Just wondering…….are going pro touring on this build ? I feel that with the shorter wheelbase that it would more than likely do well on road course . I see Optima Battery Challenge in your near future! I’d go for it dude that truck would be a big hit in the design and performance categories for Optima Battery Challenge Circuit!

Hey man, i am kinda scared for you. I have been trying to get my C10 past inspection and they are insane here (in BC). i was reading an article on the standards for the vehicle to pass, and it specifically states if there has been any welding done on the frame it automatically fails. I don't know how thats possible, maybe it means like farmers scabbing together stuff, not high quality work like yours, but here is a cut and paste right from the article: 8. If there is any evidence of high-strength steels are oxy-acetylene or stick, electrode welded, or structural components are gas welded the vehicle fails inspection; and 9. If any structural components have been sectioned or repaired by other than an approved standard and process the vehicle does not pass on either the body integrity inspection report or on the mechanical inspection.
Hey, here in Nova Scotia I've seen a few people with ratrods that have homemade chassis and they didn't have problems registering them. I believe I will need a mechanical inspection before going for a mvi. Could be interesting though lol
@@ag_trucks I reached out to a few people on C10 groups asking for help. A few mechanics that do these inspections got back to me. Apparently alot of it is left up to the tech, mainly its in there just to give them ammo to shut down guys that did a half ass job or did something dangerous. I am pulling my LS/4L80e out of my C10, i have to fix a few scabby things the PO did. clearance the framerail for a turbo manifold and AC compressor then box the frame. Aiming for 700-800rwhp... probably best to stiffen the whole rig up.
