You actually make us laugh out loud! 😂 My husband says I would take three hours just to microwave popcorn with all my talking. And your puppy will grow out of that stage. Ours did. We just had to confine her to a basically empty room (or large crate) while we were out for a bit. Now we have a cat. Thats trouble... Happy summer!

fyi..We keep our dogs on a schedule, similar to that of a child. That includes a quiet area for them which is gated off. This keeps them safe when we are not able to supervise them. We find that a couple of invigorating walks during the day works wonders. We also incorporate some activities during their day to keep them from getting bored. Kong toys, games such as “Find It” (hide little pieces of her favourite healthy treats or dabs of interesting scents in different tricky areas of the backyard and house. This game keeps our dogs occupied for hours. There are also some great toy blankets you can get that you hide things in “lift a flap” that our dogs really enjoy. Caleb would be great setting that up for her. Hope this helps…🙂
Fun Vlog Mike, too funny when you acted out the scary coffee lady. Congrats on Calebs graduation. The years fly by way too quick with the kids. My daughter is out of college and married now.

Aw how I don’t miss the puppy chase 🤣 we give our dog either a lick-a-mat to keep him occupied and to tire him out while we are out, or just put him into his crate with a treat 😊

This was so enjoyable. I laughed all the way through. I finally met my match. You are a hyper coffee nut that can really talk , just like me. I look back at my conversations and can’t believe how long I just talked to the mailman. He now knows my life story. Not to mention his mail truck was running the whole time. I was off in Dizzy Land. Skylar needs to be in a crate when you leave until she's a little older. She's bored when you're gone, so she's misbehaving and getting into things she shouldn't. I'm afraid she'll get into something that can cause her to be ill. For her safety, and your peace of mind, please consider it!
Already done lol. We brought back her crate, but I have to admit I was nervous to include that in the video cuz without a doubt it will invite haters to comment that we're doing something wrong by crating her 🤷🏻♂️

We used a baby gate to keep our puppy where he needed to be when he couldn’t be trusted haha.
Oh my gosh you crack me up Mike! You don’t ever have to apologize for your videos- I feel like a friend you are talking to and you are so funny. I have a habit of constantly apologizing for literally everything ( even if I’m the person knocked over in the grocery store I’ll apologize for being in the way🙄) and I’m trying to change that. Anyway our chocolate lab puppy chewed literally everything for the first two years. Yikes. lol. Thank you for sharing- you all are such a delight❣️
Skylar is so cute! I just went through the "chewing" phase with my pup last year, frustrating🤣 After 2 expensive vet visits, she went to a blocked off area for her safety and my finances!

Whenever we leave the house, the dog goes into his crate. Been that way for 4 years.
He looked so handsome in his suit. We had a yellow lab, he ate EVERYTHING. Enjoy Hollywood

Skylar is a cutie you might want to look into a board and train I have German shepherds and it is a must for them I left her for a month and then went back once a week with my family to do more training. Because before that I was living how you guys are living, if not maybe crate her or what we were doing we had to gate her from one hallway to the other hated doing it but she was destroying our home and our furniture lol your videos are amazing I love watching you alone it’s never boring! The puppy stage is a real "chew" your own adventure- Literally the week I brought my Golden Retriever puppy home I broke my foot and she hyper fixated on chewing the boot it was in (that was fun -_-). Not furniture, not clothes, nope the big blue shoe thing on mom's foot that she hobbles around the house in.
Kong toys with frozen peanut butter and treats in it. Or benedryl. Our dog was really anxious whenever we left and now he is prescribed anxiety meds

Skylar definitely needs a crate, for her safety and your stuff. Crate training can be hard, but try to make it a happy place for the dog. If she doesn’t like it, don’t go up to her and let her out once she barks, etc. Then she is training you. I know it can be difficult. There are different crates out there made of different materials for different types of dogs.

Ohhh those days! The amount of remotes, cellphones, books, etc., I lost to our dog considering it a toy and chewing it up to shreds! It’s all a learning experience for the next time haha. The crate is your best friend for training. And I, for one, love the home vlogs and ranty Mike! Definitely brings a lot of personality and gives me ideas of new kitchen gadgets to get. Literally got a new coffee maker after seeing one of these home vlogs and haven’t looked back! 😅

Yes there are changing stations in the men’s rooms. Great idea btw, we’ll touch on this in an upcoming video.

You need to get Skylar various chew toys. We would have this happen till years later on a new puppy we started getting chew toys, edible chew stuff and wow no more damage.
Skyler is teething. She will chew anything and everything. Get her some teething toys.
