I’m in the I’ll watch anything you produce group. Your advice is good for others but you have the personality to thrive in this new AI gen world sticking with the formula that makes you great. Don’t overthink it just keep producing Streamlit content that makes viewers better Streamlit-ers.
Thanks for the support, very grateful! I'm still trying to understand what formula makes me great 😁 I guess that's where the overthinking comes from, and the only thing that makes me confident I'm on the correct path are comments like yours so thanks!
thank you very much! you are the pioneer and we are following you, you are not alone on this, as the data scientists, we are all facing the same issues you are discussing in here.
Dude, you are totally safe, imo! I don’t even use streamlit or python, I watch to study your ‘teaching style’. You are top edutainer on the internet! You gonna be fine) Edit: You could easily pivot to tensorflow/langchain/autogen/crewAI and make people laugh while they are learning as a side effect!
Thanks you two, appreciate it! I do wonder how you found my channel / decided to watch a video / follow me if you're not in the Python world 😆!? Yeah I could probably niche up to general AI / web dev / cloud with more time and energy, when I'm more confident with my way and convinced more people watch for the teaching style of any topic rather than just for solving Streamlit problems 😁 so again thanks for your support, I'm very grateful
I think writing a prompt to generate a web GUI for a data app would take longer and would harder to write than the several lines of Streamlit script it takes now
I tend to agree with this for now 🙂 waiting for that one startup that will change my mind Have you seen this prompt to Streamlit app btw ua-cam.com/video/4GO3XxVHFxw/v-deo.html ? That may be a best of both worlds ahah
I don't think gen AI web apps will replace streamlit in corporations, because they need control over details, the web app needs to be replicable and there needs to be certainty that there are no security, UX and UI holes. All of that can only be achieved by looking under the hood. Sure, for freelance coders there might be value in gen AI web apps, but I think it will still be a fringe minority in the world of Data Science.
I definitely agree with GenAI not being able to overcome more complex big project architectures without a human verifying the code is clean and stamping it as good enough. Genai generated css is still kind of ugly ahah. I do see more corporate GenAI interventions in helping developers in multiple parts of the « under the hood », like better user stories, architecting code reading the requirements of a project , propose unit or integration tests that find outlier cases of our code, providing recommendation of security risks, outlining a code demo from the sprint tasks, automated code quality suggestions on merge requests…it’s more like GenAI brings quality of life features/low hanging fruit rather than being a big code assistant holy grail I talk about here 🤔 (Heck that could have been a better video idea 🫠)
GenAI could change Python web apps, Fanilo Andrianasolo. Hey. I'm watching you. I see you. That is half the battle right? LOL...... I like what I see. Very cool. Very cool. You did a good job with this one. Great video! I have just subw3scribed to your channel. So congrats, you just gained another one. I am an advocate on this platform for engaging with others and supporting one another. And returning love and reciprocating feedback. I think that kind of community on here is what we need. Hey, if there were a lot more people like me on here, you might have an extra 7,000 friends and fans to your channel, right now. Extra. That is the community I'm encouraging people to help me build. Hope your channel continues to grow. I'm a real person. I am not a bot. I am a content creator, just like you. Let me get half the battle too. Who knows you might even like one of the videos there.

Thanks, appreciate it! There are so many trends to follow right now, hard to chase every of them and share those that I think matter the most ahah
