Robby the Robot and Anne Francis on TV

Gorgeous Anne Francis, who played the (literally) out-of-this-world Altaira in the 1956 sci-fi classic, FORBIDDEN PLANET, introduces TV's Perry Como to her "agent" -- none other than her mechanical co-star, Robby the Robot! (Don't know if legendary tough-guy half-pint Frankie Darro is wearing the tin pants inside Robby for this TV gig, or not!).

As a kid, after seeing Forbidden Planet on TV, I thought Anne was one of the most beautiful females I have ever seen in my life.

I kinda noticed her too. I first saw her in a 1960s TV show which followed whatever I was watching before it, which was the one I actually wanted to watch, and I can't remember what it was . . Her show was called Honey West, which I found boring but did see a bit of it. I saw Forbidden Planet for the 1st time much later and was floored by that gorgeous daughter of Morbius or Moebius . .

It's funny that Anne took off her high heels so she wouldn't make Perry Como look like a dwarf. She was 5' 8" (173 cm) and he was only 5 '6" (168 cm).
