Can 100% confirm top is not the way. If bot loses you lose the game. Top has no effect on bot lane. Play roaming mid or jungle. Make sure bot wins lane.
@@herpderp66 I've hit my goals every year just playing Fiora top. Even if the botlane is fed, you can always split push and make the fed bot lane make macro decisions. You're less team reliant and have more control especially late game.

Just the coaching in all Neace coaching sessions he posts on the Tube are incredible. I’ve seen a lot of the same mistakes I’ve made grossly in his videos, and just the advice to his students alone has helped me climb up a few divisions in a few days time. I used to be hardstuck i4 and I’m pushing into bronze soon.
My main issues were a lack of discipline in my champion pool. I used to have a champ pool of like 30 champs. Since discovering the absolute gold that is your channel, I’ve lowered my pool down to 5 between mid and support and I’ve seen drastic improvements.
My CSing is still cheeks in most matches. But my improvements have been a lot on map control and gauging fights to see if they’re even worth jumping in to die over. My deaths have significantly decreased and even in the support role, I carry about 7/10 of my games just from having a powerhouse level presence whenever I do decide to participate in team fights that seem slightly sketch or completely safe to enter.
My mid lane still needs a lot of works but I’ve adopted a number of Neace strategies to improve my chances of surviving laning phase without being a total goober.
Because of Neace I’ve been accused of smurfing at least 3 times since the start of my climb and I’m actually happy.
So Neace this is a big ass thank you, for all your hard work and taking your time to coach some of the best students and some of the gooberest students. I’m aware this is your income but you don’t even have to share these here for us to see and learn from.

It's refreshing. The reason the teacher asks you the question is to make you think about it. Too many fools spend almost no time at all thinking about their decisions. They just do what they have always done. See red, got to fight!
Neace does a good job going into the WHY to help you learn how to make your own decisions eventually. So you don't have to have a coach over your shoulder shouting directions, but instead can use your own brain rather than autopilot.

This game really is like plato's cave for me at least. I thought my strength was knowledge of champions, then the more I play I realise theres so much to knowing which matchups win and I see how much I really don't know lol

I really like the Offense and defense scenario. Changes my mindset when it comes to laning.
Took a long time to find out what really i really wanted to play and went back and forth through roles and eventually chose adc but because i spent time through different roles so I know how they work especially jungle learn jungle before going into another role because then you will know the jungler's pathing on their champion.
Definitely enjoy these videos. But I stopped caring about climbing a long time ago. For a while I forgot to have fun. Never went past gold. Now I play Aran with friends more then I play ranked. Way more enjoyable for me at least

this is why i like my top lane. when i do good i’ve easily carried a team to a victory. because when they don’t have a top lane they don’t have a good frontline. loses a lot of team fights.
Another fire coaching, I've been playing this game for almost 2 years now and have been watching Neace ever since. I know how to play because of the coachings and I recently hit silver on my otp Garen account. How? Feeding my ass off having too much pressure and winning games. I play support and for some reason sometimes I think it is the right lane to play to climb. In low elo most people play support when they fill role, which means they are not raelly good at it. So there is big chance that you will play much better, secure more dragons, ward the map, help your adc and mid, etc. Am I wrong?
I also play mid but I get very frustrated because I see bot lane play really bad and I start thinking "I should have chosen support". And now that I'm climbing (I was gold last week) I don't think my mid role is as good as supp soy I almost never go mid .
On the other side, playing support in low elo can be frustrating as well. So I used to play mostly mages so I don't depend 100% on my adc skills. I am platinum 3 atm, I started using now all types of support (actually my favs are Sona, Rakan, Soraka, Lux, Zyra)
What about DuoQ - what roles nake most sense? Just bot or is jungle + any other lane maybe?
people will talk badly, but even if you don’t agree with a call it’s a free way of accessing your own thought process when you play. I was hardstuck plat for a few years and this year I finally got diamond and climbed to masters in under 50 games, the coaching helps a lot.

I am stuck at Iron what champion or role should I learn?
Hard stuck gold saw this video I went illao vs riven. Literally played def the whole early lane. Then took towers and just mega scaled anyone who got near me got oneshotted. Whole team was feeding, karma support gave up and kept ff at base. One mistake from them and I got quadra and closed game. This man is defo tho goat keep up the grind King 👊🏾

top lane is honestly the best role for me coz ppl just ignore u, they all want the dragons, the adc and the wards but when it comes to a top laner usually it's the support or their under-leveled midlaner always holds. u just buy hullbreaker and take demolish, u take towers and run away from ur team and do it over and over and they will still choose to fight over drags 30 mins in🤣🤣

i play jg and my duo plays top. ive played mid and hes played bot. no matter what 2 roles we play, the other 3 just feed the game away. even if i get soul and baron i cant be in mid and bot at the same time.

Illaoi tip: Illaoi tentacles during her ult will spawn according to the direction of the player's cursor. Placing the cursor in the direction of the nexus at 40:15 would've let him kill Olaf, and in a lot of future fights aiming the ultimate can layer spirit damage and champion damage for essentially double damage on the opponent. It's not a huge thing, but it can turn a lot of close fights in your favor. Love the content!!!

It really annoys me how toplaners will complain how it's difficult to climb from top because you can't impact the rest of the map, while also knowing that top is the most snowbally role. They just cannot put 2 and 2 together.

Just from watching this, I could tell right away his main issues odd. He doubles down on fights he doesn't need, but he hesitates on fights he should take. He forgets to ignite twice I believe and he hesitates on utilizing his E. He'd see results once he learned how to properly choose his fights.

I wish people would stop clowning on this guy. He really is intelligent about the game, i was silver and happy there maybe 3ish years ago, i used his tips (and others) and now am a proudly hard stuck diamond player. He isn’t what people make him to be, he has helped so many.

Super depends on the individual case, but in general getting from iron to gold really shouldn't be that difficult, especially with someone with as much coaching experience as Neace.
Don't fall for this. There isn't a "get quick" role you can pick to climb to your goal. Pick your best champs in your best role and practice. All roles can carry.
I peaked plat 4 4 years ago as a jungle main, stopped playing for 2 years, and fucked around for the past 2 years, and I am now currently at my peak of p3 and CLIMBING all thanks to riots dogshit matchmaking. Started spamming shaco support/jg on an account that was silver 1 4 years ago to help a friend out of silver, and the game thought I was a smurf and started giving me high plat low diamond lobbies and I guess I'm a plat shaco supp main now.......

The role you should play to climb is whichever one you enjoy and can put a lot of time into. At the end of the day, no matter the role you pick you're going to have to put a lot of time into to get good and climb to high ranks. As well as the game balance changes all the time. At one point in time top was the carry role, then another it was mid, then another it was jungle. Then ADC then support and so on. If you only pick a role because its best role right now then you what are going to do when you're playing a role you don't like and that role isn't the best anymore? You going to swap and have to learn all over again? That is pretty stupid to do if your goal is just climbing.
Top lane has been the mostly 1v1 role that just eventually takes the enemy base if they win the 1v1 forever now, probably pretty safe to say it's a good choice to get out of low elo easily in the future too.
@@Failzz8 Every role has its route to carry. Jungle, mid and support impact the map and have more say so over who is winning or losing lane and doing well. ADC can hard carry if they can get into late game by just hitting good farm and minimizing deaths. All roles have route they carry from and chasing the current op role is just going to make stay hard stuck forever because you're going to have to keep relearning the game over and over.
@@demon3203 Sure every role CAN carry, thats not the point, the point is that Top has the easiest time doing so in lower elos and so far that has consistently been true for like a decade. And not because top is OP or anything, but simply because how far away from the action the role is and thereby eliminating more random interferences than any other role.
@@Failzz8 I'm saying what you're saying isn't set in stone, because other people have a philosophy that you can control a game better and therefor win when you're playing roles that impact everyone like jungle, mid and support. There is and never has been any set and stone best role to climb with, because it always changes with meta, players/playstyle and region. For example, in korea jungle has been the staple best role because their games end faster. Junglers are at their strongest in early and early-mid game.

Illaoi is arguably better mid than top and crushes hard due to her fast pushing potential + more tentacles.
I've played against Illaoi mid a few times and it's dogshit. Like a lot of low mobility melee champions, Illaoi needs a long lane to chase down ranged champions. She'll probably be broken against assassin mids but she's trash against mages. They'll out shove her and they don't have to worry about being run down because they're so close to their tower.
@@Nuvizzle There is big difrence Illaio to Illaio. Illaio mid is picked as counter pick against all mele mid laners. She obv strugles against ranged champs. If you open Lolalytics all her bad match ups in mid lane are ranged champs and all her good match ups are mele champs

I think any role but ADC is good for climbing at low elo. An actual good jungler in a low elo game will win the game for their team in 5 minutes. Mid laners can scale and 1v9 like tops and in fact most top champs can be played mid fine as well in low elo. Even a support who knows what they're doing will be able to exploit resets and roam timers to win all 3 lanes for their team. ADC is pretty much the one fucked role in low elo, even most high elo ADC mains play a different role to climb through low elo because you just have so little impact early in a game that is super snowbally. Don't get me wrong, a high elo ADC will still stomp through low elo and win the vast majority of their games, but they'll have longer and harder games than any other role.
I watch that first top fight (Ill vs Viego) and realize that high silver elo is more mechanically skilled and better than gold. By miles. Not even funny.

Here's some cold hard truth:
There are many skills needed to play a game like this. Imagine those skills being in categories. You might be 1 star at a category, or 5 stars. Low Rank players typically have no 5 stars in any area, and often have several 1s. The higher you go in Rank, the better across the board players become. Not everybody reaches 5 star in all categories. But across the board higher Rank players consistently are 4+.
That is why you can see a Silver and they might actually be good mechanically. Yet they are terrible at several other categories. And that's why they are Silver.
In other words, while their Rank is low that doesn't mean every category of their game is bad.
Similarly, you might see a high Rank player that isn't all that hot mechanically or isn't the best at matchups. But they're at that Rank because they're really good in every other category so they can make up for it.
A lot of people just want to shit on Low Ranks as if they are terrible across the board or as if every Low Rank is the same kind of bad. It's not true.
Every single IV division is worse than the I division from the rank below. The hard to derank and the promotions causes this.

Top or jungle. ADC is unplayable because you are stuck with a random support, support is bad because you are stuck with a random adc. Mid is good but takes ages to find a game and youll get autofilled every 3-4 games.
