How to Replace Fuel Filter on 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M109R

- This video is showing how I replace fuel filter on my 2008 Suzuki Boulevard M109R. The filter for this model is located inside the fuel tank and it's connected to the fuel pump. The fuel filter should be replaced once every 2 to 4 years.

Hello friend, good video, at how many km does that fuel filter change?
Fuel filter on most motorcycles should be changed very 40,000 km (25,000 miles) or every 3 years my friend.

It should be the same process as the M109R. The filter should be inside the fuel tank. The only difference between C50T and M109R is the fuel tank on M109R is bigger and the displacement is bigger.😊👍

I was going to buy 109r but after few repair videos i think it is made like any other bikes nothing new so i think i buy rocket 3,2023 thanks for the video.
Yep especially the early year on M109R. I am not sure about the newer year though. But keep in mind that all bikes have their own problems and it doesn't matter what brands or models. The key is how you maintain it....and keep it maintained. 👍
@@MrBeeHS in rocket 3 all the Viering is in the handle bar in 109 is like any other bikes also i saw clutch repairs in 109 not happy i had 26 bikes in my life i think rocket 3 is the one i buy chrome edition 2023.
It's a very nice looking bike. Weight less than 109 and more hp. The price is not bad at all .. starting $24k

My fuel gauge doesn't read correctly with the fuel level. Do you have a video on replacement for the fuel sensor?
Sorry no I don't. Just keep in mind that the fuel sensor on all of the M109R won't read correctly. I've read about it online. Sometimes the gauge showed me that the fuel level was full, but there was half of the tank left inside. And most M109R owners have the same problem.

Das ist aber kein original Filter von suzuki, sondern aus China. So ein Teil würde ich nur original einbauen. Gruß Martin
The original filters from Suzuki or China are the same and work the same. You can use the original one from Suzuki, but it will cost you a lot more money than from the China filter.
My M18OOR is 14 years old never been in the rain ever just over 4,000 on clock still on original fuel filter and no issues everything still perfect

@MrBee Handyman Specialist unfortunately I live in uk 🇬🇧 in winter time parked up until summertime will go out a couple of times every month in the evening only to avoid rubbish traffic cleaned only with cotton wool and still in mint condition and will start up in a second still on original back tire amazing muscle bike
