- The 2020 Toyota GT Supra, a collaboration that is not to be missed. Now in its 5th generation, the Mark V Supra is one of the hottest cars in the market today. Rife with a lot of controversy and superlative amounts of excitement, the 2-door sports car is fitted with the 3.0-liter straight-6 B58 engine capable of 335 hp and 500 Nm of torque thanks to that twin-scroll turbocharger boosting performance.

They partnered with BMW this time and even before they partnered to other companies like Yamaha(LFA) and Subaru(86/brz). That's actually a good thing because they both put their technologies in a car.

A great car that can also be a daily driver, I own one. and don’t care about the collaboration of Toyota and BMW in regards to its design. Most of the people that are saying negative things about this car most likely have not driven it which is too bad.

Looks like Earl has some SHORT-comings.
While the international market now gets the much improved Supra with a retuned motor (382 horsepower and 498nm of torque) + other improvements like front suspension strut braces, TMP continues to market the lesser spec 3.0 Supra to the PH clients.

It actually makes 370whp, bmw engines always have higher HP than what the spec sheet says.
whp is different with base hp. keep that in mind

WHY NOT 2JZ SUPRAA?? THAT MACHINE IS SO GOOD & VERY MANY PART RACING
Except during the JGTC (Super GT) years, the 2JZ was sidelined in favor of straight-4s and V8s.
The sound balance is a little off in this vid... The bass of the music in between is too loud when compared to the voice volume... Aside from that awesome vid as always 👍

The MK 5 ain't that bad of a supra and the b58 can reach 1000hp with stock blocks,papadaqis racing made one and it was astonishing how tough the engine is,and toyota cant just bring back the 2jz because of euro emissions and the closest engine similar to a 2jz is a b58 that has passed emissions,thanks to german automakers the supra mk5 was released,supra when new in the 90s took a decade before high horse power was achieved,lets give the b58 some time and it might reach more than a 1000hp with a stock block

I'm having a hard time wanting this car. This is a nice car, but I can't get over the fact that this is a de-tuned BMW posing as a Toyota.
BMW isn't exactly known for reliability in the last handful of years and BMW parts are way overpriced making this "Toyota" untrustworthy.

So,.For my verdict! Besides it's mix of cool and cuteness it also has it's beast in it specially from it's engine

It lacks of details ! I mean, compared to other countries where the Supra is available, I would have been glad to know, which features did not disappear. Yeah ! Let's not forgot Toyota Philippines corporation, is one of the champion of taking away some features to increase their benefits.
All the active safety features still available on the Supra in Philippines ? The wireless induction charging ? And all other things ??

The most customizable super car. I think the reason why there are a lot of faux trimmings is that if someone decides to modify the body, they wont have to spend too much money and regret. Also, bless Paul Walker in heavens
I read an article by a writer who had a lunch with the Supra's project director. He said developing a brand new engine would raise the price from $50k to $110k.
