She is super talented amazingly brave and stunningly beautiful
My father would have loved this. He was a serving soldier in WW2 and loved his life in the forces. He was a great fan of forces bands and yes would have loved to see you and listen to the most amazing voices you all have. I have many happy memories of sitting in the front room listening to bands from our wonderful armed forces. X
How has this not gone mainstream?
When I watched this video, the first thing I said was: "It's so cold that I felt the fog, the cold and the damp rising up on me. How must the actors have fared?"
My sincere thanks for the look behind the scenes and especially to everyone who was involved in filming and presenting the song, no, the anthem.

As a filmmaker I loved the fact that it was supposed to be a bright sunny day (but the military know that no plan survives contact with the enemy or the weather!) However, I think the fog gives it a much better look. It could have been any barren hillside anywhere in the world in the morning mist. Something familiar to any of us who have served.

As a retired U.S. Army Public Affairs Soldier, I respect the work that went into this and love seeing how our cousins across the pond work. I got a good laugh out of the end credits where you thanked the fog!

I would never have guessed where this was filmed. Kingley Vale, Hampshire, looks like the Hill fort or Burial Mounds in cloud and mist.

And band musician Sam Mclndoe has been promoted twice too Corporal as seen in the 2021 MBFM

Superb, but are not a cabaret act!
Lip synch? The recording sounds much too polished for this location with wind and just a drummer. Nice studio work though in integrating all the performances.
They probably did what they do in movies and tv shows where they actually sing but is replaced with a studio recording post-production that way the lips and emotions of the singer are correct and on point with the hymn its the same thing they do with actors and that in tv shows most of the lines you hear in the shows are recorded in a sound booth.
this was not lip sync it was live
@@derektaylor6389 what they did was they sung the hymn on location but swapped out the audio in post production that way the lips match up, its done in almost all productions that way you get the visuals but also get the perfect audio quality too its extremely rare to find any professional productions use the sound recorded on location and as Jack pointed out the audio is just too polished even if you edited the fuck out of it the audio still wouldn't sound as good as it does.
@@derektaylor6389 you can hear the wind in some of the clips that would ruin any audio they recorded there.
