I met him once while training at Vee arnis jujitsu in lower Manhattan. Class was over when he came in. Some of the student went back on the mat and got a first hand brief lesson. I was blessed to have been on the mat with him if only for a few minutes. It was obvious that he loved to teach. A true Master.
Decades ago I walked on a street in lower Manhattan, there was a martial arts school and the outside was painted black & yellow as I recall. There was a small man sweeping the front steps. He saw me looking and smiled. It was professor V. I wish I had gone in and taken a class. I didn't know who he was at the time. Many years later I realized it was Professor V.

I wish he’d give a lesson on how he kept all his hair!
Does anyone know who master bees instructors were? Does anyone know what style of arnis he did?
If he studied with marinas then he probably did a largo Mano style. Arnis Lanada. I’m guessing though.
Truly a great martial artist. Humble, non-violent, selfish but lethal when he had to be.
