Don't Cut it Too Close with Affidavit of Support

- Part of the sponsorship process is that the sponsor for the foreign national has to submit an affidavit of support showing that they make enough money to support the foreign national.
If they are too close to the minimum income required, we suggest they file with a co-sponsor sooner rather than later. It will be harder to get a co-sponsor after the case is filed.

250% above the poverty level? I might as well just forget about it. Since I don't know anyone with that sort of income who is willing to co-sponsor us all of our dreams haven't just been shot down. They were blown out of the sky. Bit thanks for telling us like it is. We don't need any false hopes.
I know the feeling I can't do it because my income is social security dissibilty they say that not true income it's more of a public charge 🤔

What if your tax returns of money you made abroad? I am self emplyoed and make above the 125%. I have 3 tax returns of income made abroad and one year of income made in the US. I am a Personal Trainer and most of my income is checks or cash.

Please sir I need help. I just received news that I do not meet the minimum financial requirements, even though my current yearly income is way above the minimum required, but I am starting this particular job the 4th January. I did submitted my most recent w2 transcript and I think it was a little above the minimum required, I am not sure, my family size is 3; me, my wife, and our son.
I am not sure what I need to do at this time. Please can anyone help me understand.
