If Apple paid him, he would be under the control of Apple. Apple is very controlling and they’re firing a lot of employees and they don’t pay well and independent reviewer. He can tell the good and the bad without having to look at the company directories you’re always better off with an independent reviewer. That’s what I do. Nobody buys my time on my recommendations.

@@just3ofus721 So far while using it on my 13 pro it seems to be fully functioning fine.The only bugs I have experienced are UI bugs but in terms of normal function it’s working great-Also the experience can actually seem faster at times simply because of the features they added such as predictive text-It makes typing so much better-Anyway as always everyone’s experience is different but so far it’s very smooth.

Yeah, since it only expects a landscape rotation and you being on a charger. It doesn’t matter what type, though. That way, I can switch to my 5W charger to charge my phone at night and put less strain on it that way.
You mentioned that for Standby it has to be on a Magsafe or Magsafe compatible charger. You can plug it in with a cable and turn it sideways and it will activate. It does work more consistently on a MagSafe charger for me.

i updated my iphone 12 pro max to ios 17 and suddently this morning, my phone is completely dead....it wont turn on and i even tried to do a factory reset but it is unresponsive.

In iOS 17, I noticed that the default notification tone is changed to - rebound instead of tri-tone. And now, it is too quiet. I hope that they fix this in the upcoming build ASAP.

If you have custom text tones, DO NOT CHANGE THEM OR PLAY AROUND WITH THE NEW SOUNDS!! There's a bug where custom ring/text tones will show up in the ringtones list but not the text tone section, only allowing default text tones. Can someone on the beta please file this as a bug in the Feedback app? EDIT: This applies to any of the alert sound you can change aside from ringtones.
So basically if u have a text tone from tones store n you download iOS 17 the text tone sound will still be under text tone as long as you don’t change it? Is that correct?

I listen to an app everyday. It use to play even when the phone locked. Now if the phone locks the audio stops. This doesn’t happen for the music app. I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?
How do you report an iOS bug to apple? After I installed the new iOS, my text messages have hung up where I can’t go back or write anything. I have to close the app a few times then it’s ok. It’s happened about 4 times now.
I have 17.2 and nothing is working. He needs to slow down because I’ve had to rewind 15 times just to get a multicolor clock and still I can’t find the options for it.
The Facebook messenger app is not opening currently if you’re on iOS 17 pretty sure it’s the app itself but I just wanted to let everybody know it tries to open but crashes

I believe standby works on non MagSafe chargers as well. As long as your phone is charging and in landscape and locked it comes on

I listen to an app everyday. It use to play even when the phone locked. Now if the phone locks the audio stops. This doesn’t happen for the music app. I can’t figure it out. Any ideas?

How do you report an iOS bug to apple? After I installed the new iOS, my text messages have hung up where I can’t go back or write anything. I have to close the app a few times then it’s ok. It’s happened about 4 times now.
