- Back in November-December 2022, you helped to move this family from Kyiv, Ukraine, to the USA through the Uniting for Ukraine program.
My friend Daryna and her 2 kids, Olenka and Kyryll, are SAFE. And even though they miss their home, relatives and friends in Ukraine, they are very grateful for being in a safe place.
Thank you, Megan, who hosted Daryna and her children. Thank you, my dear subscribers, who donated $10.000 and helped to get ready for the trip and buy them tickets to POland first and then to the USA.
Daryna did not spend it all. She keeps a part of the donation for her return ticket. I hope it will happen soon.

The USA is very blessed to have Ukrainians staying in our Country. I wish it was not to escape a horrible war. I think it would be so challenging to move to a different Country, especially if you are not familiar with the language. You definitely did the right thing for your children! A very compelling story about what Daryna and her children endured before coming to the U.S. Thanks for sharing the details of her story! I'm glad that we were able to help her come to the U.S. and no longer have to worry about shelling, missile attacks, and infrastructure outages. Now, Daryna and her children can live in peace and hopefully recover from their emotional trauma.

Hi Olena. I have met a young Ukrainian mother in Canada. I am doing everything I can to help her. This war is just so horrible .. how it is affecting so many families is absolutely heartbreaking. I just want to mention a utube channel Katia, her brother and little sister, and your son and daughter might enjoy seeing … Gaitlyn Rae. She is a 10 yr old capuchin monkey who lives in North Carolina. She lives on a farm with her family, and lots of animals. She brings laughter and I think the children will love seeing her!!

▬ My admiration for Poland cannot match that land's breadth of "charity", in biblical-sense. People once so shattered, nation barbarically mauled, and violence-stricken, crucible-nightmare passage, WW-II years. I suppose it is from that generational-memory, such sacrificial-depth of compassion been shown, through generous open arms towards Ukrainians in flight, with brotherly _love-embraced,_ from storm's awful night.
