Keep doing it man. I just turned 51 in Feb. In the last 3 years I've almost died lost a kidney been hospitalized 3 times with infections and am now homeless trying to climb out of it without falling back into addiction. It's a bitch for sure. I'm not giving up that's for damn sure.

I am a veteran, and they are always pushing certain meds for PTSD etc. I stopped taking anything that wasn't absolutely necessary after they gave me 2 meds that interacted and had me crying uncontrollably for a month. I decided to DO SOMETHING and do things MY WAY. I garden, knit, bake homemade bread, play video games, whatever to keep my hands busy and I am better for it.
From a fellow veteran with PTSD.. you rock on!! Remember you always have a voice in What treatments you choose .. and you Must Must advocate for yourself!! I tend to do many of the same things I keep myself freaking busy.. it helps tremendously.. I always try to remember to leave shit in the back because if I'm looking backwards and I'm trying to go forward I'm going to run into something I probably don't want to. With love and huge hugs.. you hang in there and you just keep doing you!! I've learned this over like 12 years

Workout, write, play video games , whatever you need to do, but try to avoid those meds!
