This breaks my heart and makes me angry I was homeless for 3 months and kept 2 dogs a rottweiler and a border collie there was no way in hell I was giving my boys up I'd rather live in a cardboard box than give up my boys my border collie passed away a year ago but since then I got 2 chihuahuas so in my home now is my 11 year old rottweiler and my two 2 year old chihuahuas and if I found myself in a situation where I was homeless again I can 100% guarantee my boys wouldn't be going anywhere!

linziejo newton - I had gotten my dog at the worst time of my life when I was broke and been dumped by my boyfriend. 100% miserably paid job and nowhere to go. And I accidentally went into that shelter to ask to make a phone call. And there he was, terrified and shivering, on death row. Minutes from euthanasation. I took him right with me, carried him out the door and went to my grandma's. I didn''t know what to do with him but I couldn't leave him at the shelter. I looked for a another job and got one at the district court where they offered me to bring my dog to work. I soon got better, having a good job and my much loved dog. I could save money, got a nice appartment, found a loving husband who adored my dog. 11 years on, I had to let him go. He sadly died. But who would I be without him? Nobody. I loved him to bits, I still do. Never in my life, I would have abandoned him. I created a life around him, and with him, in fact, he GAVE me a life. My life improved with him and I owe it to him. I'll never understand people who abandon an animal. They are throwing the gift of love and rewards right back into God's face.

My now ex girlfriend just took my dog. I miss him. He was a black Pomeranian and even though I don’t think he liked me much since he always bit me he was my best friend, intact he was my only friend. I miss you cheeks
