After cracking NEET PG, I remember being a little confused about which specialty to pick. Choosing a branch can be one of the most important decisions of your career as a doctor! So here's me sharing how I feel about doing a residency in dermatology and certain things you need to know befor you pick dermatology as a specialty. Its coolest in practice, financially it is a risky branch as one will have to have its own set up which may or may not work

First year residency can be hectic. Depends on the workload at the institute. At most 11-12 hour shifts you may have to do in first year.
