@@Durkhead the alt fire mode is what you want to use. Theres the x4 and x8. The x4 consumes 1 bullet the x8 consumes 2. Depending on your build and character you are using will matter to a degree. You dont really use it for mobbing it shines against bosses where you can land each pellet to get the full potential.

@@SpartanGameZone One thing I do to increase damage while in the vehicle is to keep adding to points to vehicle damage in the Guardian rank orange tree. I have almost the same amount of points in that as I do in the luck skill in the blue tree. But I still have to shut off mayhem when trying to kill COV while doing mission for bio-fuel and the one on the wedding dlc for the DJ.
You can get fire resistance on 2 pieces of gear which should make you immune to all fire damage (or at least moze cant kill herself with her fire damage so I assume it works that way
@@thewzterminator elemental resistance is the only way far as I know to fully bypass an element if you can get it up to 100 (same resistance on com and artifact) or by wearing a shield to be immune to element. but there isnt shields for all elements
I liked the Barrage in my initial playthrough (normal mode). I got it somewhat early on and it carried me through several early levels. It now hangs on the wall. It's just one of those base game weapons don't have much use when you get in the Mayhem modes.
Tank up for those pain guns and they become a lot of fun. I still like to play around with a few of these. Cosmic crater, barrage, tran-fusion. The loaded dice makes me wonder whether loot luck increases the amount of accessories found on weapons but that still remains a mystery. If that were the case though it'd be cool to see the common drops receive a stat increase so they become a bit more like alternatives to their legendary counterparts
Just like scooter himself, they weapon they made to honor him also got did dirty. The mechanic should have been just as good if not better than the yellowcake. Or Jack up the vehicle bonus to a crazy amount to make vehicles OP.
Loaded dice decreasing your hp is useful if you have a level 1 stop gap and health regen on at least 1 piece of gear. You will be unkillable by anything except for your own projectiles, and you can have any annointment you want.
i feel like power creep shouldn't make a weapon too worthless! that's the case with quite a few of these weapons. hot spring, the monarch, etc. the loaded dice i will concede is genuinely bugged and does not work.
Also, if Rectifier kills it doesn't count as your kill, so no FFYL. I'll also add Storm Front grenade to this list, Boring Gun, Alchemist, Rough Rider shield.
Boring gun can actually kill things though. Its gimmick is weird but not entirely useless. Those blades bounce off walls, climb some walls and explode in a nice radius if your going radiation or moze.
@@w01dnick just gotta build right for it, its more of a splash damage gun :P same goes for the devils foursum, that one is very weird gimmicky firing, but that thing destroys. and the superball pistol, it has outstanding damage if you ever hit anytthing with it (at least last time I used it, it did. idk how it performs as of right now.
Thanks for saving me a lot of work and at the same time, making room in my safe and money for my purse. I had tested one of these and found it to be trash, just as you did. I now feel confident that those which I have of the rest of these can be sold for fun and profit (and to help the owners of the "New You" machines to become fantastically wealthy).
I think the dictator is a fine weapon as you cannot get the monarch until you get to mayhem 6 or beat one of the trials on the true difficulty. if you are playing flak, getting a dictator in normal mode is very strong and can easily carry you through half of the game
Hot Drop is the best and actually viable slam (for Moze) as it sends out 5 projectiles around you that all leave lava pools after as well, covering a far larger AOE than Cosmic Crater, and since its fire and explosive- Moze reaps alot of benefits using it. And its a prefix not tied down to any 1 specific artifact!
What about the EMP? It dose pity full damage at late game, like it’s effect is pretty cool but the fact it can’t damage red/yellow bars makes it pretty trash. And the one enemy that it would be nice against (guardians) Has either way to big shields or resists the effect of it as even a nade build would barely scratch them. At low lvl it can be good at poping sheilds but if it’s an enemy with blue bar it does basically 0 damage.
The cosmic crater equipped gives you way more iridium when you smash the crystals as apposed to when you don't have it equipped. Probably worth a test. Other than that, yeah the puddles are junk. Water does more damage

The phoenix tears are pretty good in a normal new game cycle, honestly. Until you beat the game the first time and unlock guardian ranks, getting full HP back from second winds is pretty good. My friend had it equipped for most of the game when it dropped for him randomly while were doing Hammerlock's hunts, and it made him, a very bad player, need help significantly less often.
I would've thought the Creeping Death would've been here since feels like you're sneezing on the enemies. Actually wait, sneezing on the enemies would do more since they'd probably die of the flu before the CD
But I literally WANT A POWER SIPHON TRANS FUSION Like oh em gee PLEASE! Because it heals shields AND health - and Moze CAN make this worth it. But that's because I will often have wrecked shields and/or throw it at shields complete with shock element. I can melt armor anyway just *hitting* it so...
I guess the Phoenix Tears could be somewhat useful in a first playthrough before you get the Resilient Guardian Rank perk? Though the chances of anyone needing/wanting to look up loot pools before endgame are pretty low.
I know this is from months ago, but I definitely be using that mechanic to light Mother's up in my Bandit technical, cyclone, or the runner. I mean with all due respect I'm definitely faster in a car then on foot. Most of the time.

Joke guns shouldn't be a thing, like why fill the loot pools with useless legendaries that only waste people's time. Like at least make those joke guns useable, like the gettleburger it would be funny as hell to go around killing enemies with burgers that dissolve they're skin but no, it's a complete fucking joke and not the funny kind.
I disagree I feel it adds a need for knowledge. A games not fun if your a god no matter what you use, its a point of satisfaction when you shoot a screaming gun that yells at you for being bad cause the gun has no damage, its hilarious. Plus some gimmick guns can kill easily.
On my first playthrough I thought the Dictator was the Monarch and I was wondering why people were so obsessed with the gun lol.

It took me 2 years to figure out that the barrage's legendary effect is just the fact that it shoots 3 round burst (but it does it really fast)

I think I got the tree color wrong, it's the green tree, not blue for the luck skill.
Those pain guns would be absolutely amazing if there was a fire-version of the Transformer to pair them with.

How hard is it really to scale vehicles to mayhem levels? Gearbox is such a half assed company sometimes.

Warlord with it's 30% chance not to consume ammo. WTF with it's IEDs is a shield that will kill you and not your enemies.

The only time these Legendaries are useful is when you get them in Arms Race. You need Legendaries to deal more damage

I ended up with 2 legendary mods out of slot machines with the loaded dice artifact. Also never got a bust (grenade drop) in over 5 million dollars
As impractical as the Barrage may be in mayhem, it's still easily one of my favorite legendary weapons for the eaely game.

Weirdly you second wind with 90% shields anyway so it's completely useless. Only plus is it's not a world drop.

Check your Mayhem modifiers. One of them is likely causing it.

Joke is subjective, they are incredibly useful for lower levels and earlier playthroughs. I vote they stay, most endgame gear has a dedicated drop.
