I want to again thank you guys for all the support for my past UA-cam career (50k subs, that's insane). I feel I need to say that every time I upload a video super late. No, I'm not quitting, and I really want to make more videos this summer. However, I want to transition to Smash 5 when it comes out, so expect some other smash games on this channel. I love this game, but I'm super hyped for the new one. Also, I promise, I will be uploading decently this summer. I say it a lot, but this time I'll prove I'm serious. Look forward to it.

@@NinjaGrump. Not really. A good Fox requires shine tech a flawless neutral to work, and that's not even taking into consideration shine combos or even generic combos. Luigi requires a well developed knowledge of how to play neutral, and about five minutes of practicing his combos.
You have to remember that the melee tier list is not really a measure of any skill level vs any skill level. It's a measure of the forefront of competitive melee and how viable the character is at that level. Luigi's skill ceiling is low (comparative to S tier), meaning you can only get so good with the character before you literally can't get better from a technical standpoint. Those are limits that the higher tiers just don't have (at least without first hitting the human limit).

The quote Luigi mains like myself (or maybe just me, I dunno) basically live by. Seriously, I’ve mained him for a long time and still get shocked by the randomness that ensues. Luigi is one of those characters that surprises everyone, even those that use him.
...80% of my kills as Luigi involve walking up slowly (okay, maybe not always that, but walking up slowly makes it more hilarious to pull off) and using up b. A good 15% is accidental kills, like from misfires I didn’t predict (seriously, I can never expect misfires, even with though the odds of getting them are pretty good) or other stuff. The other 5% is probably something actually skillful like a read, a combo, or a meteor. Long story short, even though I try to land skillful kills, most of them end up being something hilarious instead.
So in other words... Luigi is a fun character but the ridiculousness that he causes makes him even better. I feel proud as a Luigi main, honestly, and this is from a guy who’s only played Smash 4 and Ultimate.

The flashing square in almost every clip made this very difficult to watch...
BunniBuu It's part of some of the hit effects for Melee, but since the game is meant to be played in a 4:3 aspect ratio rather than a 16:9 one, the hit effects are cut off on the sides of the screen and cause that flashing square to occur
