Spanish Navy Harrier full display (take off to vertical landing) - RIAT 2023 -photography included!!

The McDonnell Douglas AV-8B Harrier II is a single-engine ground-attack aircraft that constitutes the second generation of the Harrier family, capable of vertical or short takeoff and landing (V/STOL). The aircraft is primarily employed on light attack or multi-role missions, ranging from close air support of ground troops to armed reconnaissance.
The Harrier is one of the aircrafts that I really want to see flying since I moved to the UK 3 years ago.

hi mate. great video. just for your info, the nickname for the av8b+ is Cobra, not matador. matador was Av8a only.

Hi mate! thanks for your comment, my infos about aircrafts display is based from the RIAT program. Checking also some facts from the net, both cobra and matador are dubbed for the Spanish harrier, cobras being the first Harrier on the fleet followed by the matador variant. The EAV-8B Matador II is a company designation for the Spanish Navy version. This aircraft which displayed at RIAT is the EAV-8B variant.
