Same with Yubel. I went 4-2 at a regional and won a side event, and every single win was basically "Oops, I didn't read your cards and now I have to attack your dude and I lose."
galaxy photon is based because it’s like “what if blue eyes was better in every possible way and also space themed” like it’s got -good combo starts -able to play around stuff decently -consistent easy protection in the form of starliege photon blast dragon -punches things so hard they explode and all you have to do is not brick and then not get interrupted more than like twice haha
Galaxy photon is better than blue eyes? You must be playing against some truly abysmal blue eyes players. (Which is 100% believable.) Blue eyes absolutely demolishes Galaxy in the hands of a competent player.
Alright, hear me out. Ursarctics have a spell that draws 7 cards, can play even if your opponent has the first turn, has a "discard 1 add 2" spell card, has a monster that can negate Link and Xyz monsters, one monster can even negate Fusions and Synchro's now, insanely cool Subtraction synchro, the only Level 1 Synchro monsters, works with Drytrons, Based af, they have targetting protection, can use Deep Sea Diva, can clean your house, go to job and earn money for you, also based on Big Dipper constellation (just like Barian Emperors, they are also cool), also i don't know the prices but i bet they're cheap. Lack of resources? Lock to Level monsters only? No negates? What?
It's a shitton of level 3 starters/extenders that uses horus for a fast negate/GY dumps to turn on PK/BA/Adventure engines to end on multiple varied points of interaction (XYZ armor succ/3-mat Apollo/1-2 fog blades, and additional things depending on what the opponent plays and what you open, e.g. griffon negate, PUNK negate, XYZ armor board negate, XYZ dragon rank up pop) TBH, I'm still working on the goblin part. I find that I often have excess XYZ mats at times, so I am working out how many and which goblins I can fit in without losing consistency.
Okay now hear me out, what if...when your opponent activates any snake eyes or fire king cards, you just asking to read the effect, then chuck the card across the room...it's a bold strategy, but might work.
Here's the thing, if we all do it, Konami can't ban us all. If we all just pay off the judges and do this to all of the snakes eyes players, who's gonna stop us? The only thing Konami can do is ban all of the snake eyes so this stops happening.
You there! Do you like linear combo lines that only need like 1 copy of each archtypal card with maybe 2 exceptions? Do you like engines that facilitate even more cancerous endboards? Do you like ending on at minimum a quick effect spin everything and a Knightmare Gryphon and at maximum several other powerful link monsters co-linked to gryphon PLUS an omni negate? Because Crystal Beast can do all of that. Just don't ask them how to play through Ash.
Ok hear me out.... Hear me out. Ojama. Can any deck truely handle a shield and sword effect? The psychic damage you can inflict playing ojama delta hurricane is worth more then the price of admission. Also teching Melffy Mommy is funny.
I am on your side, I am pretty sure you could also probably just insta-win every tournament by playing Ojamas while cosplaying as Ojama Yellow. I am pretty sure the psychic damage that would inflict, should be enough to secure you top 3 at least.
@@xfluffytraxy4996 Only the 100s lock you on their built in special summons, so you could hypothetically get there with Flower Gathering, Cherry Blossom With Curtain, and a little luck. It's a WILD play, but it's possible.
you know what's hilarious? seeing your opponent's reaction when you activate bonefire but search volcanic trooper and then proceed to activate eldlich the golden lord's effect, discarding itself and blaze accelerator reload *i just want to set the world on firreeeeeee*
>Sell me on how your bad pet decks could beat Snake-Eyes! >starts with archtype that actually won a recent regional I mean, I suppose it wouldn't be an MBT video otherwise, being subscribed to the guy, but idk if we're beating the My Bad Takes rep with this one.
Synchrons, look as long as you're going first a good build for the deck can still give you an okay end bored without needing much. Also if you include Red Supernova Dragon you have the ability to banish everything whenever they activate a monster effect from anywhere.
Right? That's the true king of Synchro. Pardon me as I get 3 Omni negates that banish or destroy while I King Calamity Lock you on standby. It's a solitaire deck though.
@@kindlingkingnah, they do stuff after getting Nibbed (or make a negate if you tried to hold too long), their true end board is Speeder pass cuz you breathed too hard at its general direction.
Unironically Melffy Spright has been my favourite deck for the past year and genuinely having a more expansive melffy package enables a very strong grind game that beats what fire king snake eye throws through hide and seek and staring contest. Tldr: Pinny is the cutest melffy :)
Volcanic is kinda crazy NGL. There's a pilot at my locals and the deck consistently blows my mind in how resilient it is, and how much it does from seemingly nowhere
Here is how I could sell Tellarknights: Do you know Delteros's floating effect when he is simply sent to GY allows you to summon any Tellarknight monster from the deck? And do you know that effect is NOT once per turn? Invest in Tellarknights now, because the deck will only get better with more unique cards Delteros can summon in the future.
Tellarknight has exactly one good card and it skips your opponents turn but then you are unable to OTK because a lot of their cards limits damage options. Like at that point it’s just a burn deck, a bad one
Okay hear me out: Runick Sacred Beast. The sacred beasts end on a hamon that cant be tragetes or destroyed, along with an S:P that can't be targeted for attacks because of hamon, the trap card just reads "win the game" if you stick it, and with the runick engine you can bait handtraps and get more points of disuption. Also with their new summoning beast you have consistent access to armityle for easy otks. Also if you open well you can easily draw 8 cards + 1 for turn + ~4 more searched cards.
We're missing out on the Abyss Actors blind 2nd market. The funny combo starter Extras needs opponents monsters, Abyss King has never heard of a once per turn. Nice Amblowhale dummy, Just steal it with Comic Relief! And if you're in Master Duel, Electrumite is sitting right there Also I guess you can just lock them with Amorphage Goliath by summoning it off of Director if you're insane.
Glad to see another Infernoble enjoyer. Been playing that with the Flame Swordsman engine because I feel like worse case scenario, atleast you got an extra monster in the grave that can equip to monsters for Turpin to be live
I’m playin VW, and it works pretty well. Space for 11 ht’s pre-side, while still consistently ending on something like Crystal Wing, slurp from the armored XYZ line, chuche, and sometimes Baronne, plus whatever you have left in hts. No to mention it has the flexibility to go into something like Wollow or Ptolemy M7, or even something like totem bird if you have material left. You can also sometimes Zeus or Typhon turbo
@@arobnugzo6818 I haven’t been doing that, but you could I suppose. But that’s just as degenerate as the every other duel against branded puppet lock I play so
@@FrostReave actually, it usually only makes one negate and you play no floodgates. You’re ending on something like a suck? A crystal wing negate, Chuche pop, and then maybe big sword soul man for lord of carried interaction. You could also choose to go for Wollow or M7 depending on the matchup, or even totem bird. You can always also end on shen shen, who’s not too bad against snake eyes lol
Honestly by far the biggest issue with isolde-less infernoble is that it loses to all the same counters and non engine as snake eye and fire king snake eye. Its essentially the same deck with a higher ceiling but more fragile and has less non engine space available. Sad part is the deck has incredible grind game, charles alone is a +3 every end phase and there could be a fairer funner version of the deck but any hand that establishes you advanatage loops could also instead put up 8 interactions so why would you.
Masked Beast Des Gardius! . . . In The duel links legacy duel format that's currently happening It made me realize 70% of players completely forgot how Des Gardius just steals whatever monster you destroy it with. Daedalus's, pop Umi and pop the rest of the board doesn't save it from the mask, beating over Des Gardius doesn't stop the mask Even soul exchange doesn't work unless you set the monster
Evil eye: Did you gamble today? Do you want to go big or go home? Are you a masochist? Well then evil eye is the deck for you. We got an edgy goth anime gf. A twink that did nothing wrong like Griffith. Beatsticks that's a double edged sword. You will sacrifice your life points constantly proving life is just a number. We're one of the few equip decks that exists. Best of all we're the most based eye deck instead of being a soy snake eyes deck.
Also our best card Unleashed (foolish burial and fb goods as a cost) is like a common, the cards are dirt cheap, you'd mostly pay money for Extra Deck Rank 3 monster to go into another strategy like Gold Pride or Goblins
The format's in a weird spot right now where most stuff that would smash through Snake Eye's only medium level of interactions dies to Droll, and most things that play through/around Droll well are our turn/hypercontrol decks that generally are slightly losing or worse against Snake Eye. Generally speaking Evenly is pretty good against Snake Eye, but there's not a standout archetypal counter atm. Maybe full Deck > GY dump decks making Winda? I think New Lightsworn will match up pretty well when it releases as a capable aggro deck that can play through Nib and Droll (probably not both at once though) with alright boardbreaking potential, and with Mayakashi lock legal, the benchmark for going first boardstates is absurdly low. Designator Trap coming out lets Foolish Burial Goods be an extra copy of 1-card Droll blank (extra good because you can plus off it instead if you also draw prohibition), which will probably lead to deep draw ftks being the best type of deck in the format. Honestly I think Nadir Servant Blasting the Ruins might be the best one considering the current tcg banlist, but it's hard to say.
Actually, best deck's probably going to be Drytron. With the new Arcana Force card that discards to grab Light Barrier; Drytron now has a 3 card FTK shell that's insanely consistent, that they can easily side out going 2nd and then just play normally. New Ritual Monster Negate also means they can afford to grab Purple Light for insulating The World over Orange, and also means they dont need to worry about having enough board material for the Herald Link 2, or saving Orange for later. After all that it's just a matter of blanking to Droll, of which there's more counterplay now.
Windwitch-Gusto's been doing me wonders against the one guy that managed to afford Snake-Eyes at my local. Plays through an insane number of disruptions because both archetypes use the normal summon as extra extension now, can access Appolousa, Baronne, and Crystal Wing turn one with extra materials for whatever else if going first, bounces the opponents entire field back to deck going second, makes the level 11 Speedroid motorcycle thing for style when your opponent runs outta interaction, and when in doubt you can make the Gusto level 6 and crash all your small things Mikanko-style. It's like EARTH Machine, but with a better extra deck and the ability to still be threatening even if you don't get to the full end board.
The funny thing about Vanquished Soul too is it just went undefeated at a Regional and top 4d another one. VS is a deck that will always get my respect.
About Photon Galaxy! Been playing it on MD ladder and honestly, Hyper Galaxy to out Apollosa, can even chain block the search for it and then after playing some you can just dunk Princess with like a 11500 attack monster! Them searching follow-up doesn’t mean much if you One Punch them! XD But no, it’s not great but it has a place!
Inzektors. Make them shuffle and cut after every search and summon. They can't win if you go first and play for 45 minutes paying solitaire and burn them with cowboy along the way
Labrynthament (Or Tearla-brynth) Tear cards mill transaction rollback alongside labrynth furniture, clock, and big welcomes. You play 3 needlebug nest to copy with rollback for extra consistency, and can reset it with lovely. Great mid range and ability to play on the opponent's turn with all of the labrynth cards as well as tear. You can continuously reset tear kash with big welcome so you always have the ability to mill 3 cards.
I found that 1 needlebug is sufficient, your gonna be grabbing it off lady or resetting it from gy with lovely anyway, and muckracker synergizes really well with any random tear card stuck in your hand. You just simply don't play welcome so your not fiend locked and try to make kaleidoheart if you do get locked by muckracker.
@@frig7014 3 is mostly just for consistency. You're playing two engines with little non engine so getting to the point where you can play isn't always that easy. Also yes I do not play welcome, the lab package is just 1 lovely, 1 lady, 4 furniture and a cooclock, and then the 3 big welcome. This deck also can use needlebug as an ability to play on the opponent's turn for interaction so it's not actually that bad to draw.
Evil Eye, especially in master duel. Ignores Maxx "C", plays around nibiru, brute forces through ash blossom and imperm, either resistant or outright immune to most floodgates, and it sets up anywhere from 4 to 7 disruptions depending on the opening hand. Searches out its own negation-proof counter trap and double-compulse, and can either outright negate or play around evenly matched. The engine is big, but not so big that you can't run a bunch of power and tech cards. Usually makes unbreakable boards, but I've been able to OTK opponents with a single Serziel by pivoting and adding a bunch of spells instead of traps. Only weakness IMO is the lack of recovery. It has some options, but the deck tends to commit with no looking back.
Nadir Centur-Ion is my current list. 3 Nadir + 1 Maximus gives you the ability to Calamity on your opp's draw phase with only 3 summons instead of waiting for the M1 and using 4 to 5. After making Legatia: 1. Nadir for Max sending Garura, draw 1. 2. Banish Garura for Max. 3. Max send Packbit + Omega 4. Packbit places itself in S/T 5. EP; Legatia places Primera in ST 6. Opp's DP; Packbit effect summoning Primera. 7. Sync Primera and Max into Crimson Dragon. Alternatively, you could run either Eccelsia + Fleur or Quem + Cartesia and Luluwilith in the extra to send with Max to have some other options during opp's turn. Either a non-targeting monster negate with Fleur; or access to a lvl 4 Tuner on board so you can keep Prime in the S/T to protect Legatia.
War Rock: They have no plays going 1st, they can't break boards going 2nd, they can't ftk, they can otk on a good day, and can do a really jank version of control. But what they can do well is out resourcing your opponent by using the combat phase to dodge interaction... assuming they can even make it to the combat phase.
Ok but like actually, Dark World. Even if you’re not playing for a handloop, Dark World is really good at making rank 8s and 4s. On a related note, read Abyss Dweller and Sanaphond. Or if you’re not going against a GY deck, make Harbinger or Photon Lord. Best part is you can slap these on TOP of a handloop. Plus, dark world is surprisingly consistent with the new(ish) search spell. Yeah, you don’t have, like, any room for non-engine, but who needs non engine when you’re playing Solitaire?
My usual weird deck is Generaider Live Twins. The Live Twins cover the need of a normal summon outside of Loptr, and can go into either Trouble Sunny for interruption, or just an Unchained Abomination for a big body
When you do the factor ad and say keto you need to say "aketooo". Also as a personal chef who listens to these while I work the factor ads feel like a personal attack on my job lol
I play redeyes kashtira--its got a burn ftk, can absolutely print 7s by moving between flare metal and shangri ira for whatever links or rank 7s you want or can move thru And its got kashtira stuff! (Also hop ear->shenshen at the drop of a hat and ariseheart makes grave decks cry)
Put the FLOOD in floodgate with ALO-Kairyu-Shin You can also add in some sharks for easy rank 3 to 5 XYZ but the main thing is setting up Kairyu with a lengendary ocean then go into Mega Fortress Whale for the OTK
Honestly this. It feels Konami has been printing a lot of cards that look like they're designed to be obnoxious or crazy good (Snake-Eyes engine, Tearlaments with the Ishizu cards, Kashtira, etc.), without thinking how they would affect the game state. The fact that we got another tier 0 format not too long after the last one is the writing on the wall.
Ninjas. Not only do they get around Fire King by not destroying stuff, they get around Snake Eyes by stranding them facedown. Plus they have 15 non engine slots for tailored hand traps.
Allow me to introduce you to my iron scarecrow, man eating bug, spirit reaper book of the moon deck... yes I haven't touched the game since gradeschool how can you tell?
For those that dont know, a single vaylantz field spell outs like 80% of the snake-eye FK set up. Is so funny seeing them panic the moment you declare MP1 activate shinra bansho
I'm a galaxy-eyes enjoyer. It's quite fun to play since you can go first without sacrificing your ability to otk. Plus, due to galaxy hundred, you can banish cards out of your opponent's extra deck or steal number monsters. Horus lives in fear.
The year was 2022, as a yugi boomer I had not paid the game any attention since the 5Ds era, and even then my only experience with it was from a 2009 DS game, and then MasterDuel was released, a FTP game on PC I could re live my childhood with? sign me up. MD was a shock to the system, XYZ? Link? PENDULUM??? it was a steep learning curve that I nearly gave up on, and then I found it. One card with just its smug smiling character caught my attention, *trapped* me if you will. it was Traptrix Rafflesia, which lead me to the rest, an entire archetype of adorable yet infuriating smug little sh1ts. I must have them. I'll be real, going second this deck struggles to make significant plays when your opponent has already set up. But going first this deck is a menace and can give most copy pasted meta decks of the month a run for their money. Being an archetype that does not heavily rely on GY effects you can comfortably sully the board with a Soul Drain and bully them with traps to your hearts content while also using Pinguicula to absorb any would be problems should soul drain get removed.
Remember the classic normal monsters from your childhood, dark blade, tri horned dragon and ghost from the attic, well, mu friend, they're back! With new and complementing effects to summon a beast made of the memories of the fallen, memento are simple to play and it will make them realize that the past is still alive!
I'm glad someone else went to bat for Fluffals. I am addicted to that deck and wanted to tweet about it, but I am not skilled enough to defend it on the forum floor. If the best he can say is "just play solitare" then the deck can't he that bad, can it? ;)
Vaylantz is a good deck vs snake eyes. Directly counters things like flamberge putting your monsters into the spell/trap zone, field spell that gets rid of the snake eye one. Also get to move their monsters as spells and bounce em with the fusion to burn some and gain atk.
Fluffal is one of those decks that few people know how to play well, it can break boards going second and OTK, or build an unbreakable board going first. EARTH Machine is another deck that is close, if there was a link one that could add urgent schedule to the hand this deck would be unstoppable. Otherwise is just pretty good in the right hands.
Skill Drain EARTH Machines is the way to gooooooo. Very funny to just keep summoning big bois and Regulus unde Skill D just to trigger them all in GY until your opponent quits out of frustration, OR remove the SD with Anger Knuckle GY eff and otk.. Hilarious stuff
Hear me out, its not good, but I have fun. Bystial Saffira. In Master Duel, you have enough Bystials to tribute for the Saffira while recycling light hand traps. The bystial spells and traps really set up a hell of a grind game. Fill it out with Albaz/Quem/Cartesia for either fusion or synchros (Chaos Angel). Sit happily in Gold.
I replied to the twitter thread but a bit late so ill bring up my umi horus here So you might be wondering What is the synergy? Well A few things Firstly it provides the 1 non-water monster which, once we umi lock, blocks non-gameciel kaijus and nibiru (when relevent) Secondly they give the deck more recursion Thirdly access to the rank 8 toolbox, specifically the vampire zombie, which, if we didnt draw kairyushin, we can use to mill top 4 in hopes for either getting it or ice barrier Other notable rank 8s is dingirsu, exblowrer, the target negate heliop, number 38, and number 90 Fourth gives another way to summon kairyu by simply tributing one of them to summon himself Fifth if they out a card duamutef (who is water btw) draws us cards (and if you keep hapy you can also pull the card they outed out of the grave/banish) Sixth a better way to play through droll And lastly, lets us toss ice barrier to the grave if we draw it by accident Duamutef also works as the SSA banish fodder which was normally filled by the normal water monster And SSA also help them by protecting sarc
Witchcrafter runick spellbook is a deck that summons madame verre and jowgen 100% of the time. We then play the game with our hands revealed and our cards cant die and our opp cant summon. We dodge every hand trap except droll, win by runick deck out but scoop frame 1 if our opponents are on any kash cards.
Burning Abyss: what's better than resolving zeus? Getting a million grave effects and recursion in the process Never going neg off of activating forbidden droplet Con: scoops to shifter and macro type effects
so dunno how the match up is (I faced one snake eyes in gold on master duel) but I love love love Shaddoll+witchcrafter having winda and verre on the field at the same time feels unbeatable most the time. plus Aruru and vice Madame and to top it off because of the 1,3, and 4 level witch crafters you could still use some of those niche shaddoll fusions when they come up
Scareclaw, 20 1 card starters, we can turn off Links and Flamberge can’t out Tri-Heart and you can throw in a Kashtira engine for more interruptions and make stuff like Big Eye and Red-Eyes Flare Metal for time, and on mater duel you can easily end on tri-heart and arise-heart
this so called "snake eyes format" seems to be hated for it's lake of diversity... well I hope you'll like the diversity of burn format in like 6 months, where everyone will be running there favorite FTK's. predicted finals: puppets vs volcanics
I've been having some decent luck against Fire King/Snake-eye with my Marincess deck. Can even do the "June Moon" line to get out a Barrier Statue of the Torrent that ruins their day.
Reptile pile but 60 card resource loop a ton end on both big ogdoadics cosmic slicer and m frame for virus tribute, slot in trap tracks (whichever the name of the one that destroys a monster to set the trap) and venominaga, is it perfect? No but discards infinite combos inability to be hand trapped monster negates and if they decide to discard poplar to set up their own plays you discard
5:58 I was late to the thread, so I couldn't make it for a deeper Plunder Shill player. You can deal with SE very well. But only if you are on Runick variants. Why? Plunder: - Lys and Blackeyes do NOT give a damn about what your Plunders are treated as in the S/T zone. Flamberge? Who cares. Not to mention they can't SS any cheated Ship, but you can at least bounce them for Shipyarrd eff (luckily for them the order is Set then bounce, otherwise the deck could be doing this all day). - Most of your disruption tools BANISH so they either force an Ash or Droll. - Booty can mess up with the player if they don't run Amblowhale by making Promethean anything but Fire and forcing Hiita instead of Phoenix into Zealantis or... you force Promethean to not target Amblowhale if they are on it. Runick: - Inevitability as the wincon. Either deckout or grind them into kill mode with the ships. - Extra tools to boardbreak if they win the die roll. - Extra protection if it's SEFK. Issues: - Floo makes you cry (any Shifter deck does that but that one also attribute hurts you so bad and kills Blackbeard). - Voiceless Voice players that can mask the tech they are using are scary. Do they go with Superpoly or Brafu? The first one makes Jord a lose-con. The latter makes Phantazmay useless. - Very small space for non-engine. You have 6-9 spaces to non-engine. And you might need to dedicate 2-3 to Talents and the rest to high impact handtraps (Nib-Droll). So some handtraps (Crow, Meister) might be skipped or sided.
0:07 BEN 10 REFERENCE?! 4:25 I had a chance to Buy the Base Dogmatika .... And didn't because I thought "I still have Time".... And now I regret it now that people want it again
50 card Cyber Dragon Spright. X-0 against snake-eyes at YCS Sydney. 13 one card starters with countless 2 card combos and 18 non engine. Can play under shifter and the end board consists of multiple interactions including negates and removal. Has good follow up if the board gets broken too.
The only blue eyes deck I ever struggled with was when someone threw a bunch of floodgates in and had three on board every single time they went first.
@Thatsnotgonnawork oh lol. Yeah I feel that's the only way it could probably stand up. First time I played tho they did kinda set themselves up for failure because I had a full board and they flipped skill drain before doing anything and so it resulted in a slow burn of they normal summon, I beat over it.
All this shade on my boy Blue-Eyes... Blue-Eyes Horus is so good right now, it's being slept on so much right now. With different avenues to go into either synchro plays or the rank 8 XYZ toolbox, and Links such as I:P, S:P, and BLS SoC, not to mention the stones used as discard for free real estate, this deck can really compete. Can mainboard floodgates like SKILL DRAIN and TCOBO AND SUMMON LIMIT. Blue-Eyes has been good and will always stand the trial of time.
Ghostricks with no field spell, instead you use 3x Terrors in the Hidden City. if u do need to run a field spell only 1x copy of mansion. 1x swords of concealing, dauruma canon for links and unaffecteds. fright night, 1 or 2 kaiju or subterror umasteryx.
Im surprised nobody mentioned Vaylantz. It has an interesting gimmick that also sets up multiple negates, a DPE, a steal, and floodgates without committing to the normal summon, and all of the cards are like a dollar. It even plays through imperm and goddamn Evenly Matched
NGL, the Swordsoul Vanquish Soul list we saw awhile ago on Dueltaining really makes me wanna try some sort of fire package in the deck to give it some more versatility. Would be insane if you could make it mesh. Also, having way too much fun with Generaider thanks to the new releases we've been getting recently. Spirit of Yubel is so nice for starting plays while also blocking handtraps and activating Boss Stage with Trickstar Reincarnation is just dumb fun
the deck that i posted for this thread is snake eye mikanko(ik its not perfect due to having the snake eye stuff but listen) one normal summon ash gets you 1-2 herald of the arc light(insane against fire king since everything goes from hand/deck to grave) princess ohime spiritwalk flamberge floating effect princess in grave amblowhale insane grind via renaud 14 non engine able to atleast set up huli pass which can be hard for some decks to out in combination with spiritwalk
Abyss Actors have got some teeth this format. They play around hand traps and board breakers pretty but it's got one or two obvious weakness that keep it held back.
Ok so hear me out, You play speedroids and summon crystal clear wing synchro dragon, and your opponent loses because they crystal clear is unaffected by literally everything they can do. Spells like Raigeki & dark hole are negated, & as soon as your opponent activates an effect, he becomes immune.
Lately I’ve been testing Nemleria and I’m surprised at how I’ve been doing with it. I’m juuuuust about to get max lv in MDs duelist cup with it and, while I haven’t tested it against TCG Snake-Eye yet, I did play a match against a friend at locals on Voiceless and 2-0ed them. The deck can play upwards of 19-20 non-engine (although more like 16-17 since Eater of Millions is basically honorary engine) and, while I haven’t played it in my builds yet, I’ve realized that the deck can 100% play Shifter
Also, the deck is very budget friendly. Everything in engine is only common or super, a lot of good non engine stuff like hand traps are commons in structure decks and/or got reprints in RC, and the deck very rarely uses the extra, so you don’t need to shill out a bunch of money in ED staples. The only thing I’ve found myself doing with the extra so far is an occasional Accesscode line and very occasionally Gustav and Liebe, but even then those aren’t really necessary to run.
Ok hears my pitch for ancient warriors. 1: they have a lock, 2: they worked pretty well va year since 2/3 of their main extenders returned to hand / ed, and 3: they have good functionality with kaijus
Late, and also probably not beating Snake-Eyes as-is, but I am taking the excuse to go off on my pet deck. Dark Magician has legit held the same relative power level for 4 years straight (AKA how long I've been playing modern). The specific way it triggers its most common form of removal is fairly nonstandard, it can be extremely difficult to remove (especially since nobody ever reads both Dark Magician the Dragon Knight *and* Eternal Soul to realize they just need to swing over DMtDK and pop Eternal Soul before it comes back), is playable with some other spellcaster tech(Secret Village anyone?), and generally just makes a great toolbox that consistently threatens meta... when it can actually go off. Because it's also nonstandard in how you actually get the cards you need, and you often have to run it at 45-ish cards to pack in enough search and draw power to be remotely competent. The deck is just one competent searcher off from being able to run 37 + 3 Upstart and becoming consistently rogue though. (HINT HINT KONAMI)
Okay hear me out. People complaining that the game is immediately over if you let snakes eyes play, but if you play aroma, with the amount of life you gain you’ll die in 2 turns instead of 1
I still main lyrilusc tri. end board is apex avian, draco future, and ensemble robin with at least 3 cards under, and if I got lucky harpies feather storm. One Omni, one monster negate with potential to steal and three or more bounces.

1:09 What is this cultural appropriation shirt?!
I found out that it works wonderful to use Snake Eyes + Vaylenz!
Cubic is based because it requires your opponent to read but most chose not to
Also to add to this go ahead send seed to the back row I'll just resummon it from said backrow
Same with Yubel. I went 4-2 at a regional and won a side event, and every single win was basically "Oops, I didn't read your cards and now I have to attack your dude and I lose."
The only card they need ro read is Crimson Nova
Me when I play Endymion.
Tbh I often lose to cubic more bcs of I don't have an out rather than I don't read.
My current strategy is "counting on no one at my locals being willing to spend enough to build Snake Eye." It hasn't failed me yet.
My locals have 4 or 5 fire decks at least consistently. I run lab just to have a chance right now
That’s why I’d rather spend money on a Horus engine with Orcust or runick to piss of snake eye players
galaxy photon is based because it’s like “what if blue eyes was better in every possible way and also space themed”
like it’s got
-good combo starts
-able to play around stuff decently
-consistent easy protection in the form of starliege photon blast dragon
-punches things so hard they explode
and all you have to do is not brick and then not get interrupted more than like twice haha
Or don’t get nib
Man i love war rocks
it also got kash unicorn on a spell YEP
@@davidjimenez3822 true, galaxy hundred can completely stuff ppl who only run 1 or 2 copies of their important extra deck monsters
Galaxy photon is better than blue eyes?
You must be playing against some truly abysmal blue eyes players. (Which is 100% believable.)
Blue eyes absolutely demolishes Galaxy in the hands of a competent player.
No negates? What?
To be fair it CAN make baronne. Sometimes.
The ursarctic main deck monsters (except ursatron) can be normal summoned, so you can not in fact play them with drytron.
super solid deck
But can they play around nibiru?
wait, what does Deep Sea Diva accomplish in this deck? I'm curious
I wish I saw the thread. My Phantom Knights Burning Abyss Adventure Goblin Horus Punk deck goes crazy if no one interrupts me.
Your what deck
It's a shitton of level 3 starters/extenders that uses horus for a fast negate/GY dumps to turn on PK/BA/Adventure engines to end on multiple varied points of interaction (XYZ armor succ/3-mat Apollo/1-2 fog blades, and additional things depending on what the opponent plays and what you open, e.g. griffon negate, PUNK negate, XYZ armor board negate, XYZ dragon rank up pop)
TBH, I'm still working on the goblin part. I find that I often have excess XYZ mats at times, so I am working out how many and which goblins I can fit in without losing consistency.
Yeah all gas baby
Oh shit, I thought you were just being silly.
So is every deck.
You got any replay?
*No.*
So insanely BASED
Okay now hear me out, what if...when your opponent activates any snake eyes or fire king cards, you just asking to read the effect, then chuck the card across the room...it's a bold strategy, but might work.
And then when they go to pick up their card, you hide their deck and claim that they lose by deckout. Brilliant!
Or just use Eka the flame buddy
Ah the Weevil Strat
Here's the thing, if we all do it, Konami can't ban us all. If we all just pay off the judges and do this to all of the snakes eyes players, who's gonna stop us? The only thing Konami can do is ban all of the snake eyes so this stops happening.
@@Celestia282 if you throw it far enough, maybe they can lose on time
Okay, but don't forget to turn that Melffy Mommy into an Expurrely Noir once you suck up enough beasts.

you know what's hilarious?
seeing your opponent's reaction when you activate bonefire but search volcanic trooper and then proceed to activate eldlich the golden lord's effect, discarding itself and blaze accelerator reload

Synchrons, look as long as you're going first a good build for the deck can still give you an okay end bored without needing much. Also if you include Red Supernova Dragon you have the ability to banish everything whenever they activate a monster effect from anywhere.
ya got Crimson Dragon in the TCG?
@@fourfours9928 it's in the TCG

Shove runic in it.
another Melffy truther
and while Pinny is very cute, it should be mentioned that Fenny is also adorable
Volcanic is kinda crazy NGL. There's a pilot at my locals and the deck consistently blows my mind in how resilient it is, and how much it does from seemingly nowhere
Yeah sounds like a Snake Eye deck.
Crazy how consistent this deck is now. Still no Konami Bomb Tokens or holographic scattershots though :(
I planned on building volcanic but the bonfire pricetag ruined it for me
Here is how I could sell Tellarknights:
Do you know Delteros's floating effect when he is simply sent to GY allows you to summon any Tellarknight monster from the deck? And do you know that effect is NOT once per turn?
Invest in Tellarknights now, because the deck will only get better with more unique cards Delteros can summon in the future.
just do the ftk with ptolemaeus. don't ask about droll or nibiru though
Is it from field or anywhere? If so can you send it with ultimate slayer for example to pop 1 and extend?
@@zaleww5824 it has to be field to gy
Tellarknight has exactly one good card and it skips your opponents turn but then you are unable to OTK because a lot of their cards limits damage options. Like at that point it’s just a burn deck, a bad one
I think we all have the one person that just wont let madolche go and brings it up as meta every single format lol
Yes. Because that person is me.
Madolche kicks ass wym

My Anti-Madolche crusade begins today.
Real
Okay hear me out:
Runick Sacred Beast.
And if you're in Master Duel, Electrumite is sitting right there
Also I guess you can just lock them with Amorphage Goliath by summoning it off of Director if you're insane.
It’s not exactly a deck I would want to go second with. Is it’s endbaords really that bad?
3:14 so that's how they made the breaking block sound in Minecraft!
Glad to see another Infernoble enjoyer. Been playing that with the Flame Swordsman engine because I feel like worse case scenario, atleast you got an extra monster in the grave that can equip to monsters for Turpin to be live
Blue Eyes is in the thumbnail as a meme but is actually a good pick ~6 months later....
OK hear me out Appliancers and Kaijus can OTK......... I call it death by a salesman.
Goddammit, and I thought I was clever coming up with Fluffal/Frightfur Albaz Predaplant.
Y'know, FAP.
And here I go making this on Master Duel on an alt now.
All nice options nobody will see anyway cuz they left after you skipped their turn with Beatrice into Mayakshi+Rollback
@@arobnugzo6818 I haven’t been doing that, but you could I suppose. But that’s just as degenerate as the every other duel against branded puppet lock I play so
Amazing its great what you can do when negate and floodgate spamming. No one tell him about the banlist
At least you don’t lose 100% to 1 Kaiju. Exo bro’s are in shambles
Voiceless Nouvelles, of you target any monster for attack or card effect, you can non target tribute. 50 card all gas no brakes and a prayer
And when they resolve a niche card called Ash Blossom? Or doesn’t target anything because they can read?
Masked Beast Des Gardius!
. . . In The duel links legacy duel format that's currently happening
It made me realize 70% of players completely forgot how Des Gardius just steals whatever monster you destroy it with. Daedalus's, pop Umi and pop the rest of the board doesn't save it from the mask, beating over Des Gardius doesn't stop the mask
Even soul exchange doesn't work unless you set the monster
Evil eye: Did you gamble today? Do you want to go big or go home? Are you a masochist? Well then evil eye is the deck for you. We got an edgy goth anime gf. A twink that did nothing wrong like Griffith. Beatsticks that's a double edged sword. You will sacrifice your life points constantly proving life is just a number. We're one of the few equip decks that exists. Best of all we're the most based eye deck instead of being a soy snake eyes deck.
Alternatively, now's your chance to be a B I G S H O T
We even got an actual fucking snake instead of some dragon (who would even run that smh)
Also our best card Unleashed (foolish burial and fb goods as a cost) is like a common, the cards are dirt cheap, you'd mostly pay money for Extra Deck Rank 3 monster to go into another strategy like Gold Pride or Goblins
@@wiewio8035 Of course why would you do that when the serotonin option of two-hit beater that WILL die is right there
"A twink that did nothing wrong like Griffith."
Yes, Officer Mirrorjade. This commenter right here.
It's still Wild Snake eyes can do full combo under Droll to me
Actually, best deck's probably going to be Drytron.
XD
But no, it’s not great but it has a place!
Inzektors. Make them shuffle and cut after every search and summon. They can't win if you go first and play for 45 minutes paying solitaire and burn them with cowboy along the way
Labrynthament (Or Tearla-brynth)
Tear cards mill transaction rollback alongside labrynth furniture, clock, and big welcomes.
Oh my god I just realized this is just YIAY but for Yugioh
lmao you're 100% right. No wonder I love watching these so much.
After making Legatia:
1. Nadir for Max sending Garura, draw 1.
2. Banish Garura for Max.
3. Max send Packbit + Omega
4. Packbit places itself in S/T
5. EP; Legatia places Primera in ST
I love the "Tenpai but bad" deck too
Can it out-resource Snake Eyes? Cause like that’s literally it’s strongest trait
@FrostReave I seriously doubt it. Though there's no way we're going to find out since snake eyes will win, turn 1
Ok but hear me out, play ancient gear, go second, and then punch your opponent in the face three times (four if you’re lucky) and win.
That sounds like a really cool and resilient deck that can take on the meta! Anyways, chain Droll, response?
My usual weird deck is Generaider Live Twins. The Live Twins cover the need of a normal summon outside of Loptr, and can go into either Trouble Sunny for interruption, or just an Unchained Abomination for a big body
When you do the factor ad and say keto you need to say "aketooo". Also as a personal chef who listens to these while I work the factor ads feel like a personal attack on my job lol

Put the FLOOD in floodgate with ALO-Kairyu-Shin
You can also add in some sharks for easy rank 3 to 5 XYZ but the main thing is setting up Kairyu with a lengendary ocean then go into Mega Fortress Whale for the OTK

Laundry Dragonmaid and her best friend Eldlich can beat anything through the power of friendship.
Exosister because we will just draw and resolve Shifter
I replied to the twitter thread but a bit late so ill bring up my umi horus here
So you might be wondering
What is the synergy?
Well
A few things
Firstly it provides the 1 non-water monster which, once we umi lock, blocks non-gameciel kaijus and nibiru (when relevent)
Secondly they give the deck more recursion
Thirdly access to the rank 8 toolbox, specifically the vampire zombie, which, if we didnt draw kairyushin, we can use to mill top 4 in hopes for either getting it or ice barrier
Other notable rank 8s is dingirsu, exblowrer, the target negate heliop, number 38, and number 90
Fourth gives another way to summon kairyu by simply tributing one of them to summon himself
Fifth if they out a card duamutef (who is water btw) draws us cards (and if you keep hapy you can also pull the card they outed out of the grave/banish)
Sixth a better way to play through droll
And lastly, lets us toss ice barrier to the grave if we draw it by accident
Duamutef also works as the SSA banish fodder which was normally filled by the normal water monster
And SSA also help them by protecting sarc
Witchcrafter runick spellbook is a deck that summons madame verre and jowgen 100% of the time. We then play the game with our hands revealed and our cards cant die and our opp cant summon. We dodge every hand trap except droll, win by runick deck out but scoop frame 1 if our opponents are on any kash cards.
Madolche. Non-targeting non-targeting non-hard once per turn, Gy manipulation, destruction protection, battle protection, monster effect protection.
Madolche Verny.
Gravekeeper's will forever be my pitch. Can't have graveyard problems if it's locked behind a big fucking wall of no.
Burning Abyss: what's better than resolving zeus? Getting a million grave effects and recursion in the process
Never going neg off of activating forbidden droplet
Con: scoops to shifter and macro type effects
so dunno how the match up is (I faced one snake eyes in gold on master duel) but I love love love Shaddoll+witchcrafter having winda and verre on the field at the same time feels unbeatable most the time. plus Aruru and vice Madame and to top it off because of the 1,3, and 4 level witch crafters you could still use some of those niche shaddoll fusions when they come up
You gotta appreciate the irony of reach out to the truth from persona four playing in the background.
I give high praise to the editor on that one
Scareclaw, 20 1 card starters, we can turn off Links and Flamberge can’t out Tri-Heart and you can throw in a Kashtira engine for more interruptions and make stuff like Big Eye and Red-Eyes Flare Metal for time, and on mater duel you can easily end on tri-heart and arise-heart
this so called "snake eyes format" seems to be hated for it's lake of diversity... well I hope you'll like the diversity of burn format in like 6 months, where everyone will be running there favorite FTK's. predicted finals: puppets vs volcanics
"Were so close to destroying YGO." I see it more as this will get those idiots at Konami America to give us a decent ban list for once.
Flamberge Dragon doesn't scare me if I just Water Arabesque it away!!
5:58 I was late to the thread, so I couldn't make it for a deeper Plunder Shill player. You can deal with SE very well. But only if you are on Runick variants. Why?
Plunder:
- Lys and Blackeyes do NOT give a damn about what your Plunders are treated as in the S/T zone. Flamberge?
Runick:
- Inevitability as the wincon. Either deckout or grind them into kill mode with the ships.
- Extra tools to boardbreak if they win the die roll.
- Extra protection if it's SEFK.
Issues:
- Floo makes you cry (any Shifter deck does that but that one also attribute hurts you so bad and kills Blackbeard).
"infernoid can beat snake eye" brother hasn't seen the snake eye infernoid shit
0:07 BEN 10 REFERENCE?!
4:25 I had a chance to Buy the Base Dogmatika .... And didn't because I thought "I still have Time".... And now I regret it now that people want it again
50 card Cyber Dragon Spright.
X-0 against snake-eyes at YCS Sydney. 13 one card starters with countless 2 card combos and 18 non engine. Can play under shifter and the end board consists of multiple interactions including negates and removal. Has good follow up if the board gets broken too.
I hear that persona 4 music in the background! Excellent taste, Dire.
The only blue eyes deck I ever struggled with was when someone threw a bunch of floodgates in and had three on board every single time they went first.
@Thatsnotgonnawork is it? I don't go against them often. That's the first time one out of the handful I've seen have any.
Skill Drain is literally Blue Eye’s win condition every format fr fr
Pendulum, that's why

NGL, the Swordsoul Vanquish Soul list we saw awhile ago on Dueltaining really makes me wanna try some sort of fire package in the deck to give it some more versatility. Would be insane if you could make it mesh. Also, having way too much fun with Generaider thanks to the new releases we've been getting recently. Spirit of Yubel is so nice for starting plays while also blocking handtraps and activating Boss Stage with Trickstar Reincarnation is just dumb fun
Winda and the shaddoll gang might have a shot...
Ishizu Tearlament can beat Snake-Eyes *cries in banlist*
the deck that i posted for this thread is snake eye mikanko(ik its not perfect due to having the snake eye stuff but listen)
one normal summon ash gets you
1-2 herald of the arc light(insane against fire king since everything goes from hand/deck to grave)
princess
ohime
spiritwalk
flamberge floating effect
princess in grave
amblowhale
insane grind via renaud
14 non engine
able to atleast set up huli pass which can be hard for some decks to out in combination with spiritwalk
Trickstars because there is nothing more satisfying then watching your opponent kill themselves over time with any action they take.
Kozmo with Double Hooking is my favorite deck, with the new psychic machine support its even better. Psychic Processor is crazy in Kozmo
Does MBooTy plan on posting rush duel anytime soon ? Any loyal viewer of his can answer this question ?
0:26 did not expect a reference to The Trial here.
