Sarcasm is an ironic or satirical remark tempered by humor. Mainly, people use it to say the opposite of what's true to make someone look or feel foolish. For example, let's say you see someone struggling to open a door and you ask them, "Do you want help?" If they reply by saying, "No thanks. I'm really enjoying the challenge," you'll know they're being sarcastic. Sarcasm is all about the context and tone of voice, which is why it works better verbally. It's something you'll know when you hear it. Sarcasm can also be used for comedic relief. For example, "I walked into my hotel room and wondered if the interior decorators thought orange was the new black." The main gist of sarcasm is that the words are not meant to be taken literally. Let's walk through some examples of sarcasm for a better understanding.
Can we talk about how Maynard has released 3 consecutive albums from each of his bands, gone on year long tours after releasing each album? Props to this man💯
I feel compelled to say this: last year in June I was at the Lyric when Puscifer played, and I remember Maynard saying something along the lines of “things aren’t looking so great but there’s still time to turn this ship around” and then what hit me most was when he said “there is still hope” and that really did wake me up. I love everything about this, my ears are happy, and the video makes me smile. Leave it to Maynard, I shared with my children because if they didn't introduce me to Tool I would not know about Puscifer, my new favorite at 60.
I just watched a clip where Maynard talked about this video and with every thing going on. He wrote the lyrics to this song back in August/September and the video just got caught in the middle of all this and they just kind of went with it. It's amazing how it goes along with all the shit happening now. @@michael12392 Me too. Puscifers EP's Like " “C” Is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference Here)" or "Donkey Punch the Night" are great. Can't tell how often i listened to it.
(in my opinion:) Puscifer is more diverse/exploratory of a sound than APC or Tool, especially if you look at the first recordings from about 12 years ago which was a rotating group of musicians. I've really enjoyed all of the catalogue and it's all on spotify including re-mix albums which have some real gems. Check out the differences between "V is for Vagina," "Conditions of My Parole," and "Money Shot" - they all have a dark grooviness, but there's more exploration of space in the newer material. Overall it also seems to never take itself nearly as seriously as his other projects, although he's always had a trolly sense of humor. The three projects are starting to sound more similar to me with each of their most recent releases, which is great for me since I like the product :D

Totally! After the wild ride that is Year Zero winds down to a slow pace and ends sadly, Apocalyptical comes on next and gets your foot tapping into a more upbeat eotw groove. The question then is what next? “So Long, and Thanks For All the Fish”? Need something to bridge into Fear Inoculum, too.

1. Why am I obsessed with this music video.
2. Why am I obsessed with the facial expressions during the singing. Its like mocking and works SO WELL.
Raise your hand if you were even there in the Green Jello days. He’s absolutely brilliant. I’ve learned in 30 years of watching him, if you don’t like something he does, give it time and you’ll get it. He’s always ahead of you no matter how smart you think you are. He’s beyond timeless.
not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!
I'm kinda diggin' MJK's Quentin Tarantino/ Rocky Horror Picture Show/Robert Palmer Addicted to Love vibe in this video.
OMG Would he play the Sweet Transvestite or The Satanic?
🙌🏻 I got major Robert Palmer vibes! I love it!
Pixxy Haze me too!!
Do you think he was sitting in "quarentine" binge watching those flix and thought, fuck I could mush these epic films/vids together and make an apocalypticly epic video for my pandemic song!!! ?
He's rocking the Agent Smith look. A sarcastic old soul. Lol
Can we all just appreciate the ghostly creepy softness of Carina Round's voice? Woman is a force of nature.
She is epic.

She's at her best when she's in that mode, IMO
She leaves me awe- struck every time!
Yes. Yes we can.
Sometimes I think Maynard can’t get enough of that Adult swim look
Definitely had those vibes
Right? It's very Tim and Eric.
I can't quite put my finger on why, but this may be one of my favorite music videos ever.
What in the masterpiece is this
I love everything about this, my ears are happy, and the video makes me smile. Leave it to Maynard, I shared with my children because if they didn't introduce me to Tool I would not know about Puscifer, my new favorite at 60.
Your an awesome open minded person
Niiiiiice 🤘
Fucking rock on man!
I love this band and their sense of humor so much.
This is not music, this not art, this is mind blowing.
The pointe in the end of the video is really, really good.
I just watched a clip where Maynard talked about this video and with every thing going on. He wrote the lyrics to this song back in August/September and the video just got caught in the middle of all this and they just kind of went with it. It's amazing how it goes along with all the shit happening now. I couldn't agree more with him saying that people need to stop using this pandemic as a political foot hold (not verbatim) and how we need to take care of each other. Friends, family, loved ones. Thank you for the awesome new music and video in these tough times. 💜 Take care and stay safe, everyone! 💜

There's something about the way MJK turns his head slightly and says " Be" that keeps me coming back to watch this over and over

@@michael12392 Me too.
Puscifers EP's Like " “C” Is for (Please Insert Sophomoric Genitalia Reference Here)" or "Donkey Punch the Night" are great.
Money Shot, their recent album is a very underrated gem. Can listen to it all day long.
APC's "eat The Elephant" and "Thirteen Steps" are my favs from them.
Fear Innoculum is just perfect for me.

I feel like this would fit in NIN's Year Zero. It's both topically and sonically similar to that album.

1:57- A warped view of hazmat bro on a black motorcycle travelling through the slums in stark contrast to the last shot
2:00- Maynard's business persona is "dancing" stiffly with 90 degree hands and arms with his legs doing the same when not moving

4:20- Parking lots from earlier are empty
4:21- Empty beaches
4:23 to 4:33- Maynard taps his foot 3 times, 2 times then 1 time in a subliminal countdown
4:37- Hazmat bro skates by a sign flashing "safe and healthy"
4:42- After a smirk from Mila(?) he falls off his board
4:45- Maynard dancing in front of a cornonavirus mimicking a comet about to hit the planet with the lyrics over the top saying "It's far too late" with animations of the virus multiplying
