I actually started to cry, i was in a very toxic friendship. It got to the point that she involved her mother and made her call me to claim that I was "cruel and inconsiderate" with her daughter. Every day was a constant drama, insults that began to affect me, even threatened me. I didn't want to talk to anyone, not even my family, she insisted that I had no friends, that my boyfriend was only with me for sex and that my family only wanted to control me. The most horrible thing she told me is that the only thing I knew how to do well was cry like a baby, because most of the time I was useless.
When I finally decided to seek the help of a psychologist, not only did I realize that I was with a manipulative person, but also understood that she was so insecure of herself that she needed to unload all this negativity with others. I'm so happy to not have her in my life anymore, I'm still working on my insecurities and confidence but I can assure you that after living this experience it's much easier to identify a toxic and manipulative person.
