KTM Scarp Exonic I Dream Bike Build I New 2024 I Cross Country / Marathon Bike

The ever-increasing demands on riders and bikes and bikes constantly anew. So it is hardly surprising that the designers at KTM have given the 2025 Scarp Cross Country and Marathon Fully a fine tuning of the geometry: a 17 millimeter longer reach, a one degree slacker head angle and 0.5 degrees steeper seat angle - These are just some of the changes in the update. A new CNC suspension rocker with only 49 grams, so called Submarine main bearings and a voluminously designed bottom bracket are as well as chain stays with larger cross-section on the drive side should, according to KTM, increase the frame stiffness by 48 percent.
We received one of the first KTM Sharp Exonic bikes and were able to assemble the bike in our workshop. The bike with top equipment such as the ultra-light and powerful Trickstuff Piccola brakes, an FSA cockpit or a Tune wheelset result in a 10,4kg light complete ready-to-race bike out of the box. Die ständig steigenden Anforderungen an Fahrer und Bikes werden im Cross Country und Marathon World Cup immer höher. So ist es kaum verwunderlich, dass die Designer von KTM dem 2025er Scarp Cross Country und Marathon Fully ein Feintuning der Geometrie verpasst haben: ein 17 Millimeter längerer Reach, ein um ein Grad flacherer Steuerwinkel und ein um 0,5 Grad steilerer Sitzwinkel - das sind nur einige der Änderungen im Update. Eine neue CNC-Federwippe mit nur 49 Gramm, so genannte Submarine-Hauptlager und ein voluminöser gestaltetes Tretlager sowie Kettenstreben mit größerem Querschnitt auf der Antriebsseite sollen laut KTM die Rahmensteifigkeit um 48 Prozent erhöhen.
Wir haben eines der ersten KTM Scarp Exonic Bikes erhalten und konnten das Bike in unserer Werkstatt zusammenbauen. Das Bike mit Top-Ausstattung wie den ultraleichten und leistungsstarken Trickstuff Piccola Bremsen, einem FSA Cockpit oder einem Tune Laufradsatz ergibt ein 10,4kg leichtes, rennfertiges Komplettbike. Beautiful bike, thanks for posting the build. I have a KTM, wish it had the reference to 1964 in the paint. Too many people dont know KTM is the OG!
