Twenty Flight Rock

I don't usually cross state lines to play a gig on a school night, but I made an exception yesterday and headed up to Vicksburg, Michigan for a lovely event put together by my dear friends Jon Barnard and Mariann Tsilis.
I met Jon more than two decades ago when he was one of my National Institute for Trial Advocacy instructors, and I have now had the pleasure of teaching NITA programs with him for about the last fifteen years.
Traveling with me for the gig was my good buddy Brian Wilkie, one of Chicago's Telecaster masters. We opened for Delmark recording artist Johnny Burgin and his band, and we had a blast.
