This is one of my all time objects of beauty. I saw him display this aircraft at Duxford about 10 years ago. It should be periodically flown but also savoured like a fine wine. Fabulous video, thank you for posting.
That was a long take off roll and a slow climb out! I kept expecting it to appear above the line of parked aircraft, but it was still on the ground! You can see how underpowered they were. It looks hideously unstable too. Brave men flew them and it takes a brave man today.
I had no idea that there was a FLYING Bleriot plane. It is so beautiful and graceful. It just wants to JUMP into the air. Very cool. Thanks for this awesome video.
There are several, it was the first mass produced plane ever, for obvious reason, Blériot made between 800 and 1000 of these, and many pilot of 1914 of ALL sides actualy learned their skills on these.
Your photography is EXCELLENT! They should have let you on the front line so your view would be unobstructed, and you would have been away from the crowd and their talking.
Hi there! I'm making a movie musical about the life of Harriet Quimby and the history of aviation between 1910-1913 -- do you mind if I use some of your footage in my video? I would absolutely credit you and send you the final product!!
One of the most beautiful designs in the history of planes. My brother built a gorgeous peanut scale version many moons ago. Thanks for the post.

You forgot Greta Thunberg. She’d soon put a stop to all this flying using dirty internal combustion engines.
Wow Beautiful Show Piece and the footage is very Cinematic Looks like shots from a ww1 movie scene. Great Job!!!!
Thanks for the kind words and glad you like my video 😀👍
Excellent
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. 😎👍
What, no barrel rolls?😄 Seriously, thank you for creating this thing of beauty.
I think a barrel roll could be challenging with wing warping instead of ailerons 😆😆 But a loop would be nice too 😎👍
Great video, I enjoyed it very much.
Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
Världens bästa Karlsson.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Amazing old bird. Thanks for watching 😎👍

she really is beautiful
Amazing the things folk stuff away in a barn........then forget all about it!
@John Martlew It must be priceless? A Spitfire sells between £3m - £6m and we have a few of those flying around the world.
Terrific!
Amazing show, thanks for watching my video.😊👍
Hi, fantastic footage! I tried to contact you via flickr. Is there another way to get in touch?
Are there no ailerons….? Is he steering it by just using the Rudder….? Or does this Plane use Wing Warping …….?
This plane is totally original restored, so it is controlled with wing warping. Amazing to see the 1910s technology live. 🙂👍

Hello, sure feel free to use it. Looking forward to seeing you're video.
Almost doesn't move like a plane, more like an animal U need to respect so it doesn't buck U off.
Must be interesting to fly this bird. Thanks for watching my video 😎👍
Hi there! I'm making a documentary about the Bleriot for the South Yorkshire Aircraft museum! Mind if we use this footage if we credit you please? :)
Hello, feel free to use it. Great when my footage can be used for a museum 😎👍
@@705547 Thank you very much indeed! We'll be sure to give you credit and notify you of the finished product! :)
Looks like an 96 inch propeller.
I like the russian version more The Blyatiot
incredible. true flying for real men [women probably smart enough not to do something so risky. LOL]
