    Heard it all before
Shut up. Shut the fuck up.
    Whinge and bleat, baby.
    We’ve heard it all before.
Shut up. Shut the fuck up.
    Sanctimonious, phony little shit.
You can drop the fake affront, pompous ass.

Puscifer is my favorite fucking project Maynard is in. This music is so amazing, I've been listening to it DAILY for years now since it came out. Spent over 1k on front row tickets and cleaned out the merch booth when they came to Cincinnati, Andrew J Brady music center. Was borderline crying the entire show just in awe of the experience I was having.. Maynard pointed directly to me during the "write your own fable" part of Bedlamite, I have it on recording and made a few reels/shorts out of it lol. I know he points to somebody at every show during that song, but I wonder if he picked me because I was the only person in the venue reacting the way that I was, like somebody being healed in a televangelist church 😂😂

I feel like, with TooL, he approaches the lyrics DEEPLY. With Puscifer, he yells more easily, in anger and in jest.
It makes me think he desires and needs the Balance of each, but I wonder if he ever sees the other projects as a form of escape from himself, or as viable aspects of himself.
I also feel like his time with APC was his time to bleed... it was hurtful, and some of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard before in my life.

The constant tryhard cynicism gets old. And this guitarist he's been working with just plays the most boring riffs with the same guitar tone on every single song.

"Pious lipstick, smeared fundamentalism" is some brilliant lyricism right there, one of my favourite lines on Existential Reckoning which has many. The opening of this track has some good Boards of Canada vibes, which is awesome! Thank you once again, Puscifer. My Arcosanti Desert Hoodie would soon leave Texas for India. Looking forward to rocking it this winter!

Holy shit puscifer is resurfacing in my life with whole new meaning. Their song apocalyptical brings their form and meaning in all their other songs soaring to relevance and the era is finally meeting the necessity of the utility of their style: accepting the absurdity of the mundane and creating enlightenment from the mundane. Collective meditative experience uniquely different, but for now I'll just shut the fuck up and appreciate existence. Thank you!
