Can a family member still submit the I-864a to joint their income? My nephew who is 26years old is self sufficient, but we share the same residence only. Can he submit I-864a even if I don’t claim him on my tax return? Thanks for your reply.😊
I-864a can only be completed by spouse, parent, siblings or adult child of the sponsor. Please check the form instructions

Hello! When you mentioned that we can add another household members income (4:00). Does that mean its someone thats included in MY house house. Im (24) trying to sponsor my husband. But me and my brother (26, under DACA, not a US citizen) rent an apartment together. So we technically live together, but we are separate household. Would he be able to joint sponser.?

Hey I’m the petitioner and at my husband interview the counselor ask that we submit a joint sponsor but we can’t find one. But if I have just started a new career and started working on April 22, 2024 am I able to submit that income to show I now qualify and if so how do I submit if I haven’t filed that job yet and only have just my paycheck stub?

@@VisaHarmony thank you. Some people says even submitting assets USCIS may not approve it due to based on the USCIS officer if the officer is nice maybe approve easier if the USCIS officer is not nice may wont approve the assets is that really true? Thank you so much
I'm living in Panama and my wife visa is on hold and till i find a second sponsor but I'm a 100 percent permanent and total disabled veteran but they need proof of income and we don't get any proof just the 1095-B from VA. So what can I do? I forgot to mention she had the interview in the U.S. embassy in Panama.

So lets say my household size is 2 and my joint sponsor's household size is 4. Does the joint sponsor have to meet the income requirement of 125% of the poverty guideline for the household size of 2 or 4? I always thought it would be the primary sponsor's household size which would be 2 in this case but you are saying that it is the joint sponsor's household size which in this case is 4?

@@VisaHarmony His income right now is from social security disability it's around 28- 30k a year. But, his last employment was 2018, he doesn't work anymore. The income tax in 2018 was 45k a year. Can we submit the tax income return for 2018? We can't provide recent cause he doesn't work anymore.
@@cannentaway 2018 was 6 years ago. So no you cannot use 2018 income tax documents. Your spouse petitioner will need to prove that he can financially support you in the USA. If he doesn’t have enough income, find a joint sponsor. Please watch our videos on joint sponsors

He did not submit 2022 coz he did not make anything
Now he filed his tax for 2023 he made 67k per year but imigration already asked me to get a joint sponsor, and l have been searching. l cound not find nobody to help .now, can l use my husband's 2023 tax income? That is 67k, but l can only give them 2023 because he went higher because he got a new job with a high salary .

You can submit 2023. Make sure that income is shown as total income

I need some help and your advice! Can you help me out ? My uncle sponsor our family back in 2007. In covid my uncle unfortunately died. In 2022 our lawyer has added a joint sponsor for us. Last year in September we face US embassy in Bangladesh. In US Embassy they demand USCIS approved letter for our joint sponsor. So we apply in USCIS for our joint sponsor a approved letter. So my question is how many days or months it took process our approved letter. We apply for our approved letter almost four months and we are still waiting😢. So can you no exactly how many days or months it tooks.?

Affidavit of support is not required for the K1 visa interview. It will be required for the Adjustment of Status
