@@fatcat2015 I mean, his losses are entirely on him. He made some bizarre plays against Doug every week. In week 2 gingerbread bailed him out after he punted, but after that he just kept finding new ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Farfa actually made that luster deck look pretty cool, makes me sad it's probably gonna take the bulk of the bans for him since, I mean, the hell else are they gonna hit? 🤣
Purr was a banned strategy walking, so I'd hoped that Gage would milk a few extra wins and get caught up with Doug before the hammer fell... but it's at least kind of funny that he and Farfa have traded positions from where they were at this point in last season.
Honestly, I'd hit his veiler and give his BLS deck a chance, just to be nice to him.

@@Celestia282 Because his one hand trap is still a good rip but it doesn't actually affect his deck. If Gage and Doug hit his decks like they will when they target each other, then he has absolutely *no* strategy going into the new format. Both Blackwings and His BLS deck will be absolutely crippled, and they weren't even all that good to begin with. All he'd be left with is mermail, which is even worse than the other 2. Meanwhile both Gage and Doug have decks they can fall back on and build around in the next episode. This puts both of them leagues ahead of where Farfa is and will create a really shitty cycle where he'll always be on the back foot unless he gets insanely lucky, which there's no guarantee he will.
Hitting his veiler means he can keep this BLS deck going into the next episode and it actually puts him in the *advantage* since I don't think either Doug or Gage have any backup decks that can compare to this. He can now start building around this chaos strategy and incorporating some other archetypes that play well with it.

No it wouldn’t. If Solemn and big turn enders like Destructive Daruma Canno and Mistake aren’t seeing play in top decks, what chance does Sales Pitch have? Even in side boards, grabbing a random hand trap isn’t very good over any other good trap card.

@@Endershock1678Something not seeing play doesn't mean it's dogshit, and if something amazing isn't seeing play then it means the format itself is busted. TCGs should be about the grind game, but instead almost every deck these days is all about comboing off to set up a board of negates and removals to ensure that your opponent doesn't get to play. The rest of the decks are control and stun decks meant to counter the former, and everyone calls them toxic because "how dare you play backrow?!" It's fine to stop your opponent from playing when you use monsters to do it, but heaven forbid you use spells and traps like the game originally intended.

Mulcharmy does not work with this card. You need an empty field to use it. It’s a trap card, so it needs to be your only trap card, or some kinda lab nonsense needs to happen turn 0.
Nib is fine, but it’s a lot less scary when you’re adding it off a trap and it’s not live in the hand, since it gives chain opportunities and can get forced out early, which decks like Snake Eye and especially the new Yubel can take advantage of. Yaccine and Jesse Cotton said it best, “trap cards in Yugioh need to have straight up broken effects to see play, because the time it takes to set them up makes them so much harder to justify in increasingly tighter and tighter deck lists. Anti-Spell Fragrance isn’t even being main decked, what chance does this have. Realistically, you’re gonna be playing this going 2nd or 3rd when you know you can set this, but at that point, silver bullets like ASP, D Barrier, and Mistake are so much more effective.

No he wasn't, he played Swordsoul and Marincess for most of the season. Dzeef was the one who was making decks like Danger Darkworld that ended on Mirrorjade.
MBT wasn’t playing scraps, he was playing sealed constructed. He’s incredibly good at seeing mini-synergies and cards that decks don’t play that are amazing in actual play
Sales pitch stops you from activating the card making it instantly worlds worse. It might see play in sides if it could search you the appropriate handtrap when going first, but as is all it searches is a board breaker or starter making it a card for turn 3 at best and that is a bad effect.
