Overnight oats, when it gets below freezing every night get some frozen fruit. Bahn mi are also surprisingly easy to make- whatever meat you want, baguettes from Costco or King Soopers, etc- cut lengthwise, a jar with apple cider vinegar and salt that you change every couple of weeks with cucumber, red onion, and jalepenos, then just some mayo/hummus and sweet chili sauce.

Lucas let me put you son some food game dog. It’s a pasta: Kielbasa Kalamata olives 1 orange pepper , 1 yellow Pasta Feta cheese Cook the sausage, then take off burner and cook peppers. Add olives to peppers after you’ve cooked them to desired doneness. Then add sausage back after both veggies are cooked up good. I’m the meantime you gotta be making that Pasta on burner # 2. This meal is so good, getting me through college. If my directions aren’t clear enough, just make it anyways. Can’t go wrong

Love the videos! Getting me stoked for this season. A few recommendations for easy camper food: Quesadillas (add whatever meat you want). I like to make pasta (boil it, drain it, and then add the sauce to the cooked noodles to warm up). Both are easy and only require 1 pan or pot.

School Marm is snoozeville. Good warm up run though. Once the North Peak and/or Outback open then there are some decent runs. I prefer overall Mary Jane, Breck and Loveland.
Unless you have an assistant, that must take quite a bit of time to do the b-roll stuff. Not to mention the drone footage. But that’s what makes your content a step above. Hat’s off to you.

Do you still see it as helpful to your overall Skiing on non-park, resort style terrain? I'm just interested to learn from your perspective! On a separate note, Mammoth Mountain just announced they are making an early opening (Nov 5th) our here in California, so looks like I might catch some early season November turns; LFG!!
Thank you man! When I was younger, I was a park rat so I had always skied switch and just something I don’t want to lose I guess haha. It’s nice to be able to do 180s and continue riding and vice versa. I think it makes you more comfortable when you’re in uneasy situations on the hill! And that’s awesome. Go get some turns!!

Flat bread pizzas make a great van meal. Buy the naan bread and use it as a pizza crust then make it in a pan. BBQ chicken and pepperoni and great options. Also you’re making me jealous! Itching to book my first ski trip of the season now

Skiing switch is how I keep entertained on the greens....especially on days where my mostly infrequently-skiing friends want to go skiing with me, and they want to spend half the day or more on the greens. Just point your ass the direction you want to go, and go. I also am mounted only 3 cm behind center, which sucks for pow, but is great for freestyle.
for some food ideas: if u get a decent sized pot, you can make pasta, drain the water, get some sauce and heat it all up together. only uses one pot, and one burner, pretty easy, and easy to clean
@@LucasCatania17 so true, don’t wanna be scrubbing for another half hour after dinner. another idea could be a sloppy joe just make a burger pretty much but chop up the meat, maybe add some barbecue sauce. Or you can never go wrong with just a quick grilled chicken cutlet and asparagus. i went on a week long truck camping trip with my dad and that was the go to. super easy you just throw the asparagus in with some butter and cover it then just grill the chicken. Just some suggestions, love the videos man, and mad impressive how many you have been pumping out! 👏

What’s the best way to learn how to ride switch? Love the constant videos, getting me stoked for the season! Also have you heard about booster straps for your boots? They’re apparently excellent and used by world cup racers
To learn how ski switch, it’s good to start slow on a relatively mellow pitch. When you are first learning, practice looking over the opposite shoulder on every turn. This will really help you in the future. Also, when carving switch, it’s helpful to focus on ankle angulation and leaning (with higher speeds) while pointing with the opposite shoulder instead of angling the knee (as much as when carving regular). Switch skiing is a great technique/trick in and out of the park so play around the mountain with it! It’ll open a lot of doors for you in park riding.
I’ve seen quite a few of your videos since the begging of last season, I really appreciate the level of content you produce and hope I can learn to edit like this one day, could you tell me what software do you use for editing I know that the 360 cam can be a little finicky with certain editing software, thanks keep being awesome!

I started dabbling in riding switch last season, definitely gonna be practicing this year. My other goal is to land a 360. Holy shit I have nightmares of dropping any of my camera equipment!
"NEW"- Ultimate Van Life Recipe: Crom (from conan the barbarian… this is food of the gods) 1 box Annies Mac and cheese (cook and mix before adding other ingredients) 1 can turkey chilli 1 can tuna Ketchup on top to taste Grated Cheddar Cheese Dude instructions: It's all goes in a big bowl, preferably a paper bowl (disposable). switch skiing advice :leave the poles at home for a day and practice carving super wide radius switch turns on a wide ass bunny slope :) oh ya and find every lip and do crazy half cabs all day all 4 directions .. R,L, SW R, SW L
When you're carving try to put all your weight on the outer leg in the turn. I've noticed in your vidoes that alot of your weight is distributed on the inner leg resulting in your skiis going in opposite directions. Looks good otherwise!!
My favorite car camping meal after a ski day is probably a hot bowl of chili with some plain toast on the side. It's a single pot recipe, and you already use most of the ingredients! Just sweat some onions and garlic, throw in some ground beef until the the water's all evaporated and the meat's a little brown, fry with some taco seasoning or a chili spice mix, drown everything in beef broth + a couple tomatoes. If you got it, throw in half a can of beer, jalapenos, and a little Worcestershire sauce. Cheese + sour cream if you're into it. If you want to try some Asian, any stir fry noodle is pretty easy and comes together in like 10-15 minutes. Pad Thai is a nice one to get started. You can sub any noodle for spaghetti, buy a pre-prepared sauce at the grocery store Asian aisle, and you're gucci to bucci. switch skiing advice :leave the poles at home for a day and practice carving super wide radius switch turns on a wide ass bunny slope :)

When you're carving try to put all your weight on the outer leg in the turn. I've noticed in your vidoes that alot of your weight is distributed on the inner leg resulting in your skiis going in opposite directions. Looks good otherwise!!

My favorite car camping meal after a ski day is probably a hot bowl of chili with some plain toast on the side. It's a single pot recipe, and you already use most of the ingredients! Just sweat some onions and garlic, throw in some ground beef until the the water's all evaporated and the meat's a little brown, fry with some taco seasoning or a chili spice mix, drown everything in beef broth + a couple tomatoes. If you got it, throw in half a can of beer, jalapenos, and a little Worcestershire sauce. Cheese + sour cream if you're into it.
If you want to try some Asian, any stir fry noodle is pretty easy and comes together in like 10-15 minutes. Pad Thai is a nice one to get started. You can sub any noodle for spaghetti, buy a pre-prepared sauce at the grocery store Asian aisle, and you're gucci to bucci.
