In this and all of our videos, we showcase the Polaris Rzr 2020 Fox Edition Trail model, 50" as well as accessories, upgrades and product reviews. This enables you to know what your money is worth spending on when it comes to your UTV, whether it is a Trail model, or another Polaris. We also visit regional ATV and UTV riding areas and parks, to explain the terrain type, costs, and provide an overall review of these locations so you can decide if you want to visit. We will also insert a variety of other products, some non-Polaris for comparison and review purposes. We are mechanically inclined, but we are not mechanics, so we like to show you how we can DIY on our own Rzr just with the help of the OEM service manual and research. We hope you enjoy this and all of our videos, and please feel free to email us at Michael at the beatentrail dot net if you would like to know more, or if you have a product you would like reviewed. We are always looking for ideas for future episodes, whether it be your local shop, your new model UTV or an ATV/UTV park you would like us to visit. Do you have something which you think is interesting that we should film and cover on our channel? Write to us, we would love to hear from you!

We have been riding there since they opened 15+ years ago. I thought my kids to ride there. That being said we find new single track every time we go out. They have the best staff and everything looks the best it has in many years! Go ride!
It really was like nothing else we ever had ridden at coming from the New Jersey area so we definitely will be back there again even though they did raise their prices and I know there’s a lot of changes that happened since we were last there. Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed!
@@TheBeatenTrail how much is a day pass now ?
@@gamebredduramax71 Last I checked it was $75 for sxs, but unsure what it is now. Its a bit steep, but I love their tracks and trail management and labeling.
DT is the only reason I took the sport up again. It was the safest facility I have ever been to.Mike did for the sport what no in the south could.
I know, I felt they did a great job with signage, remote radios, emergency options were good. Personnel there and out on the track and trails. A shame.
question what is your option for a sport quad riding spot that wont force one to drive through mud holes and climb rocks that would give a jeep a run for the money?Need a new riding spot.
Same here. I've had some close calls on two way trails.
Drove up from Vero beach and it was well worth the drive.
w
Machine broke down , beyond operator trail repair. They towed me and fixed it same day.
Tell that to the Whites
awesome place for riding! since there are so few good places, it's a shame this closed. Hoping they re-open in the new year!
They are back open
South Mecca would be windrock park in Tennessee
GP Track was my favorite, I went 4th or 5th gear on my little Honda ATV pinned.
The tracks were fun.
I've heard about that part for years I wish I could go out there and check it out
Its worth the trip!
just passed there on the way to Atlanta, looks super fun!
It was! Hoping to get back down there this year!
@@TheBeatenTrail did you go??
Alway a nice ride buddy
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
Looks like fun
This was one of our favorite locations, amazing trails and tracks. Now reopen under new name, Georgia Offroad.
Place looks Awesome !!!!!
I really think it is. We have to get back there, the only negative i can say is the price has gone up and can be a bit high for single day sxs riders, but I have to get back down there later this year to do a follow-up episode. You owe it to yourself to check it out at least once. We loved it.
@@TheBeatenTrail sweet, thanks 👍👍
It’s reopened 🎉🤘🏼
Ahhhh The GP track. Man I’ve spent hours and hours riding that track. You guys should have seen it around 2010… it was much more gnarly.
We have to get back down there in 2024.
I love DT but you should back to Ga & check out Iron mountain in Dahlonega…. Its like a rich man’s up & coming Durhamtown Lol
We will have to this year!
Highland Park KTM World is probably better. Iron Mountain is just as hard packed as Durhamtown, if not more. Plus they don't maintain their trails at Iron Mountain at all, as well as their lone MX track. I do love Iron Mountain, but it's not well maintained. Highland Parks trails are in way better shape, and it is not hard packed like Durhamtown and Iron Mountain. Istarted if at Iron Mountain, and was biased, but once I went to Durhamtown and then Highland Park, my bias went away.
hope they re-open ASAP.
Us too
its back and open again under a new management and name.. Georgia Offroad Adventure park
NO way, thats great news! I have to go check it out online! :)
Can’t find any results on google, has anything been updated online about the reopening or new name?
I heard that the owner/management and everything remains the same, just with a different name.
Super bummer they closed. Did you say there would be an article and explanation of why they closed and potential new owners?
UA-cam didnt update it. Apologies. www.law.com/dailyreportonline/2019/12/17/greensboro-jury-awards-15m-in-motocross-accident-injury/?fbclid=IwAR3WtE0hKxKz-p3UnHy6hrpIoP9uzSGSz2C4A0wh99ta3qutAhWaIeNuYHc&slreturn=20220012180800
@@TheBeatenTrail thats only part of the reason. There was another way more preventable incident late last year, 2021. They were doing maintenance on a trail/track, and it wasn't busy. They didn't put up any trail closed signs, nor any warning signs. The were trimming back some tree limbs. A man and his son were riding their SXS and went down the trail, not knowing it was closed. The trimmed one limb from a tree, and it just so happened to hit the SXS as it was driving by. The limb impaled the father, and he bled to death in front of his son. That is the other deciding factor in them closing. They have since reopened under different management and name.
Such a shame for a place like that to close. Make me wonder how much it would cost to purchase 🤔
I know, its a lot of land, but I am sure others are thinking the same thing.
@@TheBeatenTrail , see my post above. They have reopened
We're can I find that map tracker you showed ?
If You’re talking about the map tracking that is showed at 2 minutes and 50 seconds that’s actually Google Earth. We take our GPS files and utilize them in various programs to give us a fly over video.
Best place to ride & they have reopend
To bad they just closed this looks like a great time
I know, it was my favorite place so far, it is far away, but cabins, store, shop, food, tracks and trails all in one place! Sign me up! Hoping they reopen under new mgmt or some other realm of possibility.
They reopend
Its reopened
Its reopened now as Ga Off road adventures
Yes we saw and they raised their prices.
ive gone back since reopening.Even better.
I have to get back there later in 202
It’s still owned by the same family they closed down and re opened under a new family members name so they can avoid paying money to the guy they killed due to there neglect
They have re opened as Georgia Offroad Adventures
Awesome!
Is it still a resort? Only 40 minutes away from me but would like to stay
From what I can tell its new owner, new name, or same owner, new name. Unsure, but the link is Georgiaoffroadadventures.com/ Should be the same amenities, but give them a call to be sure.
cant seem to find anything about it reopening. Anyone have any contact info?
We’ve all heard the news but I haven’t seen anything substantial so unsure if it’s really true or a rumor or wishful thinking or if they’re still working on the website and maybe it is true.
@@TheBeatenTrail just looked up Georgia off road adventure and it shows they are now operating what was durhamtown. So they are back open.
They have opened back up and nothing has changed about the rentals or tracks or trails
I have to check the prices lately, since we have not been in a while. I still would like to get back down there again, it was fun.
I am going in the next couple of weeks.i think now it is more expensive
It was like $70 for a SXS per day when we went.
It is reopened under new management!
Yes. Very glad on that.
They reopened!(under new management)
I saw. Glad to see they did, but they raised their pricing too. We will go back, it was a lot of fun and we didnt see it all.
It has re opened, was sold to his brother
It’s a cool place, if you are into dirt racing, But all track style and no real off-roading
What are you talking about? Tons of trails. Lots of single track. Hillclimbs and more. Have you even been?
@@Eastsidegeorgiaboy there’s not much hill climbs lol one section on the back left of the map. The “hill climbs” trail was a quick switch back of off cambers with no real challenge involved.
@@Eastsidegeorgiaboy yes, i have been there many time. and it you read my comment, i said "all track style and not real off-roading"... what i meant by that is, everything is smooth, flat, fast track style "trails" (more like dirt roads). there is NO challenges or anything that is considered off-roading. but everything is just dirt trails on relatively flat ground (more like dirt roads).
but yes, you are correct, there are 6,000 acers of trails and single tracks, but this place is in central GA (piedmont), so nothing that i would call "hill climbs" or anything even remotely challenging.
if you like dirt tracks, its a great place, but it is very different from what i would call off-roading. try visiting a place like windrock tn. which is 73,000 acres of serious off-roading in the mountains of east tn. windrock doesn't have such smooth roads and single tracks like this place.
But i wasn't trying to be hateful, just trying to inform others that haven't been here and scouting out places to ride
@@MrMrsregor Windrock is on our list again. Never enough time to see Windrock. Hopefully in the spring.
@@MrMrsregor DId you only ride the main trail? You must be confused
What’s the best place on the south east coast
Hard to say, I'd say between where we have ridden, Georgia Offroad Adventures, Carolina Adv World, but there are more for us to see to rank them all!
I was told no super aggressive tires were allowed like assassinnators
I had not read that. Was that just for the tracks not the trails or an overall new change with new name/park management?
Never heard that. I've seen all sorts of tires out there. Nobody is checking tires
I have seen every type of tire out there.
Its Reopen
Yes. Hopefully it stays open. :). Have to get back there.
@@TheBeatenTrail they have re named the park though
It reopened
are you pranking me?
web site still says closed.
Hopefully will see more website information if this is true would be nice if it was
@@TheBeatenTrail the name changed to Georgia off-road adventures.
@@TheBeatenTrail i just went last weekend. It’s rebranded as Georgia off road adventures
Overrated park for SxS’s. Other than the GP track the trails are like riding on hard packed roads. Also, when they get a decent rain they close down half of the trails in “in order to prevent having to perform trail maintenance.” We had that happen to us on two separate occasions. Day passes are way too high. Indian Mountain, Iron Mountain and Top Trails offer a lot more diversity in trails as well as being reasonably priced. Also, negative for this park is absolutely no night riding.
I hear that a lot, with the price increase its almost not worth the drive. Team wants to visit there again, but winter pricing? Please. Hope to make it to Iron Mt, but have not heard of top trails, but will research.
Top Trails is near Talladega. About a 2700 acre County owned park. It is on an old WWII ammo storage location with around 130 old ammo bunkers. Good mud when wet and also has some decent mountain trails. Really nice campground and also has primitive camping. Imo, Indiana Mountain in Piedmont, Alabama is the best park south of Tennessee.
Thank you. I will have to check them both out. On my list now. :)
I would have to disagree. Unless all you want to do is ride in mud.
I didnt think it was too bad. Take a look at SXSBLOG's latest wrecked ride video, you cant even see the ride in front of you since there was so much dust. Compare that to our video where it was clear (and moist). I guess it depends when you go.
I agree with you on the dust side. If they had more to offer other than clay/mud. The group that I ride with are more into rock climbing so we’re not hauling butt. We pretty much ride Windrock, Tackett, Stoney. I live in SC and for the first time went to CAW Carolina Adventure World yesterday and amazed on all the different terrain that had. Small park like Durhamtown but had way more different obstacles.
I enjoyed CAW, we did a video on it, had a foggy wet day there too, the dust there wouldve been bad as well. Need to hit busco beach sometime too.
"Check your undercarriage!"
Best to do it regularly. ;)
