In November 2022, we were evacuated from the Swan Reserve after a fire alarm was sounded. We made our way down the stairs from an upper floor after being twisted around by confusing hallways and locked doors. Then, we sat outside for over an hour while the fire department determined everything was safe. We were nervous since we were meeting friends at B&B and we hadn’t dressed for dinner yet. All turned out okay. But the next day, we went to the Wilderness Lodge for lunch and as soon we sat down, all the lights in the lobby began to flash on and off. Another fire alarm! Caleb would have been in his glory if he were with us! Your day at the MK and GF brought back memories. You just have to wonder what’s next!

I'm not kidding - you are soo funny! I've been looking to see if I'm in the background when you were at MK. But nope, I'm not. I think we were in the same parks when you were there earlier w Steve and again on your solo. Kinda cool.

I'm so glad your night turned around. :)... I can't believe you were evacuated off monorail and then GF. Waldorf has the shuttle that takes you to MK.. just in case you dont want to drive next time.. It goes to all 4 parks and Disney Springs. You can never go wrong at the Waldorf and Riviera though. I never saw that view you had at Waldorf.. that was different. Glad your night turned out okay..

I love a cloudy morning in a good hotel all by myself! Its awesome. Please don't fret about content, we are happy just to tag along. When I get lost in a new city, I call it adventuring & hum the Indiana Jones Theme song in my head. Now if I'm on a schedule...💀

I can't believe you've never been on the Skyliner before! It's my favorite mode of Disney transportation 😊 We always pick a skyliner resort because we love them so much! Kinda wish we got to see your first "landing". They definitely come in a little hot 😂 I hope someday they expand it to more parks or resorts. I would love to be able to Skyliner to Disney Springs or Animal Kingdom
Catching up on your back issues. Mike, I so felt for you when you couldn't get the right exit! That always happens to me when I travel on my own...my sat nav hates me I'm sure...lol. What a day you had!
