This type of deposit is something you dream about and the rumor was it was very rich in Free Mill Gold so we go on the hunt to find it and we use all of the Geological clues to help find it. The specimen Gold that is coming out of the quartz vein is incredibly beautiful and you can see why someone tried to hide the mine and lock it away with a steel door. Hey Jeff - Just got back home. I was out in the high sierra gold country. Got a couple little nuggets in the holes of folks who dug some gravel, but didn't check the bedrock with a metal detector (gotta always check those holes before you walk away!). I had a few guys from Fisher Metal detectors (First Texas) with me and we were testing out some different models and designs. Overall, a great trip and some good gold. I share your excitement over finding a gold bearing vein like that. Looks like you are onto something good - Congrats! Seems like it might be worthwhile to bring out the Sierra Blaster equipment stuff to break some gold bearing ore rock!
thats great my brother ....I agree with you ....people never do that not sure why ..... yes we can't wait to start into it and get that beautiful specimen Gold ..... thats what we were thinking too or someone that has a FEL to blast so we can make short order work of it ....keep us posted of your finds and be safe out there
