- What happened to Trentyn Flowers and Louisville basketball. Trentyn Flowers has decided to leave Louisville and play professional basketball in the NBL. AJ Johnson will also be playing in the NBL. Where is Ty-Laur Johnson? Ty-Laur Johnson has not enrolled in Louisville yet and rumors are circulating that he could be ineligible

Not a big loss as people are claiming. Apparently this kid wanted to play PG over Clark but KP said no because he's originally a SF so he got salty about it and left. He sound like a drama queen.
Yea i kinda figured he left because KP wasn't gonna let him play PG. I wish he would of stayed at Louisville tho and tried to make it work
Australian NBL is obviously too tempting considering their impressive record developing Next stars into NBA player's so fast.
Just check out how many top prospects that decided to go to the NBL & have been drafted since the Australian NBL Next stars program began. I honestly think that was the catalyst for NBA in starting the G league ignite as a direct result in competition to the NBL Next stars program success.
College basketball is poorly played professional basketball. They hide behind a facade of amateur status. The kid decided it was in his best professional interest to play in Australia. Might work. Might not. Russ Smith stayed four years under tutelage of Rick Pitino, a great basketball coach with serious character flaws. So who know how his NBA career will go.
