I have one, OLIVE, for a year and I adore her. She loves my grandchildren and know all my children. She is kind and her love is always returned 10 fold.
Watching this while cuddling with my maltese and yes, he has separation anxiety. I can't leave him alone for more than one hour. If im out all day I have to leave him in a doggie day care near me. I just can't stop spoiling my little Archie.
I have a Maltese and visits to the groomer are a must. I take her every two months so be prepared for that. It's not so much the heat as the cold that gets to them. I live in a very warm country (Malta to be precise lol...the irony) so walks on hot pavements are bad not just for the Maltese but any dog for that matter. Fortunately they can play indoors because they are small. They make good guard dogs...nothing gets past her lol. She follows me around while I'm dusting for instance lmao.......I have to confine her to her playpen if I intend to wash floors otherwise it never ends and I get nothing done but she's a real darling.
my dog barks but will stop if i growl her, but unlike my foxie she only barks if strangers or other animals enter the property or she wants attention, my foxie will bark at shadows and wont shut up if my maltese starts barking, they say maltese like cats , not mine she chased my flatmates cat away and it never came back
I love❤ my Sammie he is so good looking and full of energy his a great watch 🐶 dog and loves his treats he has a he wants to be the center of attention and has a temper love’s kissing his a great company and a great friend his very playful 😈
If you are away so often I would not recommend to get a dog. It's not an accessoire or a TV to entertain you when you get home. Maltese and all dogs are living, loving and really intelligent creatures. If anything, you can leave a dog up to max 5 hours a day - more (some say 8 hours) is truly too long and cruel. I would also advise you to visit a shelter, these dogs are grateful for a loving home but let them advise you thoroughly as traumatized dogs on the other hand will not do well all alone for so many hours a day. My final advise would be: if you are willing to love and truly care for your dog, that's all they want. They want to BE with you as often as possible, so ask a veterinarian or a shelter to help you (size of your apartment, free time, financial possibility etc) pick the correct breed for you! Loving a dog is honestly the best and most rewarding experience in life. Good luck!

It’s pronounced a-door-able!
Jungkook had this bread
I love that you can find random BTS fans just about anywhere :D and Maltese are so awesome that's why.
So you say they are great with kids, and then you say they are not. Make up your mind mate.
HOW DARE YOU!? THIS IS FALSE INFORMATION!! THE ONLY REASON THEY ARE BARKING , IS BECAUSE THE OWNER IS BAD FOR THEM!!
There is no bad. We like them just the way they are. We don’t want a good dog. I laughed nonstop for 18 years.
Same here!
Maltese are the best ❤️❤️❤️
"Loavable??" "Addurable??"
W in The entire F!!??
