kaiba cosplayers out there. To me though it's the holo deck flex, that is totally Kaiba lol. We already got legendary collection of Yugi's deck so I'm not sure about getting a Yugi verson of this product but we will see we know Konami loves the nostolga factor.
I stopped playing after the fourth or fifth set. I don't like that foiling. I love the Blue Eyes card. I love the idea of this product. Just don't like the foil effect. Makes me think of the old tube TV screens. To be 100% fair, I don't like this foil effect in Pokemon either.

Ive been out of yugioh for about the last 18 years. Was ADDICTED as a kid. I got back into it once master duel came out and the 25th anniversary sets are incredibly cool. I would love that blue eyes, congrats to whomever wins!
Not gonna front,I've been wanting this in the Japanese version of it let alone all the cards I got(and I've been collecting since Konami got the rights)but I'm surprised that it came out in English so quick and I know some of the card art is gonna be different too,but I know my dude is happy that he got one
Dead teared up a lil seeing those cards plus the forbidden memories bgm. Remember being like 11 or 12 and baught my younger brother and myself a kaiba and yugi deck from the flea market .We was at vacation in Florida and it was raining ode so our disney world plans got canceled and we just spent the whole day dueling each other😂. I can still smell those cards 😢
the only thing Im sad about is the lack of Paladin of White Dragon and White Dragon ritual. White Dragon Ritual is the only "Blue-Eyes" card released in the tcg so far that has no foil printings. Not even a rare. Its only been released as a common so it is the only common in my Blue-Eyes binder still.
I dont understand how a product like this sky rockets in price i just checked on ebay and man the price for the tcg Blue Eyes and the QCR earth Blue eyes art they selling for around the same price for whole breifcase i do understand its a collectible but man if i could of figured out TCG would of gotten one i would never bought the OCG version which i totally regret but it is what it is imma still attempt to get both cause i dont need a second breifcase.

Kaiba's briefcase is a childhood dream come true. Love this. I think there isn't a huge difference between Japanese and TCG briefcases. Nevertheless, I would love to have one briefcase like this

The briefcase is actually fire imo. Doesn't matter if it's Japanese or English version. But imagine if they actually make it all the cards 25th anniversary collectors rare. That will be insane.

Very cool, but I feel for the price they should have included all rarities for the blue eyes white dragon as extra cards or had 3 different rarities (collectors, quarter century, prismatic, etc.) For the 3 in the display case.
I don’t which was more nostalgic, Yugi’s Legendary Decks or Kaiba’s Briefcase. I’m a fanboy of the Starter Deck Kaiba Blue Eyes artwork.
The promos are fire but what really caught my eye was the rarity bump for the whole deck. That's lit my dude.
I really wish there would be a Joey version with Red Eyes Black Dragon! love that beast so much more than blue eyes. it's not as good but it's just so much more badass in my opinion!
