I am a direct descendant from Newfoundlanders my paternal grandparents were from Bonavista both sides were fisherman
I know my grandfather's family were 5 generation back (my 5 great grandfather Patrick Sexton landed from Killarney in St. John's
as for the Linthorne side no idea
