XL main appeal is her dmg and pyro app, but her ER requirements are so high that she almost always needs too much ER so either Bennett or a fuck ton of Favs. And in cases where XL isnt really vaping, shes there just to apply pyro with good dmg on the side. Dehya is simpler with less dmg
@@mordakie3805 Massive Pyro damage drop but your main dps more consistently vapes so it can still be a higher dps overall and you get interrupted less without needing XQ to prop you up. She is just a decent alternative not a replacement.

Are you not afraid? Any time I mention anything good about Dehya and her usefulness, I would be countered left right and centre on how she's just trash. But am happy you brought this up. I've always valued using Dehya for the interruption resistance and dmg mitigation. It's like having a second Zhongli, for comfort and ease of play, and allows for reactions as well. Even with a full EM build, it is possible to get her to 35-40k HP, so she can still serve both purposes.
Dehya's kit sucks. We know and understand this and it's been so long that the meme is getting kinda old. Not for me though, I relish in making the joke, but I do like the character sincerely and only joke about it because it was such a disappointment. With that said, she is one of our few off-field Pyro appliers and there was a recent chance to get her for free with the added benefit that it was during Mualani's release window. She is also on the standard banner so some people may have her and struggle to find a use for her aside from the interruption resistance. I mean, I constantly joke about her trash kit but still used my free 5* selection for her to get her to C2. We want Dehya to be good, that's why we joke about her being bad. To hide the pain...
Dude just because she is GOOD now, does not mean she did not absolutely suck in the past and to GET good they had to engineer the game so she did have place. She is still very clunky to play and as soon as a character with a similar strengths to her comes out back in the barely sued bin she goes I love Dehya , but you cannot deny she has a terribly designed kit

She's a "best we got" option, rather than "you complete me" character for a lot of these teams. But on the flip side, she gains a lot of power with constellations, and they do address some of the kit issues. Added to that, people tend to focus on certain aspects, while ignoring other bits. Like in this video, TGS talks about how she's a defensive support for the off-field bit, but when he's talking about her as an on-fielder, he ignores her survivability, and how to utilize her kit to maximize it. And that is, quite frankly, a huge oversight, because a major perk of playing an on-field Dehya is just how survivable she is. People have blinders on.

It's just as bad as the people calling her shit when people want to use her in a team she's actually good in, being a fan of hers doesn't change this.
One thing to also consider for on-field Dehya: she's quite effective without trying to turn her into a carry. Before, team options for this were limited, because, well, the better off-fielders didn't mesh with her. But now we have Emilie, who does (and if you are using Emilie, you can also use the burn set on Dehya, if you so desire, for bigger normals). Xilonen opens up options as well, since she will boost Dehya's damage, while also allowing the likes of the double geo with (an ideally C1+) Chiori (though crystalize will interfere with Dehya's signature), or cranking up Furina damage. So if you experiment with the new additions, you'll find there are off-field damage dealers that can be used in place of some of buffers. And the reason these teams work well is because Dehya is very survivable as an on-fielder. She smooths out spikes of incoming damage, spreading them out over 10s. If her health gets low, she heals herself. If you have C4, she heals herself while bursting. When she picks up her field (utilizing her C2 or her burst), she makes a percentage of that delayed damage go poof for a bit. Her field, her ascension talent, and her burst also all help protect her from getting knocked around. And all of this, combined with a good source of healing ticks, means Dehya doesn't care about incoming damage. Anything that threatens her kills anyone else. And this lets the teams operate closer to their damage ceilings than most other teams. Mind you, it still won't be the fastest clearing team, because you're using a defensive support as an-fielder. But it will clear even the toughest Abysses we've had comfortably, without crazy investment.
My C2 Dehya now has a purpose simply because I didn't want to use Xiangling in Kinich's team and Dehya is surprisingly good in that team. Of course, that all could change if Mavuika ends up being like the ultimate support for teams that want pyro supports, but let Dehya shine for once, even if it's for just some time lol

Considering that every Natlan DPS so far would love a good pyro off field character that can hold the scroll set or even enable other characters to hold it, I’m going to assume that’s exactly what mavuika is. Even the upcoming Chasca would benefit from an off field pyro based on leaks. It simply makes too much sense.
I personally really enjoy using the Kinich Dehya Furina and Baizhu team! Baizhu has enough dendro to support burning, Furina can Vape + Bloom and Dehya can get a bunch of damage from burgeon too! Plus, it's really safe with both Baizhu and Dehya as sustain, even when Dehya is mostly built for EM
this is one of my two main variant of kinich, which is very good in AoE multi-wave scenarios, where dehya is on full EM (paradise set or gilded) and baizhu on deepwood, while on focus fire kinich, my dehya switches to deepwood with bennett

When I pulled her I was told she was a useless character. I started playing in 2023. A year later I can say she was one of my most fundamental characters, I used her in Hyperbloom with Neuvillette before I did him C1, I used her with Clorinde in Overload along with Miko and Chevreuse. And now I am using her with Kinich. Perhaps, at the end of the day, she is one if not the character I have used the most of all, what a paradox.
I use Dehya with Mualani, specifically because I don't want to keep changing my Xiangling build all the time. This, along with the Archaic Petra video has been a big help!
I build her recently and play her with Raiden/Sara/Chevreuse. Her ult duration is only 4 sec, wich is perfect for Raiden rotation. The team is fun and confortable to play.
Jello about to release an updated guide for Dehya but TGS beat him to the punch, lol. I love Dehya now, i had her built even though she sucked before Fontaine, but now she's a staple for my account. I lost Kinich 50/50 to Dehya's c2 and i wasn't that annoyed. I mainly run her now with Mualani/Xilonen/Emilie. Dehya wearing deepwood and using r5 forest regalia. Provides off field pyro for both Mualani/Emilie, shreds dendro for Emilie, provides EM buff to Mualani. Its not Mualani's fastest speed clear team, but it still easily clears endgame content and most importantly is very fun to play.
Since I got dehya from anniversary, playing her everyday with different type of teams The current one is Furina/Xilonen/Nahida/Dehya Fun team to play as quick swap and clear everything
I used Dehya in a Neuvillete burgeon and it was sooo good. Neuvilette, Nahida, Kazuha and Dehya. Sacrificial on full EM Dehya. Easy. The triple kenkis I struggled with previously was cleared well under a minute with this team. I also farmed a Vourokasha set for her but....ER...😢. Think I need to camp in the Emblem domain for a while😅
What is cool about her is how she can carry a 4* artefact set without any problem in her supportive role, any burst reliant character would struggle a lot in comparision... I enjoy playing Thoma more in Burgeon though, since he fires pyro more often, and given I already built him quiet well already, I don't feel the need to build her...
dehyas versatility and relative power weakness basically makes her a perfect "pseudo buffer." she slots in perfectly as an instructors or deepwoods holder without losing any significant damage, while also providing other small but cumulatively substantial qol contributions like easy off field pyro, interruption resistance and damage mitigation. does she still feel scuffed? yeah. do i use her more often than any other standard character in abyss? absolutely. effective or not her use cases cant be denied for now
EM Dehya is actually one of Neuv’s best supports imo, not scuffed at all. I run Furina, Baizhu, Dehya, Neuv and the Dehya/Baizhu combo allows Neuv to get burning vapes + burgeons which hit hard from building Dehya full EM with HP substats. It also gives him the interruption resistance he needs at C0. Easily my comfiest team and since it has hydro, dendro, and pyro it can pretty much counter any elemental shield combo in the abyss
I prefer overload dehya with chev and raiden over vape, her er requirements are easily met which helps you to build more offensive stats and dehya just doesn't vape alot of times in her burst, she does 10 punches in her burst out of which only 4 can be vaporised, it's better to just increase her raw dmg, I do have c6 chev tho, I don't know how much worse it'll be without it
Currently any pyro than xiangling are bad for mualani, except maybe if dehya pairing with emilie on mualani. For kinich burning, dehya is good for comfy and deepwood wearer until mavuika release
I got my Dehya on Neuvillette's release. Oh boy did I scramble to get him as well 😅 but I actually almost had a complete Vorukasha set for her, since I'd been farming it for Childe in 3.7-3.8. that's why I'd never tried emblem Dehya. Got her to C2 during Fontaine and now she's one of my comfiest characters. I also run her on sacrificial greatsword, really nice for energy, and use her as a pyro applier for my Kinich, a comfort pick for Neuvillette and other teams, and sometimes as a DPS. She has a HP sands, pyro goblet and crit circlet and the build is a hybrid between a tank and dps.
I've been using Ganyu Xilonen Nahida Dehya burn/melt to great effect. It's so fun I almost want to pull Shenhe next rerun to amp Ganyu up more. Glad to be getting more use of my Ganyu these days thanks to Xilonen.
@@Rimurutempest8833 Yes we do, of course the beta isn’t out yet but the overall kit purpose is almost always leaked and proven right in advance. They say she may have a dps and off field mode. And since she is the archon, she WILL have infinite fast off field application. Mualani, Kinich, Emilie, Burgeon Teams etc all need fast and strong application contrary to dehya.
It is definitely a choice. A good one. A bad choice would be making one after Mavuika was announced and her kit was revealed to work better than Dehya's and even then it wouldn't be that bad of a choice seeing as how not everyone can or wants to roll for Mavuika or just like Dehya and want to maybe know how they can use her more efficiently. So not sure if you were implying one or the other, but I do hope you can see how there's absolutely no need to criticize someone for making something that may actually come in handy even after Mavuika's release.
@@DPS_Dehya we get so many pulls from exploration and quests, anyone who pulls for example for chases and doesn’t plan on pulling an archon is sabotaging their account tbh lol. Imagine personally don’t like mavuikas design or what we currently know of her personality. But she will be strong and meta defining. Just like furina, just like nahida.

i pulled on her banner, tripke crowned her and farmed a ton for her when she came out, and i use her more now than then. granted i dont use any of that gear anymore, shes permanently stuck on instructor 4p and sac. i am glad she has teams she works on now tho
I was lucky enough to get Dehya's C6 without getting any other 5-star constellations. It isn't feasible to get the full Cinder City buff for both elements, but Xilonen's resistance shred is more consistent than Kazuha's for sure, and her healing also is helpful. I like the following rotation: Dehya E > Bennett E > Xilonen Q > Furina EQ > Bennett QE > Xilonen E N2 > Dehya Q. Bennet's QE will get you a brief pyro aura for Xilonen to crystalize if your ping is good, and in this rotation everyone gets some healing from Xilonen and/or Bennett. C6 Dehya's ER requirement here is 150 assuming that Xilonen and Furina use Fav swords.

My main team rn, Dendeo Traveler, Neuvillette, Dehya, and Xilonen Using Xilonen for res shred, Dehya for pyro app and interruption resistance. Dendro traveler to provide burnimg status, then Neuvillette is my main dps
im contemplating building her as a xiangling replacement on my navia team and chlorined team because xiangling is just so annoying to battery even at 250er she needs funneling i just dont know if shes gunna an ok substitute
My favorite Dehya team has been Dehya C2R1, Raiden C2R2, Yae C0R1, Chevreuse C2. Lately I am using Dehya, Kinich, Furina, Xilonen quite a bit as well. Maybe because my Furina is C2 this team clears faster than if I replace furina with Xiangling C6 EL. I lost 50/50 for Emily so yeah, better luck next time.
Building Dehya two months prior to Mavuika's release is definitely a take. Other players can't actually see the builds of your teapot bench sitters, you know.
My dehya is level 70 with lvl 40 sac greatsword, lvl 4 skill, and lvl 0 artifacts and does her job for Kinich well. You don't need to spend much resources if you are using her as a skill bot
I use the burning set on her and just run her with kazuha nahida and bennet. The damage isn’t that good but this is my main team for clearing the new Natlan domain since pyro reactions trigger a random 30k damage tick to the enemies I get a decent 20 second clears.
Hey TGS, quick question, I plan on going for Neuvilettes weapon but unfortunately it’s paired with Zhonglis polearm. Is Vortex vanquisher good on anyone, my only five star polearm is Skyward spine but I have the BP weapons
it's an attack stat stick, so it depends on if you have characters that can use it well, mainly xiao, arlecchino or emilie but you said that you have bp weapons, if that includes sacrificial jade than it is a very good option for neuvilette, so if you really want neuv sigg you can go for it if you have characters that can use vortex but i would personally just use sac jade(bp catalyst) on him
If someone can help me with this, so some people say that the team mualani dehya xilonen kazuha is the best but some others say that mualani xiangling xilonen and another hydro is the best and in this tierlist the best hydro is c1 more which I have her constellation. The argument with dehya over xiangling (my xiangling er is 235 with the catch idk if enough and if it is better to use fav along with using fav on xilonen) is that she pairs perfectly with mualanis hits, but the con I found is that if her skill does not apply pyro and the hydro aura remains, she will vaporise nothing. So which of the two is the best team considering I got c1 mona? (The two teams are 1. Mualani, dehya, kazuha, xilonen 2. Mualani, xiangling, mona c1, xilonen).

No you shouldn’t invest in her. Just level her to lvl 70 to get the free wish and give her hp artifacts. That’s it. Mavuika is almost there so save your resources for her
I use dehya with neuv and she applying alot pyro she is easy to build she is tanking my neuv i use her on overload team along side yanfie and it so good im not some one who use her brust skillis enough for me she is doing amazin to me
I feel ya. I have her on my Navia team, my Wrio team, and even my Ayato team and she still hits relatively hard and creates good pyro application for the characters.

Idk what alternate reality you're from, but Dehya was absolutely terrible on release. Mechanically she hasn't gotten any better, we just have more units that can better support her as a DPS, or more importantly, more teams that actually can and want to utilize her as a support. She didn't have most of the options we have today like Neuvi, Furina, Mualani, Kinich, or Xilonen back in 3.5. Her best teams back then were basically just Ganyu burn-melt and a really scuffed mono pyro variant. Hyperburgeon was functional but very underwhelming, and her vape teams were purely for memes. As someone who pulled for her back in 3.5, I'm glad Dehya is getting a lot more options and viability now, but don't try to pretend her release was anything short of a disaster. It doesn't take much time to find the mountains of theorycrafting and testing done to try and find just the smallest glimmer of viability for her back in 3.5.
I have C3 Deyha and the best team I came up with is: EmilieC1-DeyhaC3-FLEX(doesn't matter much put the element you need)-FurinaC6 (used as team healer.) .This team is extremely strong and easy to use(no clunk or rotation timings) Permanent uptime on E-skill at C2 (I simply cast skill twice in a row)make her much better to use than Xangling C6. Plus I use Emblem and Izanuma craftable ER refund weapon so with 175 ER the burst is always back up after her skill. I like that her burst tracks and closes the gap with the enemies far away when a new wave spawns (unlike Raiden) and the interruption resistance helps the team in general. The ONLY negative is sometimes enemies back out of her skill circle and if the Pyro Archon has wider E or summons that track enemies with permanent uptime (like Furina) it would be my ONLY reason to wish for Mavuika.
Point is what Dehya provides is shit, but it’s consistent shit. XL/Bennet provide so much more but require bit more effort. But it’s still not much of an effort imho.

The main issue I have with Dehya is that THOMA EXISTS. Thoma literally does everything Dehya does but better - Need pyro application? Thoma applies Pyro faster - Need Interruption resistance? Thoma's shield will give you Interruption resistance - Need a defensive option? Thoma's shield is one of the strongest in the game - Thoma doesn't need to rely on Sac weapon for up time because his burst basically has 90% up time - No need to worry about Dehya dying from absorbing too much dmg that she dies because you're not using her - Thoma's burst can be triggered by normal atks which both Kinich and Mualani does - Can carry Fav to help generate energy and can carry support sets - Doesn't lock you in a circular area - Also not clunky to use
Dehya getting outdone by a 4 star Well to be Frank both dehya and Thoma share the clunkiness as Pyro applier for mualani, but he does sound better option for kinich, some small buff at his c6 too
As someone who has built both Thoma and Dehya, I wanna weigh my opinion on this. I think the fact TGS made a Dehya video is to show that the player does have options for Pyro off-fielders. XL, Thoma, and Dehya all have limitations but having them built relieves some pressure on which teams you should slot in. And there are a few advantages that Dehya has above Thoma: - Thoma doesn't need a sac weapon, because there's no sac polearm in the game which makes it difficult to keep up Thoma's ER needs pre-C4 (plus you'd need some amount of crit to keep up with fav's passive, which Thoma would rather have HP/EM/ER; Inazuma craftable works too but not everyone can fully refine it due to weekly boss limited availability) - Thoma's ICD on his burst is standard ICD, which is 2.5s and just as long as Dehya's skill trigger, so really Thoma doesn't apply pyro faster. The reason why Thoma is a lot better in burgeon comps is because the burst triggers more often to cause burgeon more often, not apply pyro on the enemy. - Dehya's access to sac claymore ensures she has 100% uptime with her skill and provides leverage for her burst. Although, I agree that having her skill activating a lot and circle impact does limit her utility rotation-wise - Dehya's passive heals herself and, if by some real bad luck you got her constellations, makes her burst pretty much a mid sustain and makes use of her HP scaling unlike Thoma's needs for EM and ER that aren't his shield's scaling They are cope options. Possibly Mavuika and maybe Pyro Traveler (plz Hoyo as a 15 crown Traveler main) will powercreep the usefulness of all three pyro off-fielders. But it's fun to build characters where their main purpose isn't the abyss or showcases. Plus who wouldn't want another character to help with Imaginarium Theatre?
Dehya only requires her E and doesn’t need any ER. She just presses E, puts a 4 piece artifact set on and uses like a level 1 weapon and she’s good to go. Thoma requires an actual build to function and has a smaller radius. He also requires normal attacks to be used in order to apply pyro which characters like Neuvilette and Mualani would not synergize with very well.
I wonder, if you don't want to use Sac Sword, cound't you use better weapon to buff Dehya abilites up more and yes you will loos on being able to double cast her elem skill in qiuck rotation, but her skill is also dropped at the end of her ult, so you could use her Ultimate to reaplly her skill while doing some extra damage on the side.

One thing to also consider for on-field Dehya: she's quite effective without trying to turn her into a carry. Before, team options for this were limited, because, well, the better off-fielders didn't mesh with her. But now we have Emilie, who does (and if you are using Emilie, you can also use the burn set on Dehya, if you so desire, for bigger normals). Xilonen opens up options as well, since she will boost Dehya's damage, while also allowing the likes of the double geo with (an ideally C1+) Chiori (though crystalize will interfere with Dehya's signature), or cranking up Furina damage. So if you experiment with the new additions, you'll find there are off-field damage dealers that can be used in place of some of buffers.
And the reason these teams work well is because Dehya is very survivable as an on-fielder. She smooths out spikes of incoming damage, spreading them out over 10s. If her health gets low, she heals herself. If you have C4, she heals herself while bursting. When she picks up her field (utilizing her C2 or her burst), she makes a percentage of that delayed damage go poof for a bit. Her field, her ascension talent, and her burst also all help protect her from getting knocked around. And all of this, combined with a good source of healing ticks, means Dehya doesn't care about incoming damage. Anything that threatens her kills anyone else. And this lets the teams operate closer to their damage ceilings than most other teams.
Mind you, it still won't be the fastest clearing team, because you're using a defensive support as an-fielder. But it will clear even the toughest Abysses we've had comfortably, without crazy investment.

Yeah, I have been using Dehya, Raiden, Yae, Chevreuse since Chevy was released. I still think this is the best team to properly enjoy using Dehya.
My C2 Dehya now has a purpose simply because I didn't want to use Xiangling in Kinich's team and Dehya is surprisingly good in that team.
Of course, that all could change if Mavuika ends up being like the ultimate support for teams that want pyro supports, but let Dehya shine for once, even if it's for just some time lol

Considering that every Natlan DPS so far would love a good pyro off field character that can hold the scroll set or even enable other characters to hold it, I’m going to assume that’s exactly what mavuika is. Even the upcoming Chasca would benefit from an off field pyro based on leaks. It simply makes too much sense.
Now we only have to wait till Mavuika releases and possibly takes even these roles from her :DDD

I personally really enjoy using the Kinich Dehya Furina and Baizhu team!
Baizhu has enough dendro to support burning, Furina can Vape + Bloom and Dehya can get a bunch of damage from burgeon too!
Plus, it's really safe with both Baizhu and Dehya as sustain, even when Dehya is mostly built for EM
this is one of my two main variant of kinich, which is very good in AoE multi-wave scenarios, where dehya is on full EM (paradise set or gilded) and baizhu on deepwood, while on focus fire kinich, my dehya switches to deepwood with bennett

When I pulled her I was told she was a useless character. I started playing in 2023. A year later I can say she was one of my most fundamental characters, I used her in Hyperbloom with Neuvillette before I did him C1, I used her with Clorinde in Overload along with Miko and Chevreuse. And now I am using her with Kinich. Perhaps, at the end of the day, she is one if not the character I have used the most of all, what a paradox.
I use Dehya with Mualani, specifically because I don't want to keep changing my Xiangling build all the time. This, along with the Archaic Petra video has been a big help!
I build her recently and play her with Raiden/Sara/Chevreuse. Her ult duration is only 4 sec, wich is perfect for Raiden rotation. The team is fun and confortable to play.

I love Dehya now, i had her built even though she sucked before Fontaine, but now she's a staple for my account. I lost Kinich 50/50 to Dehya's c2 and i wasn't that annoyed.
I mainly run her now with Mualani/Xilonen/Emilie. Dehya wearing deepwood and using r5 forest regalia. Provides off field pyro for both Mualani/Emilie, shreds dendro for Emilie, provides EM buff to Mualani.
Its not Mualani's fastest speed clear team, but it still easily clears endgame content and most importantly is very fun to play.
I'm also liking dehya on kinich teams more than xiangling cuz sometimes he moves so far away from the enemy that pyronado doesn't even hit the enemy.

Dehya could use deepwood memories on a Kinich team. Although she is replaceable by Thoma.
What is cool about her is how she can carry a 4* artefact set without any problem in her supportive role, any burst reliant character would struggle a lot in comparision... I enjoy playing Thoma more in Burgeon though, since he fires pyro more often, and given I already built him quiet well already, I don't feel the need to build her...
dehyas versatility and relative power weakness basically makes her a perfect "pseudo buffer." she slots in perfectly as an instructors or deepwoods holder without losing any significant damage, while also providing other small but cumulatively substantial qol contributions like easy off field pyro, interruption resistance and damage mitigation. does she still feel scuffed? yeah. do i use her more often than any other standard character in abyss? absolutely. effective or not her use cases cant be denied for now

EM Dehya is actually one of Neuv’s best supports imo, not scuffed at all.
I run Furina, Baizhu, Dehya, Neuv and the Dehya/Baizhu combo allows Neuv to get burning vapes + burgeons which hit hard from building Dehya full EM with HP substats. It also gives him the interruption resistance he needs at C0.
Easily my comfiest team and since it has hydro, dendro, and pyro it can pretty much counter any elemental shield combo in the abyss
I prefer overload dehya with chev and raiden over vape, her er requirements are easily met which helps you to build more offensive stats and dehya just doesn't vape alot of times in her burst, she does 10 punches in her burst out of which only 4 can be vaporised, it's better to just increase her raw dmg, I do have c6 chev tho, I don't know how much worse it'll be without it

Currently any pyro than xiangling are bad for mualani, except maybe if dehya pairing with emilie on mualani.

I got my Dehya on Neuvillette's release. Oh boy did I scramble to get him as well 😅 but I actually almost had a complete Vorukasha set for her, since I'd been farming it for Childe in 3.7-3.8. that's why I'd never tried emblem Dehya. Got her to C2 during Fontaine and now she's one of my comfiest characters.
I also run her on sacrificial greatsword, really nice for energy, and use her as a pyro applier for my Kinich, a comfort pick for Neuvillette and other teams, and sometimes as a DPS. She has a HP sands, pyro goblet and crit circlet and the build is a hybrid between a tank and dps.
I've been using Ganyu Xilonen Nahida Dehya burn/melt to great effect. It's so fun I almost want to pull Shenhe next rerun to amp Ganyu up more. Glad to be getting more use of my Ganyu these days thanks to Xilonen.
Finally my C5 Dehya is not bricked. Thank you TGS for the video.

@@Rimurutempest8833 Yes we do, of course the beta isn’t out yet but the overall kit purpose is almost always leaked and proven right in advance. They say she may have a dps and off field mode. And since she is the archon, she WILL have infinite fast off field application. Mualani, Kinich, Emilie, Burgeon Teams etc all need fast and strong application contrary to dehya.
It is definitely a choice. A good one.
A bad choice would be making one after Mavuika was announced and her kit was revealed to work better than Dehya's and even then it wouldn't be that bad of a choice seeing as how not everyone can or wants to roll for Mavuika or just like Dehya and want to maybe know how they can use her more efficiently.
So not sure if you were implying one or the other, but I do hope you can see how there's absolutely no need to criticize someone for making something that may actually come in handy even after Mavuika's release.

Imagine personally don’t like mavuikas design or what we currently know of her personality. But she will be strong and meta defining. Just like furina, just like nahida.

i pulled on her banner, tripke crowned her and farmed a ton for her when she came out, and i use her more now than then. granted i dont use any of that gear anymore, shes permanently stuck on instructor 4p and sac. i am glad she has teams she works on now tho
I was lucky enough to get Dehya's C6 without getting any other 5-star constellations. It isn't feasible to get the full Cinder City buff for both elements, but Xilonen's resistance shred is more consistent than Kazuha's for sure, and her healing also is helpful. I like the following rotation: Dehya E > Bennett E > Xilonen Q > Furina EQ > Bennett QE > Xilonen E N2 > Dehya Q. Bennet's QE will get you a brief pyro aura for Xilonen to crystalize if your ping is good, and in this rotation everyone gets some healing from Xilonen and/or Bennett. C6 Dehya's ER requirement here is 150 assuming that Xilonen and Furina use Fav swords.
So she at least has some use today. Now let's see Hoyo try and make Sygewinne work, that should be a real challenge :P

I use Her in my team with Raden, C2 Yae Miko CO and Cheveruse C6
Furina/Bennett/Xilonen is a good carry team, but another good alternative team is surprisingly Sucrose/Furina/Sigewinne.

My favorite Dehya team has been Dehya C2R1, Raiden C2R2, Yae C0R1, Chevreuse C2. Lately I am using Dehya, Kinich, Furina, Xilonen quite a bit as well. Maybe because my Furina is C2 this team clears faster than if I replace furina with Xiangling C6 EL. I lost 50/50 for Emily so yeah, better luck next time.

My dehya is level 70 with lvl 40 sac greatsword, lvl 4 skill, and lvl 0 artifacts and does her job for Kinich well. You don't need to spend much resources if you are using her as a skill bot

I use the burning set on her and just run her with kazuha nahida and bennet. The damage isn’t that good but this is my main team for clearing the new Natlan domain since pyro reactions trigger a random 30k damage tick to the enemies I get a decent 20 second clears.

Hey TGS, quick question, I plan on going for Neuvilettes weapon but unfortunately it’s paired with Zhonglis polearm. Is Vortex vanquisher good on anyone, my only five star polearm is Skyward spine but I have the BP weapons
it's an attack stat stick, so it depends on if you have characters that can use it well, mainly xiao, arlecchino or emilie but you said that you have bp weapons, if that includes sacrificial jade than it is a very good option for neuvilette, so if you really want neuv sigg you can go for it if you have characters that can use vortex but i would personally just use sac jade(bp catalyst) on him
How viable is em sands for main carry?
If someone can help me with this, so some people say that the team mualani dehya xilonen kazuha is the best but some others say that mualani xiangling xilonen and another hydro is the best and in this tierlist the best hydro is c1 more which I have her constellation. The argument with dehya over xiangling (my xiangling er is 235 with the catch idk if enough and if it is better to use fav along with using fav on xilonen) is that she pairs perfectly with mualanis hits, but the con I found is that if her skill does not apply pyro and the hydro aura remains, she will vaporise nothing. So which of the two is the best team considering I got c1 mona? (The two teams are 1. Mualani, dehya, kazuha, xilonen 2. Mualani, xiangling, mona c1, xilonen).
If only this came out when the anniversary was still around cz everyone was picking her but told me only to pick her if I had her already, which I still don't
hmm i should try to put her in my overpowered c3furina c2r1 xilonen c0 yelan core. so far that core has overtaken as the best core for most normal attackers as the best core, including geo characters. should be even better, relatively speaking, for her, since she can vape off yelan.

I use dehya with neuv and she applying alot pyro she is easy to build she is tanking my neuv i use her on overload team along side yanfie and it so good im not some one who use her brust skillis enough for me she is doing amazin to me
I feel ya. I have her on my Navia team, my Wrio team, and even my Ayato team and she still hits relatively hard and creates good pyro application for the characters.

Sadly no, she can get knocked around by heavy enough hits. Things like ruin graders and certain boss attacks can still send her flying.

love how these dehya videos are being posted NOW. When every CC would shit on her at release. She has always been good since release, but she has been getting better every patch like XL.
Idk what alternate reality you're from, but Dehya was absolutely terrible on release. Mechanically she hasn't gotten any better, we just have more units that can better support her as a DPS, or more importantly, more teams that actually can and want to utilize her as a support. She didn't have most of the options we have today like Neuvi, Furina, Mualani, Kinich, or Xilonen back in 3.5. Her best teams back then were basically just Ganyu burn-melt and a really scuffed mono pyro variant. Hyperburgeon was functional but very underwhelming, and her vape teams were purely for memes.
As someone who pulled for her back in 3.5, I'm glad Dehya is getting a lot more options and viability now, but don't try to pretend her release was anything short of a disaster. It doesn't take much time to find the mountains of theorycrafting and testing done to try and find just the smallest glimmer of viability for her back in 3.5.

I have C3 Deyha and the best team I came up with is:
EmilieC1-DeyhaC3-FLEX(doesn't matter much put the element you need)-FurinaC6 (used as team healer.) .This team is extremely strong and easy to use(no clunk or rotation timings)
Permanent uptime on E-skill at C2 (I simply cast skill twice in a row)make her much better to use than Xangling C6. Plus I use Emblem and Izanuma craftable ER refund weapon so with 175 ER the burst is always back up after her skill. I like that her burst tracks and closes the gap with the enemies far away when a new wave spawns (unlike Raiden) and the interruption resistance helps the team in general.
The ONLY negative is sometimes enemies back out of her skill circle and if the Pyro Archon has wider E or summons that track enemies with permanent uptime (like Furina) it would be my ONLY reason to wish for Mavuika.

I have C5 R1 Dehya hitting 54k punches with mono pyro. She was also good at C1, but i also got good artifacts.
The main issue I have with Dehya is that THOMA EXISTS. Thoma literally does everything Dehya does but better
- Need pyro application? Thoma applies Pyro faster
- Need Interruption resistance? Thoma's shield will give you Interruption resistance
- Need a defensive option? Thoma's shield is one of the strongest in the game
- Thoma doesn't need to rely on Sac weapon for up time because his burst basically has 90% up time
- No need to worry about Dehya dying from absorbing too much dmg that she dies because you're not using her
- Thoma's burst can be triggered by normal atks which both Kinich and Mualani does
- Can carry Fav to help generate energy and can carry support sets
- Doesn't lock you in a circular area
- Also not clunky to use

Well to be Frank both dehya and Thoma share the clunkiness as Pyro applier for mualani, but he does sound better option for kinich, some small buff at his c6 too
As someone who has built both Thoma and Dehya, I wanna weigh my opinion on this. I think the fact TGS made a Dehya video is to show that the player does have options for Pyro off-fielders. XL, Thoma, and Dehya all have limitations but having them built relieves some pressure on which teams you should slot in. And there are a few advantages that Dehya has above Thoma:
- Thoma doesn't need a sac weapon, because there's no sac polearm in the game which makes it difficult to keep up Thoma's ER needs pre-C4 (plus you'd need some amount of crit to keep up with fav's passive, which Thoma would rather have HP/EM/ER; Inazuma craftable works too but not everyone can fully refine it due to weekly boss limited availability)
- Thoma's ICD on his burst is standard ICD, which is 2.5s and just as long as Dehya's skill trigger, so really Thoma doesn't apply pyro faster. The reason why Thoma is a lot better in burgeon comps is because the burst triggers more often to cause burgeon more often, not apply pyro on the enemy.
- Dehya's access to sac claymore ensures she has 100% uptime with her skill and provides leverage for her burst. Although, I agree that having her skill activating a lot and circle impact does limit her utility rotation-wise
- Dehya's passive heals herself and, if by some real bad luck you got her constellations, makes her burst pretty much a mid sustain and makes use of her HP scaling unlike Thoma's needs for EM and ER that aren't his shield's scaling
They are cope options. Possibly Mavuika and maybe Pyro Traveler (plz Hoyo as a 15 crown Traveler main) will powercreep the usefulness of all three pyro off-fielders. But it's fun to build characters where their main purpose isn't the abyss or showcases. Plus who wouldn't want another character to help with Imaginarium Theatre?
thoma is literally more clunky that dehya 😭 I just rather just press E with her instead of worrying about ER requirements
Dehya only requires her E and doesn’t need any ER. She just presses E, puts a 4 piece artifact set on and uses like a level 1 weapon and she’s good to go.
Thoma requires an actual build to function and has a smaller radius. He also requires normal attacks to be used in order to apply pyro which characters like Neuvilette and Mualani would not synergize with very well.

I wonder, if you don't want to use Sac Sword, cound't you use better weapon to buff Dehya abilites up more and yes you will loos on being able to double cast her elem skill in qiuck rotation, but her skill is also dropped at the end of her ult, so you could use her Ultimate to reaplly her skill while doing some extra damage on the side.
No, her ult does not reapply her skill, it extends the duration but the cooldown does not reset
