Damn man I think this is the first I’ve seen you take to the skies. Hell of a pilot you are. Wow. And at 30% throttle that thing is a speed demon for sure. Cheers 🍻
Thanks Man. There are a few of my flight videos over the past year that are me. A few CARF Tutor ones floating around and L-39 ones. Thanks for watching!
I am surprised you didn't check slow flight during the maiden, with and without each flaps config. This would help you dialing in the approach speed for that dreaded first landing.
HA!! Nicely done.....from Ontario Canada! This is my favourite combo for the Ultra Flash. I have a couple UF's, and both have KT 160G2 turbines in them. I had a 140 Cheetah originally in one of them, and that is a really nice combo too. Sweet spot for us speed junkies is around the 140-160 Newton mark. I have seen everything from a 90 to a JetsMunt 200 in an Ultra Flash, and the middle ground is best if running from grass. I still have to re-maiden my second one, so I have a bit of puckering to do soon as well. LOL!! I really like your build videos and tips. Great for newcomers and experienced builders!! Please keep them coming.:)
Thanks Brent! Your absolutely right with the 140-160 range. I’ve owned multiples. My first had a 90. Next 3 had 140’s which were great and now I’m loving the small can 160! Great match. Couldn’t imagine 180-210😳 Thanks for watching!
Great maiden, planning to do a similar setup on my UF Evo. k160 g5 and igyro 3extra, i know it boils down to personal choice but does the UF really need a gyro? I intend to put one but ive been told by fellow club members she doesn't really need a gyro and flies on rails, i just intend to smooth out some gusty winds and a bit of aid while landing. So gyro or no gyro?
No plane "Needs" a gyro to fly. I will ALWAYS have one in my aircraft. 1. Landing we have the gain double or more and it's a huge benefit on landing. 2. your aircraft looks like it's not flying in windy conditions when flying in windy conditions.
Looking to build the same jet I was looking to put A 142 I see your running a 160. Does that make the plane harder to land ? Any pros or con toward the 160. Any info would be great. Carlton
Hey Carlton. I have owned many ultra flashes over the past 8 years. Flown with 80’s to 160’s as in my current one. Honestly my favourite engine was my last one which had a kingtech 140. I like the 160. It’s got some perks like you can go vertical on take off so maybe my new favourite but overall the 140 was my favourite
+Carlton Davis not sure why this is popping up again as I replied but I like the 160 but I think the perfect engine is a 140. The 160 is nice because you can go vertical on takeoff😂

Meh. I’ve owned so many ultra flashes it’s not a big deal. Landing was hot. Now. Landing is slow.

Yup! That's what 5 months of no flying because of the snow does to us up here. Next 3 landings were much better!

Jon. Nice fin stickers 🙂 You can shut down completely base leg in light winds!
I thought that was a Motors and Rotors sticker on the fin Dave. Mustafa had one in the same scheme but not in as good condition as this one!!!
Thanks Dave! I appreciate it! 😎
The Sticker made a long Journey across the pond to get here!
You can build them and fly them..! Nice air work Jon..Also that one thumbs down is a Testor sniffer.!!!!

Wow👍...this beast is really fast😳...great flight, nice plane🙌
Thanks 👍Didn't even put the gears to her yet. Throttle stick was at 1/2 most of the flight except on the verticals.😎
Nice fly. wish plane do recommend for beginners.
Thanks! For Turbine Aircraft there alot of great choices right now! Hard question to ask as it depends so much on what their skill level is.
Awesome cool vid
Thanks for watching!
Crazy. If the radio ever went dead this thing would land 5 counties over! Lol the guard might even have to shoot it down.
HAHA! It might run out of fuel before it get's that far but it's DANG FAST!
Beautfull
Thank you😎
