I have my fixture on a heat plate. That way I keep entire platform and phone housing warm to keep glue soft. Use temp gun to monitor temperature of phone housing. Works like a charm ❤

@@andrikurniawan531 To about 80c, that keeps housing just warm enough to keep screen adhesive pliable enough. Keep in my heat loss, so will have to run hot plate a bit hotter

Is it best to wait until the screen starts to lift from the housing before adding isopropyl? I normally do it before using a similar tool and recently I ran into an issue where the glass and plastic frame started to separate.

It doesn't really matter. Either way is fine. Just as long as the Isopropyl doesn't dry up before it can do its thing.
