    You have more sense than a lot of grown men I know of. Boys should work on things so they can fix stuff and not have to pay people to do everything!!

    You used red loctite...lol those bolts never coming out 🤣 but as a kid your doing an amazing job. Better than most adults.

    • @tinytproductions6238
      @tinytproductions6238  2 роки тому

      The installation manual said to use red loctite (it comes with the kit 😂) Since this video I’ve had both callipers off to change an axle and a wheel bearing. Just let a rod of steel heat up in the fire for half an hour and rest it on the bolts. It’ll get warm enough to melt the loctite but won’t ruin the seals. They come out with a 1/4 inch drive! Thank you

    I would recommend pressure washing after soaking with degreaser before painting anything lol good job though

    • @tinytproductions6238
      @tinytproductions6238  3 роки тому

      Yes that’s probably a good idea, but these bikes are used all the time and I clean them up every year. The degreaser also evaporates so quickly it doesn’t really bother the paint. Thanks for the advice!

    I just installed this kit last night on my son's 2000 honda 300 fourtrax 4x4. I bled the brakes put the tires on & the brakes are locked up, any reason why this is? Not sure if I did something wrong or what. Please help, thank you

    • @tinytproductions6238

      Did they lock up after pressing the brake for the first time or were they locked from the start? This could be due to a faulty master cylinder, or a bad brake line that isn’t allowing the pressure back through. Are one or both wheels locked? I’d start by removing both callipers and pushing the pistons back by hand, reinstall and try again. If both wheels lock again, I’d change the master cylinder, if you have another atv you can swap them for testing.

      @@tinytproductions6238 I would they were locked from the beginning, I took it off the stands to try it out & it wouldn't move. Thas when I found out they were locked up. I didn't go any further with it cause it was getting late. I will try your suggestions today when I get home. Thanks for the advice it is greatly appreciated. I will let you know what happens, thanks again

      @@jasonpalmer9633 one more thing! Double check the bracket that the calibres mount on to, as well as the whole setup to make sure it is all installed correctly. The bracket may be reversed causing the pads to press against the rotor.

      @@tinytproductions6238 figured out what was wrong, the bracket for the caliper was hitting the inside of the rim. I bought these rims off my buddy cause I knew I needed 12inch rims. They come off of his 2005 Rubicon, they are the aluminum ones. Even though they are 12inch the way they are made on the inner side there's a little lip on them & that's where the bracket was hitting. After I did some grinding & sanding I got it ready to ride. Thank you so much for all the advice & help.

    Great job, Wonder what happened to the vent tube. Is it reused?

    • @tinytproductions6238
      @tinytproductions6238  3 роки тому

      No, the vent tube can be removed as there are no drums to ventilate.
