- Presidential hopeful Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is coming to his wife’s defense after an MSNBC contributor labeled Casey DeSantis as "America's Karen." Fellow conservatives are appalled at the "Karen" comparison, with some calling it an "Ugly mockery." DeSantis calls the insult "a badge of honor. "My wife is an incredibly strong first lady of Florida, a fantastic mother and a great wife," DeSantis says.

@@ant123924 Traitor Joe has been the biggest failure in U.S. history, between leaving billions of dollars in weaponry to the Taliban in 2021 during the horrendous Afghanistan pullout of the troops which resulted in 13 killed serviceman and dozens of stranded soldiers, and showing much more concern for Ukraine over our own southern border which is a growing crisis and emergency, he is truly the worst in our country's history. It's tough to see going from Trump, who was the best in my 32 year lifetime, as the evidence proves, to now Joe who is factually the worst of all time.

I wish Karen wasn't used as a bad name. Karen Carpenter was my favorite female artist. Her singing voice brings so much joy to my life even when I'm not having a good day. A sweet & gentle person who wouldn't hurt a fly. ❤

I didn’t see the entire MSNBC segment or know about the correspondent’s personal views on this Woman so I can’t speak on that, but only from the snippet taken here, neither MSNBC called her a Karen, nor did the guest. He stated “some consider her”. If I were to state that “some consider America to be an imaginary place” I’d be telling the truth but not stating my own opinion. Also if we only go off of him stating “some consider her America’s Karen” to mean he personally considers her that, he just as much called her the brighter side to Florida’s angry governor. That arguably isn’t very kind towards her husband and thus a bit of a backhanded compliment, but compliment or at least positive statement about her nonetheless. Again, considering that I haven’t see any more of that that segment than what was seen here I can’t fully speak to that, but in this bit I don’t see anyone mocking her.
