I read the title, so I kind of knew what was going to happen, but when she pulled the candles out I automatically thought, "I hope she knows that you have to trim those!" 🤦♀🤣
I remember getting a wax seal kit in the 1960's when I was a kid for my birthday. My mom was pretty nervous about the whole fire hot wax thing. I never told her that I started a fire in my garbage can. LOL🔥🔥🔥
Bunny you need to trim the wick on the candles so its even with the little metal cup, that should help with the "black soot" you got on the bottom of the wax melter. Also I think the the metal stand is supposed to be a deer or something and the (metal tree) as you called it, is its antlers. Fun video nonetheless!
Aside from trimming the wick, I also bought a kind of cheap wax spoon and the handle came off of mine too. I think it's less likely if you use the cute little deer stand (those are antlers 😅) but you may just have to glue it every time? Its normal for the bottom to get sooty and black. 🤩 Those tiny stamps are so cute!! The handles of the big ones screw in? So you might be able to fix the "broken" one. ✌️
I recently bought an old sewing machine table to turn into a desk. In one of the drawers, I'm collecting antique style stationary and lots of wax seal things! Love it!
Most metal things come with a residue from the various lubricants and whatnot used during production, so that might've been the smell that came off the wax melter when heating it. Just make sure to give things like that a quick wash with some dish soap and dry before using!🤗
Agreeeeed I have always loved wax seals and use them in my business. They give a little touch of class... And now WHY did you have to go and show me this adorable set 😭😭😭 💚🧜♀️💜
TRIM CANDLE WICKS ON EVER CANDLE YOU LIGHT...PRIOR TO BURNING! almost every candle, has instructions on the bottom of them. Normally it's 1/2 to 1/4 inch that you are supposed to trim wicks to, prior to first light and every relight. When will there be blind box case openings again?
This is adorable, I've always loved wax seals, theh feel fancy :) also, random side note, but could you do a Does This Thing Really Work on the nail thing? I would love to see how it works!
I'm not sure if anyone else has said, but one of the main reasons why things like this are coming back around now is because a lot of people (myself included) do scrapbook journals and lil wax stamps look so cute in them! 🥺
I think you cut the wick and put the little stove but I think you should at that point blow out the candle. The little stove will be hot enough to melt the wax.
How is she confused about why the laddle broke? She literally held a wooden handle directly over a candle without trimming the wick or using the PROTECTIVE stand.
If the wick 😮needed to be trimmed, they should have said so in the directions, or made the wick the proper size. Good thing a child wasn't given the DIY. And did it t have an age restriction listed? 🤷🏼♀️ 😮
Bunny have you never owned a new candle before if you read the safety instructions that come on the bottom it tells you how short the wick should be before lighting. And then after you put out the candle and your left with the blackened wick your also spouse to break some of that off before relighting the candle. My gosh if you don’t know how to properly use a candle then please don’t make this kind on content until you have well learned not just about proper candle safety and also proper fire safety. We don’t want to be teaching younger people this is ok. Ok great let’s do it better next time
How many people were screaming at the screen for Bunny to trim the wick!!!!!

Always cut your wick down to about quarter of an inch on that small tea light 😂 yes it’s just soot from the wick being too long
I was shouting Bunny cut that wick 😅😂😂

The antlers on the stand look like a good place to store the ladle.

Yes trim the quick, use the stand without the tile under the candle. It was definitely too close
Lol Bunny, cut the wick and it's a deer stand
On every candle you buy is a warning: please trim the wick! And this is not a tree, this is a deer. 😂

It's partly my fault it's popular, I watch every Melts video 😆 the swirling colors are mesmerizing!
Its a stamp seal that important people in Victorian times used to seal letters to people with .💀💀💀😎😀😯😉😈😈😈😉😎💑💀💀💀💖💖
Bunny, the natural bees wax for stamping is best and non-toxic.
I think maybe you're supposed to cut the wick down. I love how mini it is. Very cute.
"Is that a danger to my health"😂
Hello Bunny. I too was screaming for you to trim the wick 😱😱😱😱😱
Jane in New Zealand 🇬🇧🇳🇿
Or just use the lighter to hold under the scoop spoon. But yes always gotta trim those wicks!
Ahhh...it looks nice. Just trim the wick and use the stand.
Use a spoon to melt the rest
A tea light and spoon?
Definitely user error. Trim the wick, Bunny.
How is she confused about why the laddle broke? She literally held a wooden handle directly over a candle without trimming the wick or using the PROTECTIVE stand.

The rest for the spoon is shaped like a deer
The kit doesn't come with a tiny little tweezers to handle those little wax pieces with .💀💀💀😀😀😯😉😈😈😈😉
Bunny you should have cut the wick
Why are they so small?? It looks like it’s for a dollhouse. I don’t think those were actually meant to be used.
I thought the same thing, especially since the tools look like they're made of plastic. It doesn't seem very safe.
Its because the witch side of theinternet startedto post about it. Like how manifesting happened but didntwana be associated with witchcraft.
Bet.
