I have a proposition for you David. You are absolutely the man to go up against with the record I have in mind. If you are willing to try and officially beat my yet to me made unnofficial record, then I am willing to put some time into making it as difficult as I can for you. I don't plan on making it official for myself (but there will obviously be video)...almost purely for fun and to see how I measure up against you. The record I propose is fewest catches of 3 balls (regular L-R alternate throws) in ONE HOUR!!! If you reply saying yes, then I will get to work making a mark for you. Something tells me it would feel a lot longer than an hour..but that is why it appeals to me. What do you think?
For the 1 minute version of the record I got 22 catches. My heart rate also spiked from 50 bpm to 184 bpm from the exertion. The catch is that if you drop it, the attempt is disqualified. I feel like if we went head to head, I would just have to juggle normal and chances are you’d drop a ball before the hour was up and I’d win… I suppose more sporting would be to aim for something like 40 catches a minute which would be challenging but give a sporting chance to finish the hour.

Wow! Absolutely! I think I counted about 432 catches which would be good enough to beat my Guinness World Record of 428 for "Most juggling catches in 1 mintue blindfolded (3 balls)". You should get a Guinness account, apply and beat it!

You also have the record for the longest duration balancing a pool cue on finger; which measures does GWR require the cue to have? (The WPA specs say, among other things, 40 inches minimum length, 25 oz. maximum weight and 14 mm maximum width of tip, but is any WPA-conforming stick allowed?) By the way, while GWR says that the most juggling catches in one minute (three BALLS) is 502, it says that the most juggling catches in one minute (three OBJECTS) is 466, though balls are objects, too, and 502 is more than 466, after all. -If the objects record title also allows the shower pattern (and in my opinion it would be confusing to handle this differently), I guess you could claim both record titles with the 556 catches.- (EDIT: Whoops, I see: 2:07) This is not the only oddness I have noticed, e.g., there is the record for the most footballs juggled (5, held by three people: Victor Rubilar, Marko Vermeer, Isidro Silveira), on the other hand, there is the record for the longest duration juggling five footballs, held by yet another person (Josh Horton, 1 min 15.02 s).
