i moved to an island in south finland early spring late fall with weak ice im stuck, i need an airboat but if i understood correctly you guys are no longer making the kits?
yes. i was thinking the same thing you are and did some research and watched some videos and yes they do exceptional over snow and ice. as long as its not too heavy it wont sink in heavy snow. if its just a one person thing you could get away with just useing a predator 670 from harbor freight. wich is what im doing.
We haven’t tried running dry or through mud, but I suspect it wouldn’t do well over those surfaces. A small airdrive like these does well on water, and goes like mad on ice, but doesn’t have enough thrust to push over dry land. You'd need a big airboat for that
If you're looking for max thrust, long tails and surface drives make 2x - 3x more thrust than an air drive for similar hp. A conventional prop or surface piercing prop will always push more weight but can't be used everywhere
No cavitation problems can run in any order can't bust that prop on rocks looks easier to drive to me seems like the Best of both worlds to me
attach a hang glider wing also
starpilot 101 that would be awesome, but I’d probably need a bigger engine

I'm putting a scat rotax 1 cyl setup on a 10 ft any suggestions? Will post video
I’ve been wanting a airboat but I don’t have enough money for a actual airboat so I’m wondering how much would it take for the boat in this video?
$5.800
I'm thinking about doing the same i already have a boat and not sure what they cost but to get a moter and there set up id say around 3 to 4k
maybe consider a long tail Mud Motor
Please give engine specification of 25.hp 4.stroke engine
Will an airboat go through snow? Like 2-3 feet of light snow? Thinking about if I could use it for ice fishing up here in da UP

Some of them can, yes. Just have to keep it lightweight and protect your hull for running over ice.
Have you seen the boat outlaw marine makes it is One of there welded jet boats with airdrive cool and very tough
What reduction is it using?
This one has our standard 1.68:1 reduction drive: banditairdrives.com/product/briggs-kohler-honda-belt-reduction-up-to-25-hp/
@@LoneStarHovercraft awesome, thanks
“That boat guy” has an air boat that he purchased for a rebuild on UA-cam and is needing some help in the right direction

How well do these do over land or mud?

Ummm yes
I you willing to sell or trade any of your air powered boats? (Mini airboats)
Price
We don't make this particular model anymore, but we have prices on the current models at banditairdrives.com
What's the warranty for this 38??
If you guys think his airboat are great maybe check out a long tail Mud Motor way cheaper can you have comparable capability

I have a mud motor but right now the river is so low my prop won’t even get wet. This air boat setup would work great for me right now if I had it
