(This is being posted on every video within the CampingRandy™ UA-cam Channel) Made a video to talk about the 5 inch lift we installed last week. Using parts from 2.5” HRGOFFROAD Lift Kit, building a 2” Subframe Drop and adding the Flatout Suspension GRPLUS for an additional 2” lift. Nitto Ridge Grapplers 275/65/18 (32.1”) to gain another 1/2”. - Авто та транспорт
Awesome work for us. Looking forward to the final product
Almost there!
I just got the PRL intake and scoop lol
This is a great look for overlanding
Enjoy!!!!!!!
I appreciate you sharing all the info. There is quite a bit of work involved with what you're talking about.
I bought the traxxda axle relocators. I got everything off but for the life of me, could not press them in. A friend of mine took it to work and did it for me. He said it was a pretty serious challenge but he was able to get it done for me. I'd given him the old bracket that I had cut off and that's what they used to press in the new one. He works at a mechanic shop. Since then I've been running 31.5" Falken Wildpeak AT3s. It's totally doable and paying more to have the bushing pressed is reasonable but if a shop isn't willing to mess with it, I wouldn't want to work with them. Wish I liked beer, I'd have a drink with you.
Good work, the only concern I had with 2 inch sub drop was the steering shaft. I took one apart and happy to report a 2 inch drop is indeed perfectly safe with no drawbacks from extensions. The wiring is not that bad of a issue but the coolant hoses could be longevity wise. Anyway if u ditch the flat out u can actually go higher with smaller strut spacers up top which means more suspension travel
Thanks for the feedback!!! Awesome
I got a new 2021 Ridgeline sport 2 years ago. Love it. I immediately installed P265 Cooper AT3s all around. No rubbing at that point. Then I installed a 2-inch leveling kit, and the front tires now rub when full lock left in reverse. They didn’t rub at all before the leveling kit.
I notice that the headlights need to be adjusted down since almost everybody flashes me when my low beams are on. Any source or link on how to adjust them? It looks like a long screwdriver of some sort is needed. Any advice would be great.
Either a long torc head or socket. ua-cam.com/video/cTdo0nqqTuI/v-deo.html
The lift looks great! Are you hearing clunks driving over potholes? I have been patiently working with them to resolve that issue for a long time. The second set makes the same noise.
I’m getting heavier springs for the rear to test. It’s a work in progress.
how much does it affect the fuel economy?
With 32" tires, do you get any rub with the firewall trimmed away?
Because of the 2” spacers yes but close to full lock. Normal travel and off-road flex I’m good.
Okay so I may have spoken to you on Instagram I'm building or wanting to build my 2024 Ridgeline to be an overlanding vehicle in so much that I want to constantly run roughly 1200 lb of weight knowing that the max amount is 1,466 payload what suggestions do you have? I don't plan on beating it to death in the outback, really not hardcore off-road but want to add as much protection as possible for hauling the weight. Definitely want to add a lift and maybe some more capable tires. Don't need them to be much larger though. Just looking for better suspension ideas
You lost me at cutting the firewall.
Post some vids of that bad girl

WHAT I CANT HEAR YOU?
If guys can lift a Razor to the sky, why not a Ridgeline?
All that trouble and not even run 33" tires tires? Tacoma's run 33 on stock suspension
Tacomas ride and drive like shit, not to mention crappy gas mileage. Oh and drum brakes. Move along. Thanks for your useless comment. This is not a Toyota channel….
You're on the wrong channel.
@@hybridstiger @CampingRandy I got another one for you. After you go through all of these hops lift a unibody honda to fit the same tire a Tacoma fits with a stock suspension the honda will ride way worse than a stock tacoma. let's not even talk about that hump inside the front wheel well. what a bad design, hondas were made for the city.
Why are we lifting this ?
Why not just buy off road truck and keep the Ridgeline owning the road like it does, better than any other competitor.
Feels like I’d end up with a shitty on road and a shitty off road truck.
But this is just my opinion
Because you can! If you don’t get it, you don’t get it.
Because this works for me.
If I wanted something crazily lifted, I'd get something else. However, the Ridgeline fits the bill.
