I use the top of the washer and dryer. Another thing is that you can leave the dryer on COLD if you want and the items don't let the wrinkles set in.

I wish I had a smooth surface area besides a couple tables bat my grandparents where I could start rolling my clothes again. But would also have to look into the instructions again, since it's been a while since I rolled shirts and underwear. Rolled clothes take up much less space than folded. And rolling doesn't take long once you get used to it.

I used to do all sorts of expensive acrobatics to wash my floor - the most efficient way is to use a damp micro fiber broom - loved the shoe thing though - I've seen it before when cooking and a clean up as you go affair
As far as the tea and the newspaper for clean streak free windows, the tea has nothing to do with it, its the paper. Use it all the time with any cleaners.
