- This is the River Stour in Kent. 4K drone footage filmed from Plucks Gutter to the mouth of The Stour in Pegwell Bay, Sandwich.
I did my best to get as much cinematic drone footage of the River Stour as is curves its way through some beautiful countryside in Kent. Unfortunately, some of the River Stour's journey passes alongside some vast forests of power lines from Monkton to the Richborough area.
I enjoyed filming the marina in Sandwich and also enjoyed the peaceful area of The Stour between Plucks Gutter and Monkton. I think I only saw one other person in my 2+ hour walk along the river side.
The other disappointing aspect of this River Stour drone video was the ending that I explain in person at the end of the video.
The DJI Mini 2 did a fantastic job of capturing the colourful views along the River Stour. My only mistake was shooting into the sun during some of the opening shots. It's something that I need to remember not to do as it is very difficult to correct it during the drone video editing process using Premiere Pro.

Great footage. Makes me think of the river nearby my town. Gonna fly there as soon as the weather lets me. 👍#5
It was very peaceful for most of it. Lots of walking though!
It's nice to see the sun and everything turning green. Nice flight and fully watched!👍
The sun makes all the difference for me. I did cock a few shots up by shooting into the sun! Lesson learnt. 🙂
@@dronesdeep No worries. Glad to see you respect the no drone zone even though they're a pain.
Awesome, good work 👋👋👋
Many thanks. It was a really nice day to be out with a drone.
Nice video. I fish that river all the time, i didn't know that bridge was there ! when did that crossing get built ?
No idea
Bridge has gone now it was put up for a National Grid Nemo Link development.
