Ah yes, one of my favourite place to refreshing from grind and doing some competition. Thanks for featuring this place again with f2p account 🍻 I usually use any spoon and top water lures especially topper and walker either #4/0 or #6/0. Topwater lures for that middle spot, and the other with spoons, and make sure use flourocarbon leader 🎣
Hey Bo! Great vid as always! I am currently level 49 and in the middle of the Sturgeon grind. I recently did this same thing, took a short break up to Kaniq Creek just to get away from San Joaquin. The one lure that really seemed to work for me at Kaniq is the X-Series Single Spoon 1.5oz #4/0. It's the reward for staying 30 days in Lesni Vila. It works wonders at Kaniq! 3 speed stop-and-go right in the middle of the water column seemed to be the best retrieve for me. The other thing that really helped me maximize money was to rotate the spots at Kaniq to ensure you get those uniques. Uniques respawn every 2 in-game hours, so I would start at the middle pin, try to catch a unique Chum, Sockeye, Dolly, and Bull Trout, then move up north and try for unique Pink and Sockeye up there. Then go down south and try for unique Chinook and Cohos. Once my 2 hour window was up, then just go back to the middle and start the rotation all over again. Hope this helps someone out. With a 440lbs keepnet, you can easily make 22k (non-premium account) in about 45 minutes or 2 hours in-game. Pretty decent break from sturgeon. Can't wait to see what you come up with next Bo!
The way i made the game fun for myself is that i would have to catch every single fish in every single form it had and the monster fish in whatever lake i was before moving to the next one, it never felt too grindy and i always had a ton of money and i was always a few levels ahead of wherever i was fishing so i could afford good gear, though after reaching kaji no ri and getting every single fish in the game there is just nothing to do and i ended up quitting, the rise to the top is really fun this way but the actual top is nothing special
Yeah, don't go to the menu and leave the location when you stop playing. Just quit the game while you're still there. You'll spawn at the exact spot you were standing when you come back if you make sure you choose the same map location you used last (it'll already be orange when you load into the game). If you pick one that doesn't show orange at first, it'll go to that starting point instead but you'll still have whatever fish were in your net when you left and it'll be the same time of day as when you left, too. And you'll start with the same rod in your hand if you were holding one when you left. Your stand won't be deployed and all rods that were on it will be back in your rod case. Worst that'll happen is your daily license could expire while you're gone, so you might have to pay the license fee again to renew it and keep fishing. But you won't have to keep paying to travel back to the same lake or whatever every time you start the game.
Havnt played this game for a cuply years cant believe sturgeon farm is still the go, might get my rid n reel out n blow the cob webs off because of you bo
Damn i came here looking for sick RF4 content but after scrolling trough your whole upload list i could only find the 4 or 5 you did are you planning to upload more on RF4?
@@paristin9867 I am as well- I’ve got a COTW: The Angler video next on my list, and then I’ll look back into RF4 after I put out another location full of test your spots. Hopefully that will buy me enough time to make an RF4 video 😉 Difficult balancing time/life between work, 2 UA-cam channels and family.
@@BoAngles i can't imagine how difficult that can be at times. i have a hard time doing anything after a work day.. youtubers are truly another breed..
I started going for sturgeon at like lvl 38 and I’m 40 now and I’m going till about 42-43 and then I’m going for big salmon, I’ve been experimenting with them at San and yesterday I caught the lake record fish and I’ve been crushing them and getting a bit more xp with the salmon then sturgeon bc they hit so fast and there pretty easy to get in if u have a good set up
Your intro is awesome man and when i found out ebout you i have diffrent look on fishing planet when i was new player i coudnt get from lonestar because i was overspending so thanks:)
You just go wherever your heart desires! Some people like going to the everglades because it breaks up the monotony of targeting walleye from 12-30. Other people would just rather stick to walleye for 18 levels... I think if you have the right gear, traveling to the Everglades can be a lot of fun!
No at croix you get way more money catching pike using 3 rod's, with a two rod setup, the xp is probably better also as you're catching way more like per day, can only catch about 2 stergon per day at the other fishery at lvl 36-
Hi if you enjoy catching trophy common carp at San Juan try jumping a boat or kayak and going left across to the to the area where there is a little dirt area where you can get of the boat. Then go all the way to the right when facing away from the water and cast out float rigs about 37 feet at night with duck mussel meat set to maximum depth. I have been catching around 3 or 4 a night in between sturgeon. I find they fight harder than the sturgeon and pay between $2000 - 3000 bucks. If it works for you like it has for me then it could make a good UA-cam video.
I think I’m going crazy with sturgeon….
You are crazy

I traded Sturgeon for Siberian Taimen farming in Mongolia at 48. Couldn't take the Sturgeon grind any longer!

I have a question: when you leave the game without leaving the fishing spot, when you come back will it spawn where you was
yes

I'm still having problems with sturgeon. Even though I'm already level 43 😂
I wish games made both female and male versions of the salmon. The beaks look so funny to me lol.

This place got me laughing crazy :DDDD
bro this vid is so cool
why not keeping the last unique and release the lowest fish in keepnet?
The keepnet he has in the video has a maximum single fish size of 55lb. It's not because he has filled up the keepnet.
I find the pinks salmon are the easiest for me at least
Do I go to Everglades or wait till I get better stronger rod and go to st croix

Why is this the last episode of the series? @Bo Angles
Because I haven’t made any more yet?

You may get more money a day but you fish for longer when you account for time spent fishing sturgeon pay better

Do u play fishing planet mobile cause I would love to see that, any way great video :)
It’s basically the same game as far as I’m aware. I just wasn’t a fan of how it disassembled your rod stand if you had the game closed for too long.

Sturgeon grinding at San Joaquin or bass grinding at Everglades of you are lower level
Can I get a rough money estimate for the gear and coming here in general for the first time?
He showed it. Just add it up.
